He’s probably my favorite character of all time, I’ve been drawing him since like fifth grade and have never really fallen out of the love with the series as a whole (though the brainworms are very strong currently LOL). Bro goes through the wringer all the time while also having to meet people just to say goodbye to them later on. He probably tries not to think about it too much heheh. But sometimes, some nights, I'd imagine he just kinda lays there and thinks about it for a while.
An unfortunate truth is that you can't save everyone. He definitely knows that all too well.
The good thing is he still has a lot of friends that stick by him and will allow him to be more vulnerable with them (whether he wants to or not lol).

So a bit of a follow up to my last question, but if Peach helps out Luigi in some stages, then would she use her glide or something like her showtime abilities?

Potentially yeah! She could also maybe get some add-ons to her parasol via E Gadd and his tinkering. But yeah functionally she could probably be like Gooigi in 3 where there’s rooms only she can complete and/or there’s rooms the two have to complete in tandem with each other. It would be very cool to see Nintendo have peach step even more into the hero role and away from the damsel in distress :D
In your Luigi's Mansion 4 concept, would Princess Peach be important? (I just really want more Princess Peach stuff, lol)
I haven’t really thought about Peach’s role to be honest heheh. First thing that comes to mind is her being the last one you save before you actually go to save Mario. However, alternatively, it could be interesting if she was one of the first you save and she worked with E Gadd and Luigi to think of ideas on how to save Mario. Maybe some levels would be designed around a sort of Peach gimmic where Peach and Luigi work together during parts like you do with Toads in 2 and 3 sometimes. There’s also the thought of where exactly 4 would take place. Maybe King Boo decides to take the fight to Luigi and haunts Peach’s castle so Peach knows the place the best and helps out that way. Perhaps I’ll sketch out some ideas sometime. There’s lots of possibilities! Thanks for asking!

What is your favourite Omori fanfic you've read?
I’ve never actually read an Omori fic tbh heh. I haven’t read fanfiction in a long time unless you count fan comics. I’ve read several good Omori comics tho! Zipsunz has some wonderful Omori comics as well as madnopost on instagram. And I’m still pretty proud of mine :)
What would be your reaction when Suntan (Sunny x Kel) is canon?
I doubt omocat will ever confirm any ships to be canon cuz part of the fun of it is interpreting the characters in your own way but it would be cute!
However, that being said, it only really makes sense to me if they’re given time before they’d be in a relationship cuz dear god these kids have been through some serious stuff and need time to heal before they can be in a healthy relationship lol. But even then, I don’t necessarily see them being in a romantic relationship. I love them being really close in some way and that can work platonically just fine. Romantic, platonic, whatever. They just make each other happy and that makes me happy :)

If I’m being honest, my style is an amalgamation of the styles of all my favorite cartoons haha. I adore cartoons and animation of all kinds and actually, relatively speaking, didn’t really develop my own style until recently (around when the pandemic was going on). The original Ben 10, Danny Phantom, Gravity Falls, Star vs the Forces of Evil, and Steven Universe all had a pretty big influence on my style. More recently, I discovered the artist @/madnopost on instagram (I think they have twitter as well) and I fell in love with their art style so I tried incorporating some of their style into mine too. If you’re an Omori fan I’m sure you’re aware of them haha. Definitely worth scrolling through their blog, everything they make is wonderful.

For those unaware, Tiberius is my dnd character! He’s a red Dragonborn (no I did not intentionally copy critical roll I’ve never listen to/watched it LMAO). He’s also a fighter but has left the ways of fighting to live a quieter life as a fisherman (well, until this campaign started haha).
9 is kinda funny actually cuz during a session our party stopped at “DcMonold’s” to get food. I forget what his order was tho lol. But I’d say probably just a burger and fries. He’d much rather eat somewhere else with fresher food.
For 16, salty ocean air for sure. Also a beach house and/or tackle shop interior scent

I do enjoy sashannarcy but Marcanne is my favorite. Something about it just makes me very happy :). Also Sasha as a third wheel can be very fun and silly lol.

