Shakespere plays badly described in one sentence:
Romeo And Juliet - Your "Love had different plans" writing excuse ended with a restraining order and two dead kids
Macbeth - Girlboss uses her sopping pathetic wet dog of a husband to gain political power, ends horribly.
Hamlet - Pathetic emo boy destroys career of his creepy uncle
Titus Andronicus - It's a soap opera because after you watch it you feel the need to wash yourself thoroughly
The Tempest - One man's real person ship fic saves the government from corruption
Merchant Of Venice - The way to make your play where the main villain is a jewish person portraying every negative stereotype is by making the main christian characters the biggest pricks in existance
Twelfth Night - Shakespeare was a COWARD for not making the woman marry the sister and the man marry the brother.
Othello - A commentary on racism slightly ruined by the fact that the main villain shares a name with a cartoon disney parrot

Can we address the damage that Conclave 2024 did to this website's understanding of the catholic church??? Cause like now people are shocked that the new pope is not woke and covered up a pedophile. And I'm like yeah this is the catholic church. But what would you know. You're all a bunch of protestants anyways. why do you even care about the pope??
Whatever our souls are made of, his and mine are the same.

Should be laid up with someone's daughter playing with her hair right now instead of whatever this is

rhaenyra embodies love is the death of duty
alicent embodies duty is the death of love
and this is why they are the ultimate yin/yang tragedy. they complete each other and oppose each other beautifully.
More Star Wars shit
ppl think pride and prejudice is the perfect love story when really it’s just the perfect love story for people with commitment issues… rejecting someone bc u have reservations which are half legit and half made up to avoid the fact that u liked them? realising very soon afterwards that u Made A Big Mistake? but then that person is 1. still into u and 2. actually worked on the flaws u called out?? lizzie bennett is living the dream
nobody can be as happy as james potter was when lily evans said that she loved him.
nobody can be as happy as sirius black was when fleamont potter called him his son.
nobody can be as happy as remus lupin was when his friends accepted him as who he was.
nobody can be as happy as peter pettigrew was when the marauders rescued him from a bully and said that he was as much of a marauder as they were.
nobody can be as happy as the marauders were in the presence of each other.
i’ll sell my soul to see them happy again.
So I have this headcanon where whenever in the black house whenever Sirius laughed at serious moments or pulled pranks he was subjected to dark magic.
Naturally 7 year old Sirius was a rebel and initially it was just punishments like getting slapped, not being given food for a day or making him work but gradually the magic became darker.
At one point naïve Sirius Black says in front of his mother that he finds Gryffindor cool too and doesn’t get why they hate it and his punishment is crucio. Now they use crucio every time he does something minutely wrong and it leaves scars.
Walburga, being the manipulative bitch she is tells him “we would never hurt you. We do this for your welfare. Every parent does this for their child. You should be proud of those scars- they are a sign of your good upbringing and bravery.”
Can you imagine small, quirky and innocent 11 year old Sirius Black believing that those things are actually true?
Can you imagine 11 year old Sirius Black seeing Remus Lupin with all his scars and believing in his mother even more?
Can you imagine 11 year old Sirius Black reaching the Gryffindor Dormitory and removing his shirt and revealing all his scars and telling the others how brave he is?
Can you imagine James, Peter and Remus being horrified and telling Sirius that this is not actually how it works?
Can you imagine the look on Sirius Black’s face like he has been told his whole life was a lie?
Can you imagine Sirius Black crying when he receives a howler from his parents for being sorted in Gryffindor whereas Remus, Peter and James receive cakes and sweets and gifts and appreciation letters?
Can you imagine James potter asking his mother to send Sirius an appreciation letter and cakes?
Can you imagine Peter offering all his chocolates and gifts to Sirius and gifting him dung bombs?
Can you imagine Remus crawling into Sirius’s bed and calming him down?
Can you imagine the marauders being amazing and caring friends?
BECAUSE I CERTAINLY CAN!
“Anything is possible.”
