I love Billie Piper but she becoming the doctor is quite unnecessary. We didn't even get 3 seasons with Ncuti, and then they just pulled out a nostalgia move??? Why? Ncuti was great as the Doctor, and we didn't even get a good finale to say goodbye?? Not even to mention how my girl Belinda was treated really

It's just like.. too much to process, and I love Doctor Who, I really do, and I try not to criticize when there are a bunch of other people doing it because I know I won't say something that wasn't already said, but fuck that was disappointing

something that i haven't seen people talk about much is that as much as grantaire loved and venerated enjolras, it wasn't strong enough for him to look past his cynicism for most of the brick. his love for enjolras prior to OFPD was in really only in words, as evidenced by the one time enjolras entrusted him with a task and he immediately abandoned it. in other words, he romanticized the idea of enjolras but nothing that he actually stood for. only faced by the national guard moments before death did he finally proclaim himself as one of them and gave his life for the cause. also, enjolras scorned grantaire for his cynicism the whole time but the moment grantaire finally believed, he was the one who pressed his hand with a smile and welcomed him to die with him. what i'm saying is, enjolras would've immediately welcomed and loved grantaire if he had believed in the cause earlier and even gave him a chance to prove himself, but nothing (not even his love for enjolras) could move grantaire past his cynicism until the very end
