Sleep Paralysis Symptoms
Unable to move
Pressure on chest
Sinking sensation into the mattress
Difficulty breathing
Hallucinations (visual and auditory) (optional)
During SP, everything you hear or see is a hallucination. Your brain, still in the REM sleep phase, produces images related to your dreams. These hallucinations can manifest based on your thoughts, as your subconscious is particularly receptive in this state. The sensation of suffocation is simply due to the natural relaxation of your diaphragm during sleep.
SP Tips
Stay Calm: Keep neutral or positive thoughts to prevent worsening sensations.
Stabilize: Stay still, breathe calmly, and focus on your goal.
đ How to astral project from SP
Simply set the intention to astral project and imagine yourself separating from your physical body by creating as vivid an image as possible of your astral body beside your bed, without moving. Engage all your senses to activate your astral vision. Focus your thoughts to mentally picture yourself detaching from your physical body.
â At the same time, you can use one of these methods:
Rolling Method: Visualize yourself rolling out of your body. Rope Technique: Imagine a rope in front of you and picture yourself pulling up to "hoist" out of your body. Floating Sensation: Imagine floating above your body. Hammock Method: Picture yourself in a hammock, gently swaying until you feel yourself separating from your body.
đ How to lucid dream from SP
Set the intention to have a lucid dream, then:
Keep your eyes closed.
Focus on the colors and shapes that appear behind your eyelids, known as hypnagogic images.
Visualize a specific scene (for example, walking on a beach) and engage all your senses in the visualization
Since the brain cannot distinguish between imagination and reality, it will start to construct a dream based on this focus. The key is to maintain your attention without getting distracted to enter the dreaming state.

Manifesting is instantly
âBut how? I just decide it and i doesnât see it in front of meâ
If you are questioning this, then you still don't understand. Let me explain this to you:
Manifesting is instantaneous in your 4D, which is your consciousnessâthe place where all creation happens. The moment you assume something as true in your mind, it is done. 3D, being a reflection of your consciousness, adjusts itself to physically manifest what you have already created internally. The time it takes for the 3D to reflect it is not a âdelay,â but rather reality adjusting to your new perception.
The thing is, 3D is like a mirror: it cannot show you anything other than what you are âreflectingâ in your 4D. If you are looking to 3D for immediate signs, it shows that you are still in a state of doubt, not certainty.
The key is to persist in the feeling that it is already yours, even before you see it in 3D. When you don't have to "see it to believe it," the reflection in the external world appears naturally, because it cannot resist your dominant state of consciousness.
YOU ARE NOT REQUIRED TO DO THIS, JUST A TIP*
Okay. You have tried hundreds of methods (no, you haven't really tried them), you have tried them many times (no, you still haven't), you have put them off, maybe you have actually tried them and they didn't work, you haven't applied what you saw. You find yourself focused on 3D.
You know, the secret to awakening pure consciousness is to take the focus off of 3D.
So do this; Make yourself sleepy. Be extremely sleepy. There is a position you absolutely cannot fall asleep in. Go there (to prevent falling asleep) Say "I am pure consciousness." Pure consciousness has awakened. Because you are sleepy. Your subconscious mind is open to suggestion. Your focus is not on 3D.
CLOSE TUMBLR NOW AND LIVE YOUR DREAMS!
i wrote this post basically to explain three different states of consciousness. the awake state, sleep state, and pure consciousness. you can't force yourself to become neither.
we all know that we can't force ourselves to sleep, however we can do things that can help us slip into the sleep state. just as we can't force ourselves to sleep, we can't force ourselves to induce pure consciousness. we can do things that can help us slip into the pure state of consciousness, but we can't force our states of consciousness to switch to the other. people may say "delta waves is the cheat-code to enter the void" but it's not. delta waves is a tool, and tools are meant to help us.
aside from that, and for the centillionth time, the void state is not an actual void you're transporting yourself into. it's not a void outside of you, nor a void inside of you. now hear me out again. it is not a void literally inside of you. it is not a place. you're not being transported or travelling anywhere. you're not travelling into your mind. it is simply awareness. what you are aware and not aware of.
when you are pure consciousness, you aren't aware of anything happening in the 3d, cuz your focus was away from the 3d. when we're pure consciousness, our mind is active cuz our focus is only on our thoughts cuz we are thinking, or our focus is only on our daydreams cuz we are daydreaming, or whatever our inner voice (the one you're probably using to read this post) is saying. we are being aware of our 4d.
