- You two were probably at a little gathering/party at Square Grimmaurd with some members of the order. It was something totally informal just to release some stress caused by the war. At first, Alastor didn't wanted to come, but you and Tonks asked. And he really couldn't say no to the both of you.

- You decided to drink because... Why not ?? This wasn't a common occurrence and it seems the best idea to have fun.

- After a few beers with Tonks you started to feel a bit dizzy but you were fine. That's when Sirius came with this bottle. You can't remember exactly what is was, but it was good, and strong. VERY strong.

- Two hours later you approached Moody who was sitting alone in a corner, looking at everyone having fun with a visibly annoyed face. Your smile and your shaky steps gave him all the information he needed: You were drunk.

- He didn't like it. In that state, you were vulnerable. What if something happened, or if someone wanted to take advantage of you ??

- You asked him how he was doing and why he was all alone. Precisely, you asked "Why an handsome man like you doesn't have company?". It made him blush a bit. Flustered he tried to dismiss you. But as you put a hand on his arm and gave him a flirty look while pleading to stay with him, all his intentions of pushing you away were ruined.

- Is it the surprise being touched, or because it's by you, but he didn't immediately hex you to make you stop. He didn't do it either when so started to drunkly flirt with him. And just scowled to ask if it was some kind of joke.

"A joke ? Nah I just want the most handsome auror for myself!"

- You giggled and smiled. And that's when you decided to sit on his lap, too drunk to think correctly.

"I really want you, Alastor... Am I not pretty enough?"

"It's not the question. You shouldn't be here with me. Go have fun instead of staying with an old war dog like me." He pretended to be mad, only to secretly love this attention.

"But I want to be with you..."

You snuggled your face in the crook of his neck, so you couldn't see his face becoming red. He started to stroke your hairs softly.

"Oh sweetheart... You'll be the dead of me, you know that ?"

- He stayed with you for a moment, before he realized that you felt asleep. With a spell, he made you levitate and brings you to your room, tucking you in. With a last touch of your cheek, he left you to have a good night sleep.
