no one gafs but like the jason is boring argument genuinely pisses me off. like yeah when i first read HoO at like 11 i was all booo not my protagonist booo he has no personality booo he's a blank slate but after reading the burning maze a year or two later i was sad when he died because i had only just realized how much he contributed to the series. JASON BEING "BORING" WAS LITERALLY THE POINT. mf was raised by WOLVES. he'd been at camp jupiter p much his whole life and a strict rule follower because that's all he's known. he's supposed to be the antithesis of percy, the entire point of jason was learning how to be human in a sense. jason was told how to act and feel his entire life and his character arc is learning that it's okay to not be perfect. he had been living out this robotic life of things he's supposed to do because of what his lineage is and what that's supposed to mean for someone like him. jason being able to choose is the thing that makes his so called blank slate character interesting, he's no longer a blank slate but a /person/ with feelings and emotions. like genuinely why do you think it's JASON who tells apollo to "REMEMBER WHAT ITS LIKE TO BE HUMAN" if/when he gets back to olympus.

like... this is just so random. it doesn't fit. i don't like this. if ever after high didn't solely exist to market dolls, these are the students that i can see playing in the dragon games. but first, i wanna start with an explanation of why i'm removing who i'm removing from the lineup

the o'hair twins: now first of all, holly has expressed nothing but wanting to follow her destiny, which very much includes damselling and distressing. plus that hair is a fire hazard ;-; as for poppy, when i first watched dragon games i deadass thought that the twins ONLY got armour because they were just modelling what everyone else would get, and they wouldn't take part. especially because i think she'd be more concerned with maintaining the integrity of the armour and doing routine checks just making sure that a piece of equipment wouldn't become faulty and responsible for one of her friends or classmates getting injured

I still don't understand why so many people believe that it was one-sided on John's part. Paul is the one who has said the most insane things about John, even more than the other way around: "He was a delicous boy, a delicious broth of a boy", "I came to love his beery breath. And I loved John", "When I saw him I thought "He looks good, I wouldn't mind being in a group with him", "John had beautiful hands", "In the film [Get Back], there he is in a massive close-up. I can study everything about him", "I'm often thinking of him. I dream of him" , "If I'm going to see a face in a a painting, it's highly likely to be John's", "I would hug him forever because that's the depth of my feeling for him", "Here Today is a love song to John", "He is always there in my being...in my soul", "It's cute for me to think of me and John squeezed together in a little single bed". Not to mention the fact that he has a calendar with photos of John, a 6 FOOT TALL picture of him and John, buys and collects drawings and writings made by John and puts them on his wall, and even GOT MARRIED on John's birthday. GOJO SATORU is a frigid blast of cold air during a warm summer day.
It’s surprising, considering his typical characterisation. People, yourself included, likened him to the sun. Bright and blinding. That’s how the pillar of the Jujutsu world should be, they’d say. He’s the epitome of sorcery. The honored one, they’d praise.
Just to be clear, you thought of him as the sun for entirely different reasons. Reasons that you weren’t about to go into too detail about. But just as a tiny, small little hint: It had to do with his body temperature. And you were currently being quickly betrayed by what you once thought was fact.

“Yeah,” you spit at him. Half in betrayal and half in fascination, you huff, gripping his elbows to keep him still as you tuck your body against him, forcing his technique over you with your own.
