Police: can you describe the guy who attacked you?
Klaus: yes. He wasn’t very friendly
i honestly forgot to post this lol, this is Caleb, Belo's son from an AU i created
so basically it's a AU where Belos is a kind of a good guy, and my OC exists there, and they get married, and have three children, and one of them is named Caleb just because
This AU was only supposed to exist in my head but i can't resist drawing happy families ðŸ˜
yippee ki yay, YHWH
Vanya: Ya basic.
Carl:
Vanya: It's a future insult. It's devastating.
Sissy: You should be devastated right now.
i just wanted to draw belos in an iteration of that versace robe i have no excuses
Can we appreciate how Belos literally adds swirls to names. Like he decided that if he’s going to write it’s going to look as fancy and extra as possible.
He probably writes with a quill and ink too and as someone who owns a quill and ink, I make it my goal to one day reach this level of skill.
Also, I love this as a detail in general? If you’ve ever googled 1600s handwriting it has a big focus on cursive and swirls and Belos, being from the 1600s, clearly has that influence in his handwriting. Am I reading too much into this? Yes. Will I continue to think this is a cool and possibly intentional detail? Absolutely.

Cody Fern as MICHAEL LANGDON in AHS Apocalypse vs Cody Fern as VALIANT THOR in AHS Double Feature: Death Valley
was looking thru my "draw this eventually when youre not busy" files and found this sketch and i think its fun. philiiiippp it was supposed to be like this! whyd you break the promise you liar liar liar liar >:(
I've seen some people depicting Belos as someone who enacts physical violence on Hunter as direct punishment for his actions. While people are free to do that, and while I do believe Hunter's scars are (at least mostly) from Belos, he doesn't strike me as someone this blatantly cruel, someone who'd go "you did a bad thing, so now I must punish you so you know not to do that thing".
No, in fact, I think he's way smarter than that.
From what we've seen of him, he's very emotionally manipulative, and when Hunter sees him on a "good day", on the surface level, he seems actually... gentle. Someone Hunter would have a reason to like and care about.
As such, I'd wager he always presents any physical harm as a side effect of his condition. Something he doesn't want to do.
So it's not "you deserve this punishment". Rather, he spins it as "I didn't want to do this, but you know how I am when an outburst hits and you made me angry. Look what you made me do."
It serves as a way to both remove himself as the perpetrator, putting himself in the role of a victim of an illness unable to control his actions, and place the blame entirely on Hunter. Whereas in the case of direct punishment, he'd place himself as a figure of authority to be feared, but would risk Hunter growing to resent him way more.
It also adds another reason to why Hunter wants to help heal his uncle. Not only from the goodness of his heart, but also because he believes it could end both Belos's suffering and his own.
(i think he looks weird in this but oh well ðŸ˜ðŸ˜ðŸ˜. Also I refuse to get better at shading clothing LMAO)
