"When I was in my early twenties, I found myself in a situation that was very unpleasant to me and I wanted to get out of it. After attending a lecture by Neville, I waited to speak to him afterwards. I briefly told him of my unhappy circumstances and was hoping he would offer some advice as to how to change them. He smiled at me and said, “Don’t accept it.”

At that time in my life I did not fully grasp what Neville had been teaching. I thought he had misunderstood my question, and I tried to clarify my problem by stating that I had already made the choice to be in the situation I now found so unpleasant. Neville again smiled and said, “Don’t accept it.” I left his presence quite frustrated, thinking he had not understood my problem.

I continued to read the two books I had by Neville. I gradually understood that regardless of the circumstances which surrounded me, I did not need to accept them as final. I began to imagine what I wanted rather than focus my thoughts on my negative surroundings. An event took place two weeks after I began my imaginal acts that was instrumental in bringing about my heart’s desire five months later – that of a brand new home. Meanwhile, the situation that had been so depressing to me improved, and I spent the next five months planning what I would do in my new home."

don't accept the old story. create and accept your own, new story. revise the past.

if your reality shows you something you don't want, don't accept it. don't take no for an answer.

the distraction technique 💫

—inspired by dylan james & it is done—

i’ve mentioned in a few asks what i like to call the distraction technique. i’ve successfully manifested with it in the past, and about a year ago it helped me to finally manifest something into my 3d that i had been struggling with for months.

this method comes from something that dylan james recommends in his videos. i go over that in depth in the second half of this ask.

the technique:

whenever you think of your desire, stop yourself and simply affirm “it is done.” say this to yourself firmly. and then force yourself to think of something else.

that’s it! that’s the technique.

why does this work?

there’s multiple reasons why this technique is beneficial!

1. your subconscious mind is incredibly smart. it knows what you want, and it’s working to get you what you want. by not even bothering to think about your desire at all, to worry about it or to obsessively affirm for it, it kinda tells your subconscious mind that you trust it fully and that you know it’s gonna bring your desire to you and that you don’t even have to lift a finger.

2. this method is basically the embodiment of the phrase “if you don’t have something nice to say don’t say anything at all.” except it’s “if you don’t have something positive to think about your desire, don’t think about your desire at all.” this technique can be very beneficial to ppl who constantly worry about and doubt your manifestation. ik it can seem counterintuitive to just stop thinking about your desire rather than to work on your doubts, but it really helps. once again you’re kinda signifying that you trust that it’s yours and that you’re gonna get it. you trust it so much that you don’t have to employ any effort at all—not even thinking.

(note: no actual trust is necessary here)

short and simple but there’s the technique!

my experiences with this technique:

works like a charm every single time. this is for my besties that feel like they have to affirm every second of the day to get what they want. this is for my besties who have been trying to get what they want for months and still don’t have it and feel themselves doubting bc of that. this is for my besties who don’t want to affirm or visualize cuz they’re lazy.

i was scared to first use this technique when i discovered it summer 2021. but when i first employed it i manifested something i had been struggling to manifest within a day! it rlly took the weight off my shoulders and allowed me to enjoy myself without worrying about my manifestation.

this isn't a FUCKING joke. all of this isn't some big lie just so people can mess with you.

it's not "too good to be true", it's not "one day I will", it's not "can I?", it's not it's not it's not. it's REAL, it's LITERAL, it's YOURS.

it's different names for the SAME FUCKING THING. IT'S ALL THE SAME. one's not harder than the other, one's not easier than the other. it's the EXACT same.

lucid dreaming is the same as shifting which is same as manifesting which is same as the void. it's all the same. THE ESSENCE OF IT IS ALL THE SAME.

and the FACT is that it's all yours. NO, you don't have the "power to do it" because YOU DON'T NEED THAT BULLSHIT. it's YOURS.

there's no "specific time", "special day", "the one moment", "the one word" that'll make you shift/everything else. there's no nothing. there's nothing that youll find that'll "make you" shift. there's no secret formula, secret recipe, "oh, maybe I'm doing this wrong", "wait, maybe if I do this", "maybe if I try that". there's just you, and everything that's already yours. SO OWN UP TO IT. SAY IT WITH YOUR DAMN CHEST THAT IT'S YOURS. say it so loud that even someone in the DEPTHS of HELL and in the HEIGHTS of HEAVEN can hear that IT'S YOURS!! say it with such a sense of entitlement that GOD HIMSELF hears you, sees you, and acknowledges you!

