Part 2 of âFriends.....Maybe?â
Summary: Bucky finally mans up and confesses everything and has to ask for forgiveness. Â
Warning: None
A/N: I finally decided to write the second part of this. And now Iâm going to write another chapter of âUnexpected GiftsâÂ
âI messed up big time.â
After putting you to bed and texting Steve, Bucky goes to the kitchen and cleans up everything. He puts all the food away. Of course, he canât help but taste it while he does. Once he taste it, it only causes him to hate himself more.
âGod, Iâm such an idiot.â He says to himself as he puts a lid on the container.
He puts the dishes in the dishwasher then heads to his room. He gets to his room and his phone chimes with a notification. It was a message from Steve.
Steve honestly doesnât want to know what Bucky means by his text, but he has a gut feeling it has something to do with Y/N. He shakes his head and types a response. He presses send then puts his phone away.
-What did you do?
Bucky goes on to explain what happened tonight and waits for Steve to answer. Steve never answers.
Over the next two days, Bucky doesnât see you and he doesnât try to look for you because he knows you donât want to see him. What he doesnât know is that you havenât moved from the bed since he put you there.
The team gets back in the evening of the second day. Bucky is in the hanger to see everyone. Steve steps off the quinjet with an unreadable expression. Nat and Wanda are next. They both step off and glare at Bucky.
âBarnes, I swear if what you did is not undoable then so help me god.â Natashaâs words arenât laced with venom.
Bucky canât help but duck his head because he knows itâs the truth.
Nat and Wanda go inside the compound to find you. They find you exactly where Bucky left you two days ago.
Youâre curled up in the bed with your back to the door. You hear the door open, thinking itâs Bucky trying to check on you, you throw a pillow towards the doorway.
âHey, we havenât done anything.â Wanda says as she walks into the room and joins you on the bed.
Under your eyes there is old mascara, where Bucky didnât quite wipe it off enough. Your skin is pale and your eyes are bloodshot and puffy.
âOh, love.â Wanda reaches over and pulls you into her.
You start to break down again. All the feelings of hurt, rejection, and so much more, all come crashing down on you.
The last two days, you just laid in your bed staring at the ceiling. You couldnât cry or make yourself get up, you were numb.
Now, you were feeling everything. Nat joins you both in the bed.
âHow about you go take a shower and get cleaned up then we will have a girlâs night? We can watch movies or do whatever you want.â Nat says looking over at you.
You turn your head towards her and nod.
âOk then, go shower. Because not to hurt your feelings but you have a funk going on.â Nat and Wanda laugh
You canât help but laugh with them. Nat and Wanda get up so you can get out of the bed. You slowly get up, your muscles protesting from a lack of use.
âTake as long as you need.â They smile.
You walk into the bathroom and shut the door. You look at yourself in the mirror for the first time since that night. Youâre still in the dress you bought, but your earrings and necklace are missing and your makeup is half wiped off.
You know you didnât do any of it, so you knew it had to have been Bucky. Your heart flutters just slightly at the thought of him being so kind to do those things, but itâs quickly fades and is replaced with heartbreak.
You arenât too sure why you are heartbroken, itâs not like he knew your feelings or reciprocated them. You just wanted to be a friend to him, even if thatâs all it was. Deep down, you knew you loved him, so if just being his friend was all you had, then that would be enough. You just never got the chance to even be his friend.
You turn away from the mirror and begin to strip. You through the dress into the small trash can in your bathroom. You donât want it as a reminder of what happened.
You turn the shower on and let it warm up. In no time, the bathroom is covered with steam. You step into the steaming water and sigh in relief. Your body relaxes and relishes in the heat from the water.
Once Wanda and Natasha hear the water cut on, they get to work. They strip your bed of the covers and sheets youâve been laying in for the past two days. Wanda puts on the fresh sheets and lights a few candles.
Natasha sends the old sheets to the laundry and starts to gather food. She orders your favorite sushi, she grabs ice cream, chocolate, and a bottle of wine or two. Natasha comes back to your room in a much better state than when she first arrived.
She puts all the food on your desk, and they wait for you to finish in the shower.
After what feels like hours in the shower, you turn the water off. You feel more human now that youâve showered. You dry off and put on a big tshirt and pajama shorts. You towel dry your hair then exit the bathroom.
Your eyes land on the desk full of food and your stomach audibly growls. You all three laugh at the noise.
Wanda uses her power to bring the sushi over to you. You laugh a little more then climb into the bed. Wanda and Natasha sit on both sides of you. Nat turns on your favorite Disney movie, and you all dig in to the sushi.
Wanda brings over the bottle of wine. All three of you pass it around, but you seem to drink the most of it. By the end of the movie, you were more tipsy than Wanda and Natasha.