Oooooo, that design for the core is super cool, I love them being a fucked up olm thing. I wonder, were they “created” already being an olm, or was some olm used as the body for them to inhabit when the core was created? I just noticed the note about their current host being an olm kicked out of proteus lol nvm …Do they still have a reason to use Marcy as a host like in canon, if they already have a host in that olm? Also, do they have a “true” form, or are they simply formless without a host?
Other questions, can all humans use magic if they know how in this au, or did the calamity stones unlock the ability in the girls when they absorbed their power? What kind of magic do you think Anne’s parents would learn, if they could?
So you mention Marbles the moth was made as a way to communicate with the core… does it have a mind of its own, or was Marcy unknowingly always communicating with the core when she uses Marbles? …Actually wait, I might be making an assumption there that Marbles would work like a Palisman from the Owl House. Is Marbles animate? Or is it just a staff shaped like a moth?
Thank you! I got inspired by a design for the Core I saw online that was olm shaped so I used that idea haha. This olm essentially sacrificed themself to become the body for this artificial god, its mind being absorbed into the core like all the rest. So the olm is pretty much their “True Form.” The Core uses Marcy’s body to begin its plans, as it can possess beings while still being asleep. Marcy falls victim to this because she finds Marbles and has the wit gem’s power embedded into her which ends up awakening Marbles.
As for humans using magic, if they had access to the ingredients in Amphibia they could, but the magic is unique to Amphibia and its resources. It’s like Luz in the Boiling Isles: she herself has no magic but she can use the magical resources around her. The stones are what gave the trio their powers, as the box was unused for a long enough time that a bit of their power will always be embedded in them until the box gets destroyed. If Anne’s parents could learn magic I think Mrs. Boonchuy would learn fire magic and Mr. Boonchuy would learn electric magic (I’ve actually been considering if they decide to go with her to Amphibia in this au cuz I always thought that’d be cool.)
Marbles does work similarly to how a Palisman does in the owl house, but it can’t detach from the staff. It gains its own personality when the wit gem’s power is infused into it, but this is also what gets the Core’s attention. I wrote some stuff down about Marbles here:

I love your designs for Anne on Earth! Her trying to hide it all makes sense. (I wonder how many times she had to pretend her horns were cosplay…)
So, since Anne and the Plantars do end up going back to LA like in canon, I assume that means they still have to charge the box… What does charging the stones mean for their magic in this au? Do they still lose their altered features after charging the stones (Marcy’s Antennae, Anne’s horns and glow, etc.) or are they permanently a part of them now?
Actually, that is another question that comes to mind… I notice Anne has a constant blue glow to her hair and eyes in your design, but Marcy and Sasha seem to lack a similar glow, and Sasha doesn’t seem to have any changes to her appearance at all (outside of her berserk mode) Is there a reason for that? Just different ways of expressing the power or?
And last question: you mentioned that Andrias is known to be a tyrant in this au, but is really reclusive and not doing much right now… can you elaborate on that? Because that sounds like a super interesting part of the au. Like, what led to him being known as a tyrant? How does he maintain his power as King as a recluse when he’s so disliked? What caused him to go down a different route than Canon?
(Limiting myself to three questions at a time because I’d be here all day if I tried to ask all the questions I have at once haha)
That’s something I have to think about but more about tbh heheh. I think they’d keep the physical attributes they gained but their magic would be weaker when the stones get charged.
Yeah that’s mostly just their powers expressing themselves in different ways. Anne wears her heart on her sleeve so her magic is more visible (and her magic is quite powerful.) Marcy’s magic is largely concentrated in Marbles (her staff) as almost an entirely separate entity. And Sasha’s is hidden away until she needs it most, her rage, in which it presents itself fully (glowy hair, eyes, etc.) And that’s also partially me referencing what each of their betas looked like. Some of Anne’s early designs showed her with blue hair so I incorporated that partially into my design.
And he’s what I got for Andrias so far: He became incredibly bitter after Barrel and Lief left and never really lost that. He would annihilate anyone who opposed him, and he had access to technology no one else really did, so people feared him. He’s thrown out many of his closest allies within the castle, Olivia among them. So many, in fact, that they formed their own small town on the outskirts of Newtopia. This town is near where Marcy first lands, actually, as here she didn’t land inside the confines of Newtopia. Without the box, much of Andrias’ technology couldn’t work anymore, so he lost much of his interest in it (or so it seems, anyways.) He never gets that connection with Marcy that softens him back up. However, when he finds out about the trio of humans with magical powers, he takes it upon himself to find and kill them. He may have a run in with Sasha that brings back a side of him that’s more merciful (even if it is largely a facade so he can backstab her later.)
Andrias is mostly a recluse due to being head of a cult that still follows the Core. He still runs the kingdom, he just has other newts carry out his orders for the most part (they have to display undivided loyalty to him or he’ll toss them out of the city like he did with Olivia.) But most of the time he is trying to regain contact with the Core and do what he can to reawaken it. More Core lore and old art here:

To answer your questions:
Anne’s day to day is pretty similar to the original series, typical shenanigans with Sprig and Polly and gripes with hop pop eventually coming to her seeing the, as family. It just involves more magic-y stuff and Anne practicing her powers. She does help the plantars with the crops for sure, probably inadvertently causing some shenanigans as she’s learning how to control her magic.
The rest of Wartwood resembles what a small town in the woods might look like in dnd, so pretty similar to what it looks like already. Each family typically specializes in a specific kind of magic that corresponds to what the family does, like Maddie’s family specializes in fire magic to assist with their baking (Maddie, however, dabbles in all sorts of magic cuz that’s just who she is lol.)
With how often she bonks her head in the original series, she bonks her horns even more LMAO. It definitely takes time for her to get used to the extra height.
Yes, Anne does come back to earth with her powers. It takes time for Anne to actually go back home because she panics about what her parents will think about the changes and she has no idea how to explain everything. The Plantars do their best to calm her down and assure her that everything will work out. For a while she wears a disguise of sorts to try to hide her different traits for a bit (she does tell her parents pretty much right away) but after an incident, likely with Cloak-bot, she ditches the disguise and embraces her magic aspects. More old art to show this:

My AU is a sort of… fantasy AU I suppose? It’s hard to give it a concrete a name since amphibia is already pretty fantastical haha. But it takes more inspiration from some of the beta designs and incorporates the magic of the stones (and magic in general) into daily life. For example, the Plantars specialize in Druid magic to help their crops grow.
This is why Anne’s hair has blue in it: the magic from the Heart gem shows itself much more though her. Also there’s an early design where Anne’s hair was full-on blue like Hilda lol. Each of the trio has magic that they can use. Anne starts to practice hers when she arrives with the Plantars and finds her magic mostly has to do with plant life. Sasha can enter a barbarian-like rage when she gets emotional and this leads to conflict later. Marcy ends up finding a magic staff of sorts with a moth on the end in the woods that she can use to cast magic. It can also speak to her for Lore Reasons :)
I don’t really have a concrete story in place, mostly just bits and pieces. It follows most of the main general arcs the original series has with some key differences. Andrias is known to be a tyrant from the start but he’s also a total recluse. No one has seen him in years so it’s been relatively peaceful (save for the toads and their barbaric ways. They essentially do Andrias’ job for him.) The Core is an artificial god created when the stones were first gifted to the people of Amphibia. The deity had to step in when it got too powerful and, when it was unable to destroy it, cursed the Core to sleep forever. But now that the stones’ power is in the three human girls, the Core begins to stir, especially when Marcy finds that staff in the woods.

So I only.played a little bit of Omori but from what I did play it's very similar to In Stats And Time, an indie game which came out last year. I just finished it like 30 minutes ago and it completely blew me away everything about it is fantastic. insanely highly recommend and if you want me to give you a brief summary or anything I can later.