IT'S YOURS, IT'S YOURS, IT'S YOURS. say it until you feel sick of it. say it until your brain's fried. say it until you're out of it. say it UNTIL YOU CAN MEAN IT when you say IT'S YOURS.

one assumption, one assumption is all it takes. one sentence that you don't question. hell, question it even. doesn't matter. even so, one assumption is what it takes to be the you who has it all. the assumption that you ARE the you who has it all.

don't even believe. don't. don't even think twice. don't bother at all. don't do nothing. you don't NEED to do nothing. because you already are the you who has what you want.

what you desire was already yours before it was even put in your heart. it has been yours when it appeared. its completely yours when you work towards having it. it's yours to enjoy when you finally have it. so enjoy it throughout. enjoy it when you're persisting that you have it. enjoy it when an intrusive thought arises. enjoy it when you question it's validity. because it was yours the moment the big bang happened, and it was yours before it happened, and it was yours when nothing existed, and it's yours when the world ends. it's yours from start to end.

if it wasn't yours, it would've passed you by, and you wouldn't even have any idea. if it wasn't yours, you wouldn't be here right now. if it wasn't yours, you wouldn't be trying even if you're doubting it. if it wasn't yours, it wouldn't have found you in a hundred lifetimes.

you cannot make this shit up. it's a FACT. you don't find anything. whatever is yours, finds you. you cannot escape what's yours. that is your blessing. take it. own it. live it.

you're NEVER chasing. your desires chase you. they WANT to be yours.you CAN live without them. you definitely can. they can't. but since they're yours, they move with you, and so in your frame, it looks like you're chasing after them. that you have to have them. SO WIDEN YOUR FRAME. WIDEN THAT FUCKING PICTURE. ZOOM THE FUCK OUT. SEE, that they continue chasing after you, trying to catch up. so own them. stop running. give yourself a break. take a breather. what are you chasing after anyway? when everything is yours since the beginning of the world, and even before that. you're making your life awfully like Achilles's. stop going so fast that you pass your desires and then end up behind them. stop running in circles. stop, and relax. you've reached the end line. you ARE the end line. let your desires come to YOU. that's what you deserve, and that is EXACTLY what you have.

you will have exactly what you intend. intention matters, and actions follow. so intend big, assume the "impossible", and watch it appear before you. the mind is a powerful thing. it always works in your favor, but only if you keep it under your control. do not let it even DARE to think it can control you. don't YOU ever think it can control you. sit down with it. tell it your desires. tell it that you already HAVE your desires. and most importantly, tell it that it has to work for you NO MATTER WHAT. because that is what it's supposed to do. that's it's purpose.

no, you're not GOD. you're YOU. that's your power. GOD has too much to take care of. the wind; it's direction, the water; its flow, the rain; where it falls, the leaves; when they wither, your next breath that you'll take, every single person on this once fully green Earth. he's constantly taking care of everyone else. do you have the time to take care of every single individual alive and breathing right now? honestly, no. you're not gonna sit here saying "oh, yeah. let me pay the debts of someone on the other end of the world who probably doesn't even know me". I know I won't. is that selfish? I don't care. I deserve everything that I want as much as anyone else in this whole wide world. so no. NO NO NO. you're nothing, but YOU. you don't "make it happen", you don't have to. you assume, it happens. you intend, its here. that's YOU. you don't have to sit down and plan HOW what you want will happen, you sit down and assume it'll happen, and it will.

anyways, yeah. you get the point. you are you, do not try to be anything or anyone else. be you, do you, for you. and everything will be yours. it already is. you are the CORE, the CENTER, the start and the end.

The void state and zoning out are both states where you are detached and your mind is relaxed. Hear me out now.

When zoning out, you still think, and the subconscious mind is more active, so you could affirm that you enter the void. Hear me out now.

Therefore, when you would affirm, the affirmations would go straight to your subconscious. Hear me out now.

So, you would enter the void state!!

Plus, everyone zones out, so there's no more ways to doubt this one!

I don't feel like affirming or something anymore to get this specific thing I want, like. Ew, I don't wanna lift a FINGEEERRRR, I spent the last couple of days affirming and I'm so tired, like why am I making this more difficult than what it actually is?? 😭😭

Like oh my god, I don't even want to BOTHER thinking about it. I feel like it's not my place to put effort into manifesting at this point??? I'm getting a LOT of stuff from just a thought or two, there's a part of my mind going: "What the fuck are you doing??" if I think about affirming another time for this scenario I want to live.

if you’re thinking this way, I know the key to helping you and what you’re doing wrong…

You’re doing absolutely nothing wrong. Everything you’re doing is completely correct. You are doing the correct steps. Don’t change anything about your routine, it’s perfect.

(This is not for everyone, just for people that struggle with focus)

But if you still think you’re getting stuck then maybe it’s a problem with your focus. Let’s say yes, your body is completely relaxed like you can’t even feel it. First part complete, that helps with directing your awareness to your 4D. Yes, you’re affirming you’re tapped into the void, prefect. But maybe you’re still thinking about your surroundings. You keep thinking about that fan or A/C on, every sound wave coming from the meditation/subliminal.

“But I just can’t help it, I don’t know how to stop focusing on it. Sometimes I forget about my surroundings but then they come back to my awareness, how do I stop?”

