I’ve had serious artist block for about a week now. Everything I have started, I’ve trashed. Except this. My two favorite Shiratorizawa boys will never be trash.
Tendou face #2. The best face.
Look. At. This. Gorgeous. Boy.
I actually drew two faces - one serious, one dumb. I will probably do the dumb one eventually because I love dumb face Tendou.
Enjoy~
I love him you can’t stop me.
I might polish this sketch up later. He’s so fun to draw.
Such a lovable idiot! He is so fun to draw.
Watching Haikyuu S3 for the nth time and seeing how irritated Tendou gets because no matter what he does, what point he makes or what move he blocks he can't break the will of any of the Karasuno players is just so funny to me. Not to mention his and ushijima's absolutely irritated and annoyed face when Hinata blocks with his cheek and not with the front of his face because he will get a nose bleed and will be benched, cherry on the top.
We need to create a group where we can shout, scream and cry about haikyuu fanfics. Like right now.
WHEEEE
Aaaaand we’re off to the races everyone! Day one of Tendou Week has arrived! With the prompts, Miracle, Friendship, and Red, let’s see what wonderful creations you’ve created! Tag us for a reblog for anything you make, and consider adding to our ao3 collection!
Happy Tendou Week Eve!! I’m contributing this:
As “hated” a player he is, Tendou manages to get the phone numbers of his favourite opposing players and befriends them. Yes I’m pushing my sugaten friendship agenda here.
Tendou Week starts tomorrow, so to kick us off, send in your favourite headcanons for our favourite miracle boy!
Haikyuu boy headcanons: “how they unbox a box” edition ft life
Noya: tries to rip it open in one go. Like he will grab the sides and literally pull
Suga— knife. All the time. Where did he get that knife? Does he carry it around? Did he steal it? Nobody knows.
Daichi— lawful neutral, his house keys. Duh.
Tendou— the nearest sharp object, like a folded piece of paper or, as he said “Ushijima’s jawline”.
Fukunaga: puts it in water, waits for it to become soggy? Then he rips it open.
Oikawa— makes Iwachan open it for him
Iwaizumi— rips the tape off with pure unmatched physical strength.
Yamagata— b i t e
Haikyuu boys as things my imaginary therapist said to me
Hinata— “You can only do your best when you’re at your best.
Kageyama— “Being alone isn’t always a bad thing, but it’s important to recognize the difference between being alone and being lonely.”
Daichi— “You have to go on. No matter how hard it is. No matter how much it hurts. You go on because there are people counting on you, and you go on because tomorrow, it’s buy one get one free pizza day at the pizzeria.”
Suga— “Failure is an option. Failure is not an end all be all. You don’t have to be a genius at anything to start with, or to end with. It’s not such a terrible thing, to be a failure.”
Oikawa— “The first and most important thing is that you love what you do. Everything else is second.”
Iwaizumi— “Sometimes self care is slapping the shit out of someone but we have to ask consent for that first. Do NOT slap someone randomly. That’s called assault.”
Ushijima— "People are just assholes, sometimes. You gotta learn to work around that."
Tendou— "Do NOT binge eat ice cream. The tummyache isn't worth it."
Semi— "Yes, music is actually a great way to process your emotions."
Kita— "You can't always be good at something when you start— it's actually quite rare to be good at something you just started doing. The way to get good is to consistently practice, and then you'll start making progress."
Atsumu— "Don't be afraid to feel your feelings. That's what humans were put on this earth to do, to feel."
Osamu— "Food therapy counts as therapy, as long as it's in moderation."
Kuroo— "No matter where you are in life, as long as you were nice to someone once, you can probably extort that."
Kenma— "Do it for love, if nothing else."
Bokuto— “Stop wasting your time on people who don’t appreciate you for who you are. Your people will come to you. They’ll see you and think, I will love this.”
Akaashi— “Things change. People change. Plans can change. And that’s not always in your control. Give yourself some grace.”

Haikyuu boy headcanons: homework edition
Hinata— doesn’t do it. Tries and fails when told to. The only subject he doesn’t fail regularly is home ec and that’s cause his home life is one big home ec class.
Kageyama— tries so hard. Miwa used to sit with him to do it when they were younger and she taught him in volleyball terms so he’d pass. Unfortunately, once she left, so did his homework comprehension skills.
Daichi— very diligent and can understand most of his work. Once tried to cheat off of Suga for a math test in first year only to see that Suga had finished and was napping at his desk.
Suga— if the teacher isn’t collecting it, he doesn’t do it. Doesn’t study unless it’s the night before the test and he’s helplessly lost. The homework that he does do is either terribly wrong or 100% correct.
Oikawa— does all his homework and studies on Mondays when they don’t have practice. Isn’t bothered about his grades but likes how pretty 94s look on the paper.
Iwaizumi— studies, but isn’t so great on homework. Does it without complaint but is usually confused until someone (usually Oikawa) explains it to him. Hands in stuff late sometimes but the teachers don’t mind.
Ushijima— doesn’t know that not doing his homework is an option, so does all of it. Studies as needed.
Tendou— does all the homework but puts barely any effort into it. Studies when Ushijima studies. Gets a mix of As and Bs depending on how good he is at the subject naturally.
Semi— doesn’t study, but does all his homework and that’s enough studying for him. Doesn’t like people flaunting their high grades or worrying over getting 90s instead of 86s.
Kita— does all his homework and revises the subjects that don’t have homework every day. Studies more the night before a test. Consistently achieves high 90s but it’s expected so he doesn’t show it off.
Atsumu— so terrible at studying but manages to scrape by with A minuses. Everyone hates him in group projects because he has the leader vibe but hates doing the actual project.
Osamu— daydreams about food in class and has Suna give him the notes afterwards. Does his homework to make up for the lack of paying attention in class.
