Ok. I finished House's Head/Wilson's Heart last night. I have thoughts. *****S4 and slight S5 spoilers*****
Wilson's grief is so hard to watch. Amber and Wilson's last moments together broke me.
But holy shit, can we talk about the pain House is going through?
First of all, why was House alone in a bar getting plastered? Because he was already struggling that hard to deal with his Wilson Time being cut in half. Why didn't he just drink at home? Because he wanted to create a situation where his keys would be taken, and Wilson would HAVE to come and be with him, even just for the duration of a drive home. He couldn't bear to go even one more evening without him.
Aside from that, the fact that Amber and House are so similar; House was basically watching what he and Wilson's life could have looked like if he was born a woman.
( When I saw the girl looked just like me / And it broke my heart / The lengths you went to hold me / To get to have me - Should've Been Me by Mitski)
The thing is though, House didn't even hesitate to put his life and brain on the line, just so that Wilson could have a chance to be happy with his girlfriend. Not for Wilson to be with House, but for him to be happy, with or without him.
And it's not his leg we're talking about here. We've already got a glimpse of how devastating it would be for House to lose his leg. But for him to survive the procedure, and lose his BRAIN? To lose his puzzles? To lose the one thing that makes him him? That, to me, is a far bigger sacrifice than his life. House was willing to live the rest of his life confused and mentally disabled, never able to diagnose anyone again, if it meant Wilson could be happy.
On the Heaven Bus with Amber, House straight up admits that he'd rather die than have Wilson hate him. He fears losing him more than he fears death itself. He would rather die thinking Wilson loves him, than live for a second in a world where he doesn't.
Now imagine how it feels to get off the bus and head back to a place that could contain his absolute worst fear, a fear worse than death.
And it comes true.
Not only does Wilson hate House, not only does he leave him, he tells him that their friendship all along was never real. Not only does he deny the friendship that House stays alive for, he denies the friendship that House had been staying alive for all those years. In that moment, he not only denies his sacrifice, he denies the thousands and thousands of moments of vulnerability and sacrifice before that.
House stands there, silent and motionless, because he can't actually comprehend it. His mind won't let him. He doesn't get upset or angry, because it hasn't actually registered in his head. It's not true.
He sits on the floor of Wilson's empty office, he keeps going back to the last place he saw Wilson, because he can't even comprehend that he's not there anymore. For him to even accept that fact, is an unimaginable Hell.
House would have mangled his body and destroyed his soul for Wilson's happiness, and he doesn't even acknowledge it.
Amber's death is sad, but at least Wilson was there for her in death. She knew she was loved when she died. House nearly died multiple times, and instead wakes up to hatred.
I know how grief can change you, so I understand why Wilson left. House and Wilson are my favourite dynamic in the show, but a part of me wants House to just walk away too for his own sake. It hurts to see him still cling on to Wilson when he's so ungrateful.
House seems like the most arrogant and selfish person on the show, but in reality he's completely selfless.

5 ways to do a Minecraft Movie that doesn’t suck:
1. Do an adaptation of Max Brooks: The Island. This is already a fascinating retelling of what waking up in Minecraft would be like and it was written by the guy who wrote World War Z! I genuinely don’t know why they didn’t do this in the first place because Jack Black is the guy who read the audiobook! It’s so obvious it’s painful!
2. If you must have “real people in Minecraft” then have them wake up there without knowing how they got there. Steve tells them if they defeat the Ender Dragon the portal that opens after will take them home. Boom. Now your entire plot is your characters working towards defeating the dragon and going home. You still get the nether and piglins. You still get creepers and villages and maybe even raids. You get the whole gauntlet of what Minecraft offers.
3. Do it Wall-E and Cast Away style. Guy wakes up in Minecraft, does not know how or why he’s there. Most of the action is conveyed entirely through pantomime, with one guy. He’s alone in Minecraft and he needs to survive. The film is him struggling as he comes to grips with the weird mechanics of the world such as floating trees and creepers.
4. Do it as a semi-horror movie. Have the majority of the day segments be about a guy trying to prepare, have the nights be horror filled encounters where each day there’s a new terror he’s not familiar with. Culminate with him slowly getting worse and worse off until he finds a village. Have him get taken in and brought back to health. He decides to defend the village, and the final battle is him putting his survival skills and knowledge to the test against a very aggressive raid.
