it's time to let go and trust yourself. pure consciousness is naturally induced when your awareness is away from the 3d, and is only on your 4d. when you lay down, sit up, get comfortable, relax, and dayream/let your thoughts wander/count/etc. your awareness will unintentionally move away from the 3d, and will only be on your 4d.
when you try to force yourself, you'll be doing things that keep your awareness on the 3d. for e.g. you get impatient, so you try counting hoping that something will happen. you try breathing exercises hoping that something will happen. you listen to a subliminal hoping that something will happen. all this while keeping your awareness on the 3dâ time, body, surroundings. and then you wonder, "why did i not induce pure consciousness yet?" or "what am i doing wrong?" when pure consciousness is something effortless to induce. remember that.
