i redid the boss music:
trying to open the cheats menu in the JOKE difficulty will cause this to appear on screen:

i decided to throw away the last 3 backgrounds because the game looked better without them and because it lowers system req (in other words i threw hours of work away )

Dvelopment update:
I havent done any development on the game for a while. But i made some progress on coming up with concepts of some kind of story.
I also just started to read some ancient chinese literature to practice my classical chinese, so i may not post many updates for a while.

Introducing the merchant:
he was ripped from the previous game i made, had his sprite mutilated to add more detail, and was forced to be used for testing. (idk why the colors look like that)
i decided that the current knight death animation was not good enough so i made a new one
i also figured out that the spian (i think i'll rename it to throwable pain) will do, it will be a throwable item that does 3x damage, but you lose the item until you pick it up again.