Kuroo— does his homework with Kenma and understands the class. If he doesn’t understand, he asks the teacher either during the lesson or after the period. Straight As.
Kenma— hates homework. Hates tests. Hates projects. Would rather die. Only does the ones that get marked and studies once in a blue moon or when Kuroo takes his PSP away from him.
Bokuto— surprisingly good with his homework habits other than the fact that he keeps losing the homework itself. Otherwise a good student.
Akaashi— schedules his crashouts around volleyball practice and his outings with Bokuto. Worries about grades sometimes, but then has periods of “why even give a shit”, then immediately regrets it the night before a project is due and then repeats the cycle.
Haikyuu boy headcanons: “moving out” edition
Hinata— surprisingly self sufficient. Cooks and cleans as easy as if it were breathing. Once he gets a schedule up, he’s on fire and no one can stop him. Is usually the host for smaller gatherings with his friends.
Kageyama— cannot cook to save his life. Calls Suga for help the first night in realizing he’s got no food and unfortunately Suga can’t cook either so he brings Daichi along, and Kageyama spends his first night with his friends. Hinata pouts when he finds out there was a party and he wasn’t invited.
Daichi— moves out the first chance he gets and into an apartment close to his university with Suga and starts up this roommates to lovers sort of deal. Cooks like nobody’s business. Sucks at laundry. First time he tried, he made all of his and Suga’s white shirts pink.
Suga— loves cooking. Everyone else does not love Suga cooking. Calls Daichi his “saviour” for knowing how to follow a recipe. Otherwise, he’s pretty eager to move out of his parents’ house and house hunted with Daichi for months before they settled on this one.
Oikawa— didn’t want to move out but was convinced once Iwaizumi told him that technically his parents couldn’t limit his volleyball hours anymore (a scam, since it was Iwaizumi limiting his volleyball hours now). Cleans to self soothe and gets scolded for it. Only knows how to operate a rice cooker.
Iwaizumi— didn’t necessarily want to move out but decided that he had to because he was an adult now and should experience new things anyway. Moved in with Oikawa specifically to monitor his behaviour and make sure he didn’t overwork himself or die of starvation. Totally not because they were best friends.
Ushijima— was already half moved out because of the Shiratorizawa dorms, so his own apartment seemed the natural next step. His family got him one and told him that once he gets stable footing, he’d be paying them back. Hosts gatherings at his place because it’s big enough but he’s not really the host. Usually it’s either Tendou or Semi.
Tendou— asked Ushijima whether he wanted to live together once they graduated when they started second year, but didn’t expect him to remember and go through with it. Bakes at disgusting hours in the morning. Sleeps during the day. Doesn’t do laundry.
Semi— lives alone in a studio apartment paid for by his dad. Self sufficient enough to survive but spends 90% of his time at Ushijima and Tendou’s place anyway. Eats their food. Though he does disappear into hyperfixation phases where he doesn’t emerge from his apartment for days at a time because he’s writing songs.
Kita— doesn’t move out of his house… ever. Lives at home for uni, lives at home when he works because his work is at home. Cooks and cleans on the daily schedule he made when he was ten years old and Does Not Deviate. Goes out once a week with his grandma for groceries.
Atsumu— cries when Osamu says he’s moving before realizing that he would be moving because of volleyball anyway. Takes surprisingly good care of himself because he “has to be at his best to do his best”. Frequents Onigiri Miya and crashes on Osamu’s couch three days out of the week.
Osamu— lives above the first Onigiri Miya location and obviously cooks for himself and Atsumu. Makes Atsumu do his laundry in exchange for free food. Calls their mother once a week and sends Suna embarrassing photos of Atsumu while he’s asleep.
Kuroo— moves out for college into a dorm for his freshman year but into an apartment with Kenma once Kenma graduates. Calls himself the house husband even though Kenma’s the one sitting at home all day and juggles his chemistry homework with making sure his best friend doesn’t starve.
Kenma— did not want to move out at first but once his company expanded he realized he needed his own space. Went house hunting with Suga after Suga’s HGTV phase and ended up picking the first one they went to. Forgets to eat so Kuroo makes him finish dinner before he gets to go back to work.
Bokuto— moves into MSBY dorms when he gets signed. Gets mopey within the week. Goes back to Tokyo to visit Akaashi whenever he gets the chance and does this so often that Akaashi’s parents just gave him a key and told him to go nuts.
Akaashi— lives at home during college but moves in with Bokuto once he graduates. Does majority of the disaster management in the house and persuades Bokuto not to try making soufflé at 2am. He doesn’t do any of the cooking and cleaning because Bokuto says that he’s busy enough and “needs to practice for when Agaashee becomes a famous busy author”.
Semi: hey, I’m curious, what did you get on the entrance exam?
Tendou: what did I get? Uhh… I think is was the lowest passing score
Semi: really?
Tendou: I think yeah? Not entirely sure
Semi: how’d you study for it?
Tendou: bold of you to assume I studied
Semi: ….what?
Tendou: i didn’t study at all for the entrance exam
Semi: THEN HOW DID YOU GET A PASSING SCORE?
Tendou: easy, I guessed
Semi: THATS IT!?
Tendou; intuition comes in handy when it’s a multiple choice test
Semi: and the stuff that wasn’t multiple choice?
Tendou: common sense
Semi: unbelievable— Ushiwaka are you hearing this?
Ushijima: yes, very proud of you Satori
Semi: YOUR NOT HELPING!
me WHENNNNN
who else has bad circulation and forever cold hands like tendou 🙌
to be honest, i don’t know. i feel like jeff goldblum could beat me in a fight but tendou’s face on jeff goldblum? the only beating i would get is psychological. nightmare fuel
