hc : when the dead poets go to pride, Nuwanda is dressed like the bi flag threw up on him, and he waves a genderqueer flag. Neil has simply a white shirt with some rainbow stripes. also, they had to convince Todd to wear a rainbow on his cheek. It’s nuwanda that did his make up, since he became really good at it.

its Mr. Keating that takes them to pride, and they all have the time of their lives.

also, this is in an AU where Keatings adopted Neil.

hey guys! so to celebrate pride month I would love to see some dead poets/anderperry headcanons! also, i’d love some movie recs. thanks for following and i love you all

the first time i watched this scene i found it funny when todd thew up but now when i watch i get it... this scene genuinely makes me feel sick to my stomach in the most heart aching gut wrenching way 

this sequence absolutely breaks me bc todd was taking in the beautiful scenery and wanted to share the moment with neil out of habit but then he turns around, searches through the dps members and remembers neil is gone now and becomes physically sick realizing he’s lost his best friend and lover... this seems like a basic insight of the film but i didn’t understand the emotional depth of the scene until my second watch

once again... im sorry but i had to do it 

i wholeheartedly believe that neil’s death ruined todd and that he never would have recovered. he spent the rest of his life with his guard up being haunted by what neil did and was never able to fully trust anyone ever again

neil’s death would’ve caused most if not all of todd’s character development  throughout the film to be reverted, in this essay i will–

i think the reason i find charlie x todd so interesting is bc it would be the type of relationship where the roles get reversed. todd is this sweet, gentle person and charlie is an arrogant son of a bitch, but with each other todd turns charlie into a total melt while charlie brings out todds dominant side and they both LOVE it. they love the effect they have on one other. 

charlie loves the way that todd comes out of his shell and takes charge as soon as they get alone and how nobody else gets to see todd like that, its just for him. todd loves the way he can have charlie completely at his mercy and how nobody else has ever had that effect on him.