5. Literally just animate Minecraft Story Mode. Keep it animated all the way through. It’s just Story Mode but with better graphics and more concise editing. Oh wait! That’s already being done now! It’s called “Block by Block: The Amulet” and it’s going to be premiering on YouTube in 2025 and it’s being made by fans of the game!
…
And those are just the first 5 I literally thought up while in my car waiting to pick up food. This is not a hard concept. Like Minecraft offers up SO MANY potential ideas for stories. Why did they pick the worst way to do this?
This was funnier in my head 😭Happy Twisters release day 🤠🌪️
WOOO!!! Finally got my Carnival bunnydoll drawings done!!!

What the heck did that reevaluation do to him
Easter egg for office workers: if you go onto Excel and press ctrl+left, then ctrl+down, you will reach cell XFD1048576. If you put a dot in there, then ctrl+A and fill every cell in black, you can then print 34 million black pages from your office printer and get fired
Since we're all talking about Minecraft because of the Minecraft movie, I thought it would be nice if we all made a list of minecraft things to watch. So here,
Minecraft Story Mode remaster (not out yet, go watch the teaser and support it tho!)
Minecraft Story Mode (SpottinGames has walkthroughs of both seasons separate as both Male Jesse (season 1, season 2) and Female Jesse (season 1, season2). There are also a bunch of other no commentary playthroughs out there. I just chose this one because it offers both Male and Female Jesse).
Animation Vs Minecraft (by Alan Becker. There is the old stand alone video, which actually serves as episode 1 and the rest of the series (season 1, season 2, season 3). It's really good, both in terms of animation and story, and uses minecraft in a creative way).
Black Friday is such a joke nowadays. “Don’t miss out on 30% off” don’t piss me the fuck off. People used to hit each other over the head for a microwave that’s how low the prices were. People literally died. We used to be a country
I will Not Stand for bayverse Optimus Prime slander in this house not one bit.
That mech has all the signs of what I call "ugly PTSD" and he's most definitely not being treated for it and exactly nobody around him acknowledges it.
It's rather easy to see exactly why he gets more violent as the pentology goes on, because time and time again people are pushing his moral boundaries. More and more of his friends die, and he's gradually becoming more and more desensitized to death. Hell, he legitimately died for almost an entire movie and was resurrected in the middle of a major battle. The human government, which does at first present as a threat, afterwards consistently needles the autobots and makes it rather clear that "hey yeah we will betray you the very second we consider you not useful enough". And he goddamn tries to be at least polite to them, even in Darkside of the moon where they not only keep very important secrets for them but at the end decide to go on a full ass hunt. Most of the damage to the human cities is honestly because that's where the Decepticons decided to drag the autobots to, and something something purposeful choosing of battlefield because Megatron knew that would fuck with Optimus and that that's where he could cause the most damage. It's why in the real world military leaders choose to hit the most populated areas in enemy territory, because it's tearing into vital places. The great Cybertronian war we see in the bayverse films is a dirty and rough war that's clearly caused so much horrors on every front, and Optimus tries (and fails) to play damage control.
In the beginning of AoE? There's a reason that the instant he wakes up, he goes full fight mode because he can't run. He's absolutely fucking terrified that he'll die like his friends, and he's trapped in a very small space. Even as the movie progresses and he's become attached to these three humans, the other autobots we meet deride him for this because they have very good reason to mistrust the humans the same way they mistrusted the Decepticons. Hell, I'd argue he has less reason because of how we see the humans straight up torture and experiment on the Cybertronians they get a hold of. They quite literally bring back one of there greatest enemies and nearly end up destroying the whole planet with the cyberforming seed.
Nemesis Prime we see in the last knight? That shit was inevitable. He wasn't just manipulated by Quintessa or tortured by Quintessa. She straight up psychologically broke him down to his core and rebuilt him to her liking for her goal. Now being honest that last movie was fairly ehhhhh and the quest in it was pretty human based, but when we see Optimus broke out of his Nemesis persona I'd argue that he's not the same Optimus we see in the first movie, hell not even the same mech we saw in AoE. At the end of the movie, he has been through hell and back several times and just. Doesn't know what to do. The ending of that movie is messy as hell and leaves us on a major cliffhanger and the earth is irrevocably changed. But, just because he isn't Nemesis anymore doesn't mean he's magically fixed.
