Google Nexus 6 reveals his real name and the face

The smartphone which was already known to us under the code name Shamu the Google Nexus 6, now has become more open and reveals its real name Nexus X.

As we already know that iPhone 6 biggest brother will have 5.5 inches of the screen, we can surely state that phablet Nexus 6 or X, as been already told will be the mother of all phablets having 5.92 inches in diagonal, oversizing everyone on its path. But what is certainly known is that the AMOLED display with Quad HD resolution 2560x1440 pixels (493 pixels per inch), as an operating system preinstalled Android 5.0 Lollipop.

Also following specifications were mentioned in the upcoming Google’s model: a quad core Qualcomm Snapdragon 805 processor with frequency 2.7GHz, 3GB of RAM, an Adreno 420 GPU, 32GB of storage and a 3,200mAh battery with QI wireless charging. And as to the camera it is stated that the Motorola itself will create a camera module on the Google phone featuring 13 megapixel rear camera and 2 megapixel front camera for good quality selfies and video chatting.

Anyway the Nexus 6 launch is still based on web rumors, therefore we cannot tell you exactly when it will be released. Though it is expected to be completely revealed in mid-October and we will keep you informed if any more rumors seep out again.

Finally Apple has officially released the iPhone 6 coming together with an elder brother called iPhone 6 Plus

It has long been no secret that a new generation of smartphones from the greatest brand of all times for the first time will be presented as the two models coming at once. This couple's design is incredibly attractive for sure, but is it quite enough for the customer to pull out his wallet in rush and get one of them at store?

From one year to another, each reincarnation of iPhone was mightier with each new model, and the sixth rebirth is not an exception this time. It would be strange to see inside the new device all of the last year's assemblies, modules, or something else not making iPhones inimitable, as we expect them to see. But nevertheless, the absence of a great leader is palpable. It is unlikely for the leading smartphone to step into the new world with an enlarged clone being afraid of the anticipating crowd to be disappointed a bit. Anyway this is the strategy chosen by the company we have fallen in love with, but the respect for the brand was struggled by Steve himself and who knows how would he arrange new strategy in a volatile world we live in.

Abusing the lyrics we can affirm that the 4.7-inch iPhone 6 has a new IPS display with a resolution of 1334×750 (326 PPI), rounded edges and smooth transition area between the glass protecting the screen and casing. It also has an A8 chip with 64-bit architecture, which is generally 25% faster than the A7, and 50% improved with graphics. Also there is M8 motion coprocessor and a new 8MP iSight camera with 1.5µ pixels which supports: autofocus, Hybrid IR filter, Auto HDR, face detection. Video Recording is performed at 1080p and 30 fps or 60 fps and slo-mo video at 120/240 fps. Weight and dimensions of 4.7-inch model is 4.55 ounces (129 grams) and 5.44x2,64x0,27 inches respectively.

And the new comer handset named iPhone 6 Plus has a 5.5-inch IPS Retina HD display offering 1920x1080 pixels at 401 ppi, 500 cd/m2 Max brightness and 1300:1 contrast ratio. There is an improved 8MP camera, which contains an optical image stabilization to explain the "Plus" token in the end of its name.

Other specifications such as Time-lapse video recording, Cinematic stabilization, Continuous autofocus, Exposure control, Burst mode, Panorama and a 3x zoom inherent for the both models. FaceTime Cameras are also identical. 1.2-megapixel sensor with ƒ/2.2 aperture can recordi video in 720p HD. The front-facing camera has a backside illumination sensor, Auto HDR, face detection, Exposure control and, of course, the same Burst mode.

iPhone 6 Plus can run for 24 hours of talk time on communication 3G, and iPhone 6 - 14 hours, 14 and 11 hours of video, 50 and 80 hours of music playing. The new Apple iPhones come with three different color options, latest Apple’s mobile operating system iOS 8 on board, which is fully compatible with the new Apple Watch being unveiled too. As all of us expected it features a built in the Home button Touch ID fingerprint scanner for better security of your data. HTC teases the competitors with their latest 64-bit smartphone Desire 820

Now HTC is again trying to get to technological Olympus by improving the devices of the present. A high probability to stay on top has a new Desire flagship smartphone, which was built using a 64-bit architecture.