I deal with the same problem, and I deal with it the way I saw it on Reddit. Redirect that focus on being in your surrounding to thinking about your surroundings slowly fading away from your awareness and you inducing pure consciousness. Just think about literally just being, purely in your conscious mind. Simply pure consciousness

Think about the sound of that fan slowly fading away, and that subliminal or meditation get quieter and quieter to silence.

Then bam you’re pure consciousness 🤯

An affirmation I tend to repeat that I got from Isha Kriya meditation (highly recommended) is when you breath in say “I’m not my body” and when your breath out “I’m not even my mind.” Repeating those to myself make me remember that I’m in a state of being, I am nothing and everything.

Okay queen drop the WHOLE VOID STORY 😈😈

I wrote down a note in my notes app that literally just went "I am going to enter the void state and manifest my desired face, hair, body, and voice".

I laid down on my bed and played some brown noise on my headphones. I tried to really slow down my breathing and get my mind completely clear and calm, which I feel like this helped the whole process A LOT because I struggle with random distracting thoughts.

I said to myself "I am counting down from 100 to 1. 100 = my current awake conscious state, and 1= the void/pure consciousness." I started counting down, and I got weird symptoms but I ignored them, and when I reached 1, I was in the void.

I was like "holy s I'm in the void state" (no literally that's exactly what I said in my mind 😭). But I tried to stay calm and I just went through each of my desires, affirming them and visualizing myself having them. For example, for my hair i was like "I have my perfect desired hair. My hair is long and wavy. My hair is the perfect shade of blonde..." And I just kind of imagined myself in 1st person brushing my fingers through my new hair. I repeated this process for each desire.

When I was ready, I counted back up to 100, and I confirmed to myself that I would return to my consciousness now. I opened my eyes, and I immediately felt like something had changed. I don't know how to explain it, but it was like the whole world was different. I didn't look in the mirror, but I definitely felt different. I looked down at my body, and it looks more like how I scripted. My hair is changing right now too; it's not quite like I imagined it but it's longer, wavier, and more blonde, so I'm happy.

You don't need toxic positivity to manifest or to shift

The language in this mostly addresses manifestation but it is applicable to both LOA and shifting.

I have been getting a lot of questions that generally boil down to "it really hurts right now, what do I do"

I think in some ways a lot of people have internalized this belief that they have to feel good and happy and motivated 100% of the time if they want it to work.

Couldn't be more wrong.

So many people respond to genuine questions with "well just don't 🤪". I know that's not how they mean it and I don't blame them one bit but as someone who has been mentally ill I know how it makes you think and I know that's how most people feel when they hear it.

It's ok to feel like shit. No you don't need to feel happy to manifest. You don't have to feel like you just won the lottery every five seconds of your day to manifest winning it.

You are not cursed to never manifest just because you have strong emotional reactions to things.

It's ok to hurt. Take a deep breath and remind yourself that while your feelings are absolutely valid and deserve the space to be felt they are not the authority on your reality.

Our brains naturally want to make sense of what we're feeling but it often leads us to thinking the way we're feeling is evidence of what will happen next.

"I feel awful and I don't like how often I'm feeling it" often leads us into thinking "nothing is ever going to work for me", but it's important to ground ourselves and realize that feeling like shit is not divine undeniable proof that it isn't going to work.

Feeling like shit just means you feel like shit, nothing more.

Sometimes we feel awful so we self sabotage and then say "see I was right", when really we're just a self fulfilling prophecy.

You don't want to be right, you want the comfort of having your emotions validated and seen.

Holding space for yourself to feel things and feel them deeply is important to our spiritual physical and mental health. However, saying that assigning meaning to it isn't good for you.

Keep fucking going. It's ok to affirm even though you feel like shit. Feeling like shit is not "evidence" that it's "not going to work".

Self discipline is knowing to regulate yourself and validate your emotions without affirming the opposite of what you want.

Self discipline is not beating yourself up and restricting yourself heavily. It is checking yourself when needed.

I always struggled to live in the end as the 3D was literally so overwhelming and completely un-ignorable. I was constantly in a cycle of: affirm, persist, fall back into old habits, and then restart the cycle all over again. It became a pattern within my life.

Whenever I felt like I was out of this pattern, I ended up right back in it. Constantly in a viscous cycle of depression and anxiety.

A massive thing I needed to overcome was the need and desperation to get my desires. I constantly felt like I was lacking what I wanted.

How did I overcome this feeling? I started to distance myself from the 3D. However I didn’t distance myself as much as I once did. I used to feel like nothing was real and everything was fake. This decimated my mental health and made me feel completely alone. I now live my life with the belief that every undesirable thing is simply a past assumption. It’s not something I need to pay attention to, it’s simply an old idea that I can leave to die.

I started to focus on my 4D self, the man with everything he wants. I know I have my desired appearance and I know my life is perfect.