everything is awareness. whatever you place your awareness (focus) on, will manifest the state of consciousness you'll be experiencing.
when you think of pure consciousness as an actual void that'll manifest all your desires instantly, and not a state of consciousness where you're only aware of your 4d, you will find yourself jumping from method to method, cuz you're seeing pure consciousness for something it's not. you think too highly of a state of consciousness.
when you're awake, is the word 'awake' constantly on your mind before you wake up? do you try your hardest to wake up? do you stress about being able to wake up? do you become anxious by the thought of waking up?
how about when you're asleep? is the word 'sleep' constantly in your mind before you sleep? do you try your hardest to be able to sleep? do you stress about being able to sleep? do you become anxious by the thought of sleeping?
so what's the actual difference with pure consciousness? you can manifest while you're awake, and you can manifest while you're asleep. you can manifest in literally any state of consciousness... so what's the actual difference?
when y'all understand that awake, asleep, and pure consciousness are all on the same level, then you'll realise that all the mental gymnastics y'all like to perform were for nothing. y'all don't see sleeping nor being awake as all that... do the same with pure consciousness.
and stop thinking too hard about pure consciousness too! đđ©·
ooohh..!
You already are. The physical manifestation is secondary to the inner shift that's already occurred. By assuming and knowing, youâve essentially created a new reality within yourself. It is done. It is a part of your daily life. Your mind is your true reality.
Law of Assumption. Reality Creation. Shifting. Manifesting.
Whatever the fuck you want to call it, you need to know that as the creator and the center of your youniverse, you deadass have it already. Anything. I mean anything. You want a new house? Babe you are reading this from your new kitchen. You want a new car? You literally just left the grocery store and everyone was asking you how much money you spent on it. $250K isnât the craziest amount to pay for a car so why were they all freaking out?? You want an sp?? Didnât they just finish giving you that gwak gawkâ My point is⊠Everything is done now. Itâs your choice to believe that it isnât that allows that illusion to appear before you. Reality has to follow your rules because reality is you.Â
If you keep asking questions, reality will question you. Itâs not hard, itâs a change in mindset. Acknowledging that what you âwishâ to experience is no longer a wish but a part of your life. Change the way you speak about your life starting now.Â
âOh but can I get my sp back even though theyââÂ
Not unless you say you can boo. Not unless you know they are peaking over your shoulder trying to read what youâre seeing on your screen right now.Â
âOh but I want go to my dream university and I donât know if IââÂ
Please be so fr. Arenât you supposed to go to a dorm party later tonight?
You donât hope and pray your Tumblr account is still active as soon as you leave the app. You have this inner knowing itâs still there and will âshow upâ next time you want to doom scroll. So why is it different for your âdesiresâ now? How can you desire something you already have? Do you desire the skill to read when you already know how to????
It is easy when you say it is. When you know your words arenât going into some void to never return. When you know that God is speaking and when God speaks, everybody gets in place and acts accordingly. The words are being reflected back to you the instant you stand firm in what you are now experiencing.Â
If you believe/say nothing is working, why are you then upset nothing is working? You said it and you are right.Â
Ultimate: End of All Seeking
This took me hours, so I cannot imagine how long it should have taken her to write such detailed answers when only to catalogue them took forever. I did it mostly for myself so I could always come back to the response I needed and not search through 200+ posts. But I figured since I spent so long on it I might as well share. There's nothing, truly, that she hasn't given an answer for. I phrased the links as questions so that they could be easily accessible.
First, LEGEND TO UNDERSTAND TERMS.
For those who are sad she left, so am I. I miss her too, but I also realize why she left. There was nothing more to say, she's said it all, we just need to listen, trust, and live in accordance with what we've found. Wish you all the best on your journey.
Here's more questions answered, if you hadn't found yours in this list. I hit the limit on links in a single post so I had to make a separate one.
but trust me, pure consciousness is easy to be.
get comfortable, relax, and forget about the future/let go of expectations and think like you normally would. daydream like you normally would. after some time, you will realise that it's suddenly more peaceful than usual, it's just you and your thoughts and you can't hear anything other than your voice, you can't see the usual galaxy-kaleidoscopic pattern you usually see behind your eyelids, and you won't feel anything... that happens when you cease your attention on your body and on your surrounding, and your attention is only on your thoughts/daydreams. you will manifest the state of pure consciousness, and you will not be in the awake state until you shift your attention to your physical senses. đ©·
Words used alternatively- Pure consciousness/Turiya/Void.