HTC promotes the new Desire 820 as the world’s first Android smartphone with a 64-bit mobile processor on board. Unsurprisingly that HTC is betting on 1.5GHz octa-core processor Snapdragon 615 from Qualcomm since it provides overall reduction in energy consumption and acceptable thermal condition. Although this is an advanced computing engine with unimaginable productivity, so you don’t have to worry about the battery life and burns on your palms.

It is worth remembering that this device is not an ordinary representative of its class, and the potential is close to a portable multimedia center packed together with full-fledged game console for your favorite and upcoming games too. Outfitted in a total of eight independent cores it provides efficient multitasking at a steadily increasing demands of multimedia applications.

In a addition to eight core processor there are 2GB of RAM, Adreno 405 GPU and 16/32GB of built-in storage, which probably can be expanded by memory cards. The new HTC Desire 820 will come with 5.5-inch display with a resolution of  720x1280 pixels, Android 4.4.4 KitKat and HTC Sense, that is naturally for this manufacturer, but there is no mentioning about Android 5.0 that we would like to see on board the new Desire, considering Nexus 6 already has. It will also come with an 8-megapixel front facing camera, a 13-megapixel sensor on the cap and a 2600mAh battery on board.

HTC Desire 820 holds a 4G LTE Cat. 4 connectivity, as well as a Bluetooth 4.0 and WiFi 802.11a/g/b/n. The 64-bit pioneer will reveal itself at the end of this month with the price tag of $449 in Marble White, Tuxedo Grey, Santorini White, and Milky-way Grey boby colours. It seems reasonable, acceptable and quite natural for this part of the market.

Motorola appends a newbie the Moto X series

Various rumors have been circulating through the internet about it and now all the pieces have combined themselves altogether, and there is nothing left kept behind the curtain. So what exactly was added to the initial model to make the new Moto X.

Latest Motorola Android smartphone has undergone some changes. A new 5.2-inch screen has a Full High Definition resolution with 1920x1080 pixels on the outside. It comes with a Qualcomm quad core processor 2.5GHz Snapdragon 801, formerly used 2GB of RAM and GPU Adreno 330 which was replaced by Adreno 320. The new Moto X also has refined design, unique style and authentic materials. The handset boasts updated rear camera with 13-megapixel sensor and possibility to recored in 4K video quality. On the front side a 2-megapixel front-facing camera is located. Motorola Moto X features an Android 4.4.4 KitKat as photo glances, a 16/32GB of storage options and 2300 mAh battery. The new Motorola Moto X smartphone comes in the U.S., Europe, Asia and Latin America with WiFi: 802.11ac and Bluetooth 4.0 LE. In retail it will cost $499 worldwide.

Sony makes waterproofing for mid-range phone Xperia M2

According to the fundamental ideology of the company this new model, which will now be called Xperia M2 Aqua, got IP65/68 waterproofing resistance making it better comparing to IP58 isolation which is inherent in the flagship model Xperia Z2.

Under water-repellent peel there are similar seeds you know. There is the same 4.8-inch HD display, a quad-core  processor 1.2GHz Snapdragon 400, 1GB of RAM, LTE, 2300mAh battery, 8MP main camera and 1.2MP front-facing shooter. Great advantage of novelty is able to make calls up to a half an hour even if you are sitting at the bottom of the pool because the depth of 1.5 meters is not destructive to the device itself. It comes with Android 4.4 KitKat OS containing in pack a number of Sony's apps and services.

Most likely the Xperia M2 Aqua will be oriented for Latin America, Asia Pacific and market of Europe. There's no word on pricing yet, but we'd expect the something similar to $300. Perhaps the date of release will resurface in the next few weeks.

Unlocked ZTE Nubia 5S mini LTE announced for the United States

Today there is an information according to which the Chinese manufacturer has released in the US an unlocked version of the phone Nubia Z5S Mini with support for work in LTE networks.

Not so easy to find cheap unlocked phones in the US, but if you're going to get it any way, there is at least another option - the new ZTE Nubia 5S Mini LTE. The handset is a direct competitor to Sharp's Aqua Crystal smartphone.

Similarly Nubia 5S is equipped with a 4.7-inch 720p-screen, quad-core processor Snapdragon 400, 2GB of RAM, 16GB of internal memory with expandable to 64GB, 13-megapixel primary and a 5-megapixel front-facing cameras.

