The Dollhouse Diaries
Real Life In Plastic Tip #6:
ෆTime Management for Neurodivergent Girly Girls and Boujie Hyperfemmesෆ
First Things First: Go 1 Week At a Time!! (every 3 days if an entire 7 is too much or your schedule is unpredictable, like mine)
Build a simple list of all the things you have to do and that you would like to do. Its much easier to get it all out on the table so you can donate more of your brain power to sorting things, rather than holding things.
Put all of the things listed on a calendar: Most important first things first! This means things like health appointments, work schedule, birthdays, holidays that you celebrate, classes, or anything that involves not only your time but other’s as well. Then after that put the elective things second; Nail appointments, shopping trips, dates with friends, etc. Lastly, put the things you would like to incorporate into your daily routine; We talking skincare, any hobbies you may have like drawing/painting/sculpting/reading/blogging, any form of exercise, etc.
Once the week or however much time you have scheduled out is done on your overall calendar, then its time for marrying it to your life.
Marrying your schedule: Planner apps, Physical Planner, Dry Erase Boards and Bullet Journals
Choosing your medium at keeping up with your schedule is very important. You may have to try them all before you get comfortable with something. I have tried them all and I’ve found that the main one that truly stuck with me was the app/website Notion. I like it because its fully customizable and you can use it at your own pace. Every week or every day may not be super eventful and so it drops the guilt and shameful feeling of not filling up pages every single day.
Notion <3 I use it as my overall journal. I use the apps on my ipad/phone to check if I’m not home and I can use the website on my PC when I’m home and relaxing. I like it because its very versatile. Think of it as a digital journal combined with similar mechanics of tumblr. I use it for literally everything. There are a lot of videos that can show off all of the cool things Notion can be used for but this is the video that personally helped me learn it quickly
Bullet Journals <3 I have about 3 journals and I love them because I get to customize things with cute stickers and it gives very fun scrapbooking vibes. Because I use Notion as a all over planner I can use my BUJO’s for more fun and creative things. I usually use these for all of my cute ideas and things thats in my mind and aesthetic wishlists and such. Its very therapeutic to take time out to be kawaii and glamorous and just put cute thoughts on to paper! I mainly use it for kpop inputs, my fav shows, wishlists, dates and etc.
Dry erase board <3 I use this as a overall daily top important to-do list! Sometimes I dont always open my notion if I dont have anything extremely important coming up but there may be some things I need to keep on my mind to do for that day. The way my neurodivergency is set up I need to keep the most important things always in my face or I could forget everything. So, I put things on there like get a new tire, pick up order from bath & bodyworks, put clothes in the dryer, wash dishes, and etc. Daily tasks like that usually goes on my dry erase board
if it’s meant for me, I will have it. if it isn’t, I’m prepared to receive something even better.

the summer is right around the corner and we have to make sure we’re ready to have a good time and look great while also staying focused on our development and goals. i don’t care, i feel like every little change is an opportunity for reinvention. season change, new year, birthdays, etc. make the changes you feel are necessary but have been putting off.
“she’s perfect omg” look as natural as possible yet ethereally flawless. hot girl bimboesque. glowy skin that looks hot to the touch. siren straight out of the water hair.
“body shimmer, pretty belly rings, mini skirts, dior lip gloss, laneige lip sleeping mask, lash extensions, pink binki's, pink french acrylics, iced coffee, dewy skin, big gold hoops & curly hair”
“I need a mani pedi, full body massage, spa day, a hydrojelly facial & a vacation.”
- @milliondollaprincess
“Aggressive orange blush. Skin balm as highlighter. Hydrating serums under base makeup. Applying coverage only where you need it. Setting spray over a thin layer of powder. Bronzer. Gloss over smudged liner on top of stain.”
- @plumslices
let’s get the skin together. we’re going towards the glowy second skin look and it’s hard to do that with dry, aggravated skin. use gentle cleanser in the am and actives at night. go outside with spf and facial oil finished with a laneige lip treatment + tree hut shea lip butter on days when you’re not wearing makeup for the pretty natural look.
waist training. when at home or running errands wear a steel boned torso covering waist trainer and a sweat band when active.
revamp your wardrobe and declutter, then post on depop, mercari, poshmark etc. this doesn’t mean change your style but it’s always refreshing to get a good honest look at your wardrobe
get your passport. everyone loves taking trips but summertime is the time for exotic destinations.
car maintenance. make sure your transportation is in good condition so you can move freely
acid peels for your entire body
make a new summer playlist to drive around to
body exfoliation for soft pretty skin free of bumps and flakes + waxing to reduce ingrown hairs
get a new fun hobby/job
keep your brows and lip waxed
SPF!!!!!!!!

glowy body oil
butterfly clips (let’s not sweat out our hair)

body wash with aha, bha, or vit c for glowing skin
victoria’s secret passport sleeve

