i need some spot, race, and hotshot headcannons.
a headcannon of my own is that they have that vibe of the happy gay couple and the disaster bisexual that is basically their permanent third wheel.

Lmaoo I love this trio so much, it seems so chaotic
Hotshot runs over to spot to back him in a fight just to get there and realise it's just him play fighting with race. It happens far too often
I feel like race and hotshot would create a ridiculous lie and try to convince spot that it's real. He believed it once, and he will never live it down.
Spot just blabs to hotshot about race 24/7 and he's just there like spot sybau
Everytime hotshot goes up to spots room, he knocks and opens it with his eyes closed...just in case.
When spot sees Race hanging out one to one with a hotshot, he gets weirdly jealous of the both of them
They use hotshot to settle debates for them (he usually picks spots side because he's scared of him)

SPRACE HCS
1. When race is too tired to get up in the morning (he is not a morning person) spot will just carry him round on his hip whilst he gets ready and does errands until race can be bothered to stand.
2. When talking too eachother they use last names ALOT
3. Constantly bicker over whose taller
4. They both get a kick out of pretending to not know/like each other around other newsies
5. Race always starts tickle fights but always ends up losing (somebody write this as a fic and tag me because that's so cute)
6. Once accidentally swapped suspenders for a day, whilst leaving in a rush
7. Bullying as a type of flirting or the sappiest shit you've ever heard
8. Race is always doing something "for the plot," and it drives spot insaine, trying to keep him from doing something dumb.
9. When race is mad spot will use "pretty" or "baby" to get Race to melt back into his arms
10. Spot loves Races eyes and thinks about them all the time
