So I'm really disliking all the supposition I'm seeing that since Caliborn basically said that mean=nice in cherub culture, this means Calliope must be super sinister and evil. Like I'm pretty sure that being sweet and affectionate toward all her friends wasn't meant as some weird twisted cherub 'fuck you' to them or anything. Calliope immersed herself in the cultures of other species, so I'm pretty sure she has a firm understanding of the concept of being pleasant and polite towards people she cares about.
That said, wow those empty eye sockets were not something I was expecting. It's kinda interesting though, because her death as a cherub is sort of a weird special case to begin with, and like, there's still a living body somewhere out there that her soul used to inhabit. idk, I don't have any actual theories about this, but it makes me think about LE's billiard eyes and whether that affected Calliope in any way or something, I don't know where I'm going with this.

why don’t they just kiss, why?
a;lsdfkjl My answer cut off half way through, sorry, so I'll just try that again here, lol: That was actually a painfully accurate portrayal of what being queer and in love in an unsafe environment is like. I'm actually really glad they did the scene like this, because I think it's important that people see how awkward and unnatural it is for a couple who clearly adore each other and want to express affection to act like this, and realize how important it is to work towards making schools more safe and accepting so that kids like Kurt and Blaine can feel safe enough to just kiss.
Newest water marble, the one I'm currently wearing. I forgot to take pictures of some that I've done over the past few weeks, oops. I had to chop my nails pretty short recently, but let it never be said that water marble only works/looks good on long nails! And I've found I really prefer the look of marbles that use colours from the marble as the base instead of white. It minimizes the appearance of bubbles or bald spots, and if you accidentally wipe off an edge of your design while you're cleaning up around your nails, there isn't any glaring white showing through. It just looks neater and more polished.
colours used: China Glaze Purr-fect Plum, and Sally Hansen Xtreme Wear Lacey Lilac

Darren Criss on Johnjay and Rich; November 17, 2010
aka “The Bagel Incident”
The following radio interview took place just days after Never Been Kissed aired on Fox. Darren was still very much a newbie to the industry. Some…choice actions on Darren’s part ruffled the feathers of the radio djs a bit…
Listen and enjoy and try not to get irrationally angry, but feel free to laugh at the irony of Darren blasting to stardom only a few months after this transpired.

S2.06: Never Been Kissed:
Blaine is the first person to truly see Kurt. Every bit of him. The pain, the need, the terror, the potential for bravery.
We find out, vaguely, that Blaine went through a situation similar to Kurt. He...
This... actually raises a point about Kurt's sense of fashion with regards to his gender expression that I think about a lot. Like, we've seen him wear women's sweaters and corsets before, but his presentation while wearing them has always been masculine. Even back when he participated in Gaga Week, he wore a costume that accentuated the broadness of his shoulders, and chose a tunic/tights combo rather than a straight-up dress. When Kurt says "fashion has no gender," I think it means he isn't going to stop himself from adding an article of clothing that catches his eye to his wardrobe just because the label says its for women, but he's going to re-purpose his clothes to suit a man's wardrobe. (Aaand this isn't me trying to excuse him from trying to dissuade someone else from their gender expression/presentation, I'm just sharing why it doesn't feel jarring or out of character to me that Kurt might not personally be into actually wearing a dress and presenting femininely himself)
um kurt wears women sweaters and corsets why was he against the idea of wade wearing a dress??
REBLOG: to raise awareness about the suicide rates of Native youth, which is 10 times the national average. That means for every 1 teen outside of Indian Country that takes their own life, 10 native teens take their lives.

Okay, so the facebook thing never really took off, and I mostly just lurk on livejournal, but I can totally do the tumblr thing, right? Right! I'm done with anonymously creeping rad blogs. \o/

So, the heterosexuals are on the swingset, swinging back and forth like most people do.
And then there are the homosexuals swinging, like, side to side or something.
The bisexuals are sort of alternating between the two, and the pansexuals are just twisting their swing up in a knot and crashing into everyone like “fuck the police i do what i want”
And then the asexuals are just chilling out in the sandbox all alone, like: HEY GUISE, LOOK AT THE CASTLE I MADE GUISE, LOOK GUISE IT HAS A MOTE. GUISE. LOOK.
This should not have made me laugh as hard as I did.
OMG the pansexual part made me crack up!
Apparently when I was younger I was pansexual.
