when i see people the same age as me i go like :0 when i see people younger than me i go hmmmmm 🤨 but when people are older than me it's normal

just like it’s important that we let people embrace and be flamboyant with their gender, we must allow people to have gender be a nonimportant part of their identity. a cis woman can love being feminine and claim her womanhood loud and proud, just like another cis woman can just be ‘whatever’ about it. a trans woman can be hyperfeminine and proud, while another can just say ‘yeah i’m a woman’ without it being a gigantic deal to her. a non-binary person doesn’t have to be constantly torn up about their gender identity to be non-binary. all experiences of gender are unique and valid in their own way.

from today my quarantine begins due to my brother who has been in contact with a positive for the covid virus, so i'm forced to stay at home.🥺🥺🥺

anyway! i'm happy because today i was super productive.💪🏻

i finally finished the masterplan of my final project, and moved on to work on the paper for the other integrated course.💻📚⌚

it's 8:30 pm and I expect to be able to finish this thing in an hour. i will enjoy my dinner and then resume writing the report for the exam on May 26th !!🌱

14-09-2020|| Went into quarantine four days ago with my housemates after two of them tested positive for Corona. We are with nine in total, so it’s challenging but we make the best of it. Worked on my notes for Biogeochemistry today, its very interesting to look at marine biology from a maths/chemistry perspective! It’s 30 degrees Celsius today (?!), so trying to get as much sunlight as possible from my room! My 34 plants are keeping me company, they look so happy in the sun :)

it’s only the second week of the semester and i already have so much work! here’s my current desk setup + environmental science notes.

ran out of pages in my notebook just at the end of summer. very excited to find this dingbats notebook that coincidentally is both green and keeps up with my deer theme! plus it has so much less ghosting than my leuchtturm (bless). third in my dynasty of green notebooks to start the school year off!

2.06.2018: I think this is my first original post in months - quite much has happened during these weeks, not necessarily good things, as I had the flu and some other health complications for more than a month with longer lasting health issues and consequences in other parts of my life - including academics. Currently I’m luckily feeling better again in general and trying to somehow survive the last hell weeks of my second year until summer break. This week I already had a presentation, a statistics report submission and a deadline for a first draft of a research study, with another deadline until tomorrow. Next week sadly doesn’t look any better with essays and still some exams to go, but I somehow have to get through it, as I can’t allow myself to fuck up my health and uni stuff even more - the past months were totally enough for the next years. I haven’t had the best couple of days mental-health-wise. The only ‘productive’ thing I did was draw and create more designs for my redbubble page. Other than that I’ve just been walking aimlessly around the house or laying on my bed/the sofa. Quite sad tbh. 

But you know what? It’s okay. Because we can’t always be on top of our game and it’s okay to have low/bad/sad days/weeks/months. The important thing is that you pick yourself back up and it doesn’t matter how long it takes just as long as you do it. Do it at your own pace.

this is how i spent all of autumn break. in my dads mock-studio which is just a bright room in our summer house (honestly the light in there is magical). studying economics until my eyes bled. 

My school finly started back... though we're online, so this is a peek of my timetable and my workspace.

i’ve propagated a bunch of my plants and can’t wait to put them into larger pots◡̈⃝ my twin’s started translating another manhwa and it’s so good !! it’s a really cute shoujo school-life type and it’s making me so excited and fluttery inside

some maths notes! i was inspired by one of my friend’s minimalistic Cornell notes so i decided to try this style out :)

personally, maths notes have to be very minimalistic otherwise it gets way too confusing 😓 i only need the bare bones of what to remember! i have fun with brush pens and colours in subjects like bio and geo ;)

22.08.20// I wish I mastered nice aesthetically pleasing writing but unfortunately my writing looks like that of an elementary school child! It’s always been speed over legibility in my life hahaha.

(Summer Study Challenge) 8/22/2020: Imagine that you could fill a swimming pool with anything except water and swim in it. What would your pool be filled with? 

This is giving me too many flashbacks from competitive swimming, so I’ll stay away from the pool if it’s cool with you. ;) 

Nineteen credits and two honors seminars sure do hit you kinda fast, don’t they? I’ve started blocking out my days schedule wise and I’m loving it so far. It feels so much better than the pomodoro method for me. I’m usually allotting an hour and a half to each subject and an hour to do these posts should I have the time to do them. As you can see, I don’t post every day on here, and probably won’t. This semester is busy, busy! 

The first two days of classes went pretty well, and my internship is off to a great start. I’m enjoying my classes so far, but I still have two more that haven’t met yet. Also catch me trying to learn Latin myself - the textbook went straight to verb conjugation and I respect that but I have no idea if I’m doing any of this right.

one of my motivation not to fail any classes is student loans. I cannot afford to fail, so passing is my only option. I think about my student loans, and it gives me the motivation to do my best. (not very inspirational, I know but its the truth)
