In my AU/redesign, seawings can actually spit very hot water, but they have the either be INCREDIBLY WELL HYDRATED or at least mostly submerged in water, and the amount they spit is pretty limited. IceWings can switch between their frost and a cool mist, but the mist requires training and a LOT of control

It sucked to see in the moment, but just writing out my ask made me feel a little better, and I recovered quickly enough, especially because it was pretty clear to me that you didn't mean to be insensitive and I fully believed you would understand. The only reason i was even willing to write all that out is because you came across to me as someone who would be genuinely willing to listen, and who would want to be informed when you say something hurtful! It WAS upsetting but I think the amount of sadness I felt from your comment is outweighed by the gratitude I have for your willingness to listen.