Reaching the Turiya state (the "fourth state of consciousness") through sleep is a profound spiritual practice rooted in many traditions, including Vedanta and Tantra. Turiya is a state of pure awareness beyond the three conventional states of waking (jagrat), dreaming (svapna), and deep sleep (sushupti). It represents transcendence and connection to universal consciousnessâthe formless, eternal aspect of reality.
Turiya is the underlying state of wakefulness, dream state and deep sleep. Experienced yogis and meditators find it easy to transition from wakefulness and Turiya. For the rest of us, transitioning from the other two states is easier.
In sleep, Turiya can be accessed by cultivating awareness during the transitional states of dreaming and deep sleep phases, where ordinary consciousness is dissolved but awareness remains. Here's a detailed explanation of how to use sleep as a pathway to Turiya:
1. Waking, Dreaming, and Deep Sleep as Portals:
In waking (jagrat), the mind is tied to the external world. In dreaming (svapna), the mind is absorbed in internal projections. In deep sleep (sushupti), the ego and mind dissolve, but there is no awareness. Turiya exists as the witness behind all these states, observing without being bound by them.
2. Sleep as a Natural Entryway:
Sleep provides a fertile ground to access Turiya because the mental activity reduces significantly, and the ego temporarily dissolves. With training, awareness can be sustained during the transitional phases and deep sleep.
3. Awareness as the Key:
The critical difference between ordinary deep sleep and reaching Turiya is awareness. Normally, in deep sleep, consciousness is inactive. To experience Turiya, one must retain awareness as they transition into and through sleep.
1. Preparation Before Sleep:
Meditation: Before lying down, meditate to calm the mind and detach from sensory distractions. Focus on your breath or a mantra to center your awareness.
Intention Setting (Sankalpa): Set a clear intention to remain aware as you fall asleep. A simple affirmation like, "I will remain aware as I drift into sleep and beyond" can help.
Body Relaxation: Practice body awareness or progressive muscle relaxation to ease tension. This creates the foundation for effortless transition into subtle states.
2. During the Hypnagogic State (Between Waking and Sleep):
Observe the shifting mental states as you fall asleep. Be a witness to the random images, thoughts, or sensations without becoming attached to them.
Focus on a mantra, breath, or inner sound (nada). This acts as an anchor for your awareness.
Stay relaxed but vigilant, avoiding active engagement with any arising mental content. The goal is to observe without being drawn into dreams.
3. Cultivating Awareness in Dreaming:
Practice lucid dreaming techniques. By becoming aware in your dreams, you begin to dissolve the boundaries between dream consciousness and the witnessing state of Turiya.
If you become aware that you are dreaming, remind yourself that you are the witness of the dream. This awareness is a step toward accessing Turiya. Follow one of these.
4. Maintaining Awareness in Deep Sleep:
In deep sleep, there are no thoughts, forms, or perceptionsâonly pure stillness. To reach Turiya, the goal is to remain aware during this formless state. When people say they "woke up" in void, this is what they mean.
5. Practice Witnessing the Transitions:
Pay attention to the gap between wakefulness and sleep, between dreams and deep sleep, and between sleep and wake fullness. These gaps are portals where the ego dissolves, and pure awareness/void can be glimpsed.
1. Falling Asleep Completely (Losing Awareness):
Solution: Strengthen your practice of mindfulness during the day. The more aware you are in daily life, the easier it becomes to retain awareness during sleep.
2. Restlessness or Overthinking:
Solution: Practice calming pranayama (like Nadi Shodhana) before sleep to quiet the mind. Or switch between direct and indirect techniques.
3. Difficulty Transitioning into Deep Sleep Awareness:
Solution: Focus on the witnessing state during meditation daily. This helps train your mind to maintain awareness even in non-ordinary states. Or use Lucid dreaming techniques instead.
VijñÄna Bhairava Tantra is an ancient Hindu scripture that reveals 112 techniques to enter the void state. Let me know if you want a post on that.
(this is not the guide/challenge I was talking about, this is only a informational post. The other one will be out by tomorrow)
