Best Pixar short?
the big fucking bird that sat on the powerlines and fucking killed all those nasty tiny little shit bitch birds who were mean to him
My friend has been showing me incorrect twst quotes from Twitter and I had to draw this one
If I had a nickel every time I fell in love with a spectacular animated series that featured:
A neurodivergent protagonist who’s introduced as an awkward loser and is revealed to have incredible powers but learns that their true power is their ability to connect with others through kindness,
Their shady con artist parents mentors with fancy self-given titles who come to appreciate their pupil while instilling meaningful words of wisdom to help them grow and will raise hell itself if anything bad were to happen to their kid,
A quirky creature that dreams of becoming a mighty overlord one day but is willing to settle for the found family they start to grow fond of,
A dark haired student who on the surface is presented as mature and sensible but secretly has a wrathful side to them, especially when their special powers are involved,
An enthusiastic oddball who has a deep fascination for beings that come from another world and dreams of making a connection with them (and were even presidents of clubs that centered around such interests),
A rival who acts hostile to the protagonist due to their superiority-inferiority complexes but starts to become a more friendlier person after spending time with the protag while also developing intimate feelings for them (and even getting new hairstyles along the way),
A grim tyrant who is regarded as one of the most powerful beings in their universe and is driven to achieve global domination while exploiting people through their skills and talents,
Their prodigious and cocky young ward who doesn’t agree with the tyrant’s ideals and is working behind their backs,
And a high ranking minion who was part of the tyrant’s inner circle but turns out to be a hero who also has anxiety issues and has a romantic/significant relationship with the con artist mentor,
I’d have two nickels.
Which isn’t alot, but it’s great that it happened twice.