ZTE Nubia 5S mini LTE is already available for pre-order for $ 280. It also vows to repair any damage you inflict for any reason up to eighteen calendar months after purchase for $80. The smartphone will be shipped from August 27th.

New Sharp's phones without bezel will be making its way across the Pacific

Sharp had the courage to be the first to deliver us the new smartphone without the bezel around the display. Destroying the edge as a concept should make our glance Aqua Crystal. It's time to delete the useless black areas on the edges of the front side once and for all.

This is not surprising, that the Sharp company  knows better about the sharp eyed frames being one of the best TV manufacturers who has announced first about smartphones deprived of this flaw. It is worth recalling that TVs have long gotten rid of the rim and it went up to their advantage. The Aquos Crystal lightly touches the premium segment but is still quite mediocre for the fight against Xperia Z3 or Galaxy Note 4.

Under a 5-inch display with a resolution of 720p screen there are processor Snapdragon 400, 1.5GB of RAM, and 8GB of internal memory with expandable up to 128GB using the slot MicroSD hidden inside. The Aquos Crystal handset also will come with a 2040 mAh battery, WiFi, Bluetooth and Android 4.4.2 as the operating system that, for unknown reasons was set there. And now we can only hope that it will soon be updated.

Apart from that Sharp will launch an upgraded version called Aquos Crystal X. It features a phablet-sized display with a 1080p resolution, high-spirited processor Snapdragon 801 and 16GB of built-in storage.

Sprint has announced availability of Crystals in US with budget-friendly price of $150. In the meantime Aquos Crystal and Aquos Crystal X exactly will win the hearts of Japanese. Even slimmer than the new LG G3 it affects the hearts of the potential customers thanks to its exclusivity.

Samsung Galaxy Alpha might stand near Apple’s devices soon

Samsung will probably release its own iPhone 6, which should be also more budget solution comparing to recent Galaxy S5. Samsung Alpha should get a metallic frame for a better heat exchange, inner parts with lower specs for a sweeter deal saving your pocket money.

A new Sumsung’s device is rumored to have 4.7-inch HD display with 1,280 x 720 resolution, of course not catching the Full HD flagships, but giving a strong competition to the pre flagship ones.

Inside parts are rumored with octa core (quad 1.8GHz + quad 1.3GHz), called as Exynos processor, or a "Quad Core 2.5GHz" processor known to common people as Snapdragon processor (either an 801 or 805) – altogether are the best processing device for the leading smartphones. It will be paired with 2GB of RAM, making Android fly over all the services you might need.

Not mentioning few decreasing ceremonies as skipping micro-USB 3.0, the microSD slot, and waterproofing, on the other we will still have 32GB of free storage memory, fingerprint reader and a heart rate monitor, which might come in handy. For the moment it should be the slimmest device from Samsung series, coming at 7 mm thin range. Under the stomach there is a battery only 1000 mAh less than the S5 has with full democracy capacity of 1860 mAh.

We should only hope that a new trend of Samsung’s slim devices will go far further together with new battery technologies connected tightly and another slimmest device will be proud of being the most endurable in life time according to other budget smartphones offering only a low price on the market.

For the moment a price and of Samsung Alpha is still a mystery, but we might find more on 3rd of September at an event that we expect to release the Samsung Galaxy Note 4!

LG G3 A takes all the best from G3 and G2

LG has an anti-crisis deal that may be of a certain saving for the people, who would like to keep their wallet full, but feeling satisfied with a cool design and full specs in the pocket.

LG G3 A should be a follower of G3 flagship with a unique construction on the outside, but packed with the most of the G2 parts on the inside such as a 32GB of internal memory, 2GB of RAM, card slot MicroSD, Bluetooth 4.0, miniUSB and NFC. The smartphone also has support for LTE-A networks.

LG G3 with index A will be assembled with the 5.2-inch display format coming at 1080p video quality on the screen. The processing power is featured by quad-core 2.26Ghz Qualcomm Snapdragon 800 and will be fed by a 2,610mAh battery sitting still in the device.

Korean software suppliers have granted the device Android 4.4 KitKat together with latest smartphone UI, KnockOn, Knock Code and LG’s "smart" keyboard. On the metallic back smartphone a 13-megapixel rear camera is integrated with autofocus powered with laser aiming.

The estimated price is varied around the $670 and release date is still unrevealed to us.