bottega veneta (style) pieces. bottega screams sunny vacation to me! i’d you can’t afford designer there are plenty of hobo style bags and strappy knit pieces you can find at an affordable price!!
maxi, midi and mini tube dresses. i love a tube dress they just compliment my shape so well. they accentuate the collarbone, bust and hips
belly rings!! so sexy. girl you better snatch that waist up and show it off in the hot weather.
low rise pants to show off your waist
short shorts. look for cuts that are flattering and sexy but not extreme. PINK, Juicy Couture, Forever 21 make the best short shorties!
mini bags and purses, including baguettes and pochettes add to the effortless summery look. keep your essentials on you at all times and that’s it
tube tops, bikini tops. prissy essential duh
more: palazzo or wide legged pants, heeled and strappy sandals, ruffled and pleated mini skirts, maxi sun skirts, shirt dresses, satin and see through shirts, leather tops and bottoms, linen fabric pieces, gold jewelry, brights and pastels (not neons though, ew)
tinted moisturizer, liquid blush, full coverage concealer, tinted brow gel all for a flawless LIGHTWEIGHT face. it’s too much for thick makeup bc you’ll sweat it off
jergens natural glow, even for my dark skinned girls, trust me!
patrick ta body oil for that hot sunkissed siren skin.
edp with bright sweet or sparkling notes of flora or clean light scents. good examples include springtime in a park by replica, donna born in roma by valentino, gucci gorgeous gardenia, marc jacobs daisy love eau so fresh, si by armani, yellow diamond by versace
wispy lashes give a very natural look and compliments a lightweight face
body mist for travel! it’ll be hot we’re gonna start feeling the need for a refresher
glitter gloss and clear gloss!! again we’re going for the lightweight effortless looking beauty, plus glitter gloss looks amazing in the natural light of the sun
natural looking hairstyles like water waves, kinky straight, body wave, twist outs, braids.
juicy sheet masks!!! i don’t know what it is but these make pores disappear and skin look so beautiful. i love putting one on after my aztec clay mask and applying spf and going out with lashes and a poppin gloss
natural hair girls: invest in your hair. do a mask every two weeks. buy new tools. get a pink tangle tweezer or tangle angel brush. stay up on oil, cream and gel. it’s summertime! prime wash and go season. always brush your hair in the shower with a detangling brush then seal with oil and a lightweight cream then gel and you’re all set. my favorite products include edge booster, tgin leave in, aphogee keratin reconstructor, etc.
jergens cloud creme lotion. my boo @luxehunny put me on. it’s so light and airy feeling. leaves behind no heavy film or greasy texture.

Non-Aesthetic Fitness and Health Goals 🏃🏼♀️🥥🧘🏼♀️
Here are some health and wellness goals that don’t revolve around weight or appearances. Working out should always be for your health and well-being rather than looks. You have one body and you have to be able to make it last. Your body is the house where your soul lives.
To be able to fully touch your toes.
To run a mile nonstop (doesn’t matter the pace just to not stop)
Do a handstand
To be able to do the splits
10 regular push-up
10 pull ups unassisted
To be able to swim a mile nonstop (same as the running)
To have good posture and core strength
Walk/jog a 5k
To be able to lift half your body weight (great goal to build up to and very practical for real life)
To get off the ground without using your hands (amazing for as you age being able to get up easier)
Be able to balance on one foot for a minute at a time.
To be able to sit in an Asian squat (great for mobility in all your leg joints)
To reduce joint pain. (Depending on the specific joint pain it can be caused by lack of strength in the muscles around the leg and you can look up specific workouts for your problem)
To improve in your chosen sport
That’s all I have for now. I wanted these goals to be attainable (some are easier than others) and not based on how you look because not only is it discouraging but it’s also not as fun to only think about looks. These goals are also great for longevity of your body and also safety. Being strong and fit is a privilege. Let me know if you guys have any questions!

How I Fight My Messy Girl Nature🧼🧹🧺
All my life I’ve had to learn to be organized. While I’m not dirty I tend to just set things down and create piles all over my room. I typically have a good idea where everything is until the mess becomes overwhelming and I begin losing things. So I’ve had to really put in work to keep my space neat to prevent my environment from causing me anxiety. Here is all my tips I use on the daily.
Daily 5 things.
Everyday I try and put away five things that were misplaced.
I even put it in my habit tracker so I always remember.
While this doesn’t make my room spotless when I keep up with it consistently my room is way cleaner.
It also helps build the habit of cleaning as you go. Once I started doing this habit my tendency to leave clothes on the floor and shoes everywhere decreased significantly.
2 Weekly 15 minute clean
I choose to do them on Fridays and Sundays as a way of wrapping up a week and then starting fresh.
I set a timer and then clean as fast as possible.
While 15 doesn’t sound like a lot it leaves my room pretty clean and usually I build up enough momentum to finish the clean even after the timer goes off.
Fighting the piles
How I fight my tendency to making piles is with baskets and easy organization .
I never will put my makeup away properly in the morning in a really organized container so instead I have a bin for makeup and a bin for brushes. I am perfectly fine digging through (I don’t have that many products) and it looks cleaner than me just leaving it all over my vanity.
I also have a bin for my papers/mail that I just make sure to go through every now and again.
Shoes.
Shoes are probably my worst habit because I tend to just kick them off and go.
So I gave myself a wrack but I also give myself 3 pairs of shoes that can be off the wrack.
Those are my daily tennis shoes, my house slippers, and my shower shoes. I use these everyday and putting them on the wrack will never happen consistently so I don’t fit it and instead I just gave myself an area to kick the off.
Not the cleanest but at least it’s in one area. And three pairs of shoes on the floor is a lot less than 10.
Laundry
Laundry is also very hard for me because it just takes so long and anything that takes up a lot of my time annoys me.
So whenever I do laundry I make myself a to-do list and try and complete it before laundry gets done.
Sometimes it’s homework, sometimes it’s cleaning.
If I am on a break or just a little more burnt out then usual I’ll take the time and play the sims because that also takes a long time lol.
I also have made it a rule that anytime laundry gets done it has to be folded immediately. Part of this involved getting rid of the laundry chair(iykyk) so there was no where for the laundry to go but in the closet.
Anyway that’s all I have for now. These have really helped me and my tornado tendencies be a lot more tidy especially while at college in a much smaller room that I share.