âFeel better?â Wanda asks.
You sigh and lay back. Tears start to well up in your eyes.
âTo be honest.â You start. âNot really. I love you two, but I still feel like my heart has been ripped out.â Tears slip down your cheeks.
âItâs gonna be ok.â Nat says softly.
âJust give it some time.â Wanda rubs your arm.
âHow am I supposed to get over him if heâs always around? I see him everyday.â You cry more. âHim and his beautiful blue eyes, his hair, and his hot body.â You sigh and cover your face with a pillow.
âI hate myself!â You groan into the pillow. âI didnât want to fall in love with, but I did. I let him and his stupid metal arm worm his way into my heart.â
Natasha and Wanda share a look and have to keep from laughing at your alcohol filled words.
âAnd the thing is, I love him so much, if he apologized I would forgive him.â You move the pillow and look up at the pair of redheads. âYou two probably think Iâm crazy.â
âNo, Y/N, youâre not crazy.â Wanda says. âI truly believe you canât choose who you fall in love with. It just happens.â
âIs there any more wine or maybe something stronger?â You ask.
âI think I can finds us something.â Natasha gets up and goes to the kitchen.
Sam, Steve, and Bucky are all in the common room. Steve and Sam letting Bucky have it. Even if Bucky couldnât see how you felt about him, everyone else could. Thatâs why everyone always told her to keep trying with him, hoping maybe one day he would finally give in.
âGuys, I get it! I know I was a terrible person to her.â Bucky sighs and lays his head back against the couch.
âDo you Barnes?â Natasha asks as she walks out of the kitchen with a bottle of vodka. âBecause if you do, you better start finding a way to make it up to her. She is so in love with you that she would settle for just being your friend if you didnât feel the same, but she would never tell you that.â
Bucky just stares at Natasha in complete shock. You were in love with him? Why? All the things heâd done in his past and the ways he treated you, how could you love him?
Nat just shakes her head before turning and going back to your room.
Bucky looks back at Steve and Sam. âWhat should I do?â
The guys start to come up with a plan to help Bucky make it up to you.
When Natasha walks back into your room, she finds you asleep on Wandaâs shoulder.
âWhat took you so long?â Wanda questions the Russian.
âI had to talk some sense into Barnesâ thick skull.â She says.
Wanda gets up from the bed, careful not to wake you. They gather up the trash from your girlâs night and quietly leave you to sleep.
They join the guys in the common room. The guys are still trying to come up with a plan.
âMaybe, I should just go talk to her.â Bucky says. âIf I just tell her everything, maybe I cam fix this. Then if that doesnât work, I donât know.â Bucky stands up from the couch.
âSheâs asleep.â Wanda stops him.
âThen I will talk to her first thing in the morning.â He sighs. Bucky decided to turn in for the night.Â
He walks to his room, feeling like total crap. Bucky doesnât even want to imagine what you feel like.Â
Bucky has never had love. He was a ladies man in the 40s and there was definitely no love with Hydra. It was all foreign to him. The feeling he gets in his stomach when you do something for him, the affect your smile has on him, and so many other things, yet, he is a total jerk to you about everything.Â
Bucky didnât want to love you because he thought he was too broken. That he was beyond repair, but he couldnât stop himself, so he thought if he made you hate him then it would be easier on himself.Â
Bucky gets into his room and falls face first onto the bed. He groans into the mattress then rolls over. âF.R.I.D.A.Y. can you let me know when Agent Y/L/N is awake?âÂ
âOf course, Sargent Barnes.â The AI responds.Â
Bucky gets up and gets ready for bed. He takes a shower then puts on only his boxers for bed. He settles in and forces himself to fall asleep.Â
Itâs well after midnight when F.R.I.D.A.Yâs voice is heard in Buckyâs room. He is startled awake by her voice.Â
âSargent Barnes, Agent Y/L/N is awake and in the kitchen.â She says.Â
âWhat time is it?â Bucky asks the AI.Â
â2:36 a.m.â She answers.Â
He groans as he rolls out of bed. He knows you probably donât want to talk, but he has to. He has to get everything off his chest, and hopes you forgive him.Â
He is about to leave his room when he remembers he is only wearing his boxers. He quickly rushes to slip on some sweat pants and a tshirt.Â
He leaves his room and heads for the kitchen. He finds you searching through the medicine cabinet in the dark.Â
âCrap!â You whisper yell as you knock over a few pill bottles. The team kept a cabinet filled with over the counter meds for normal everyday problems.
âMaybe if you turn on the lights, you can find what youâre looking for.â Bucky reaches to turn on the lights.Â
âDo not turn on the lights!â You pear around the cabinet door. You knew it was Bucky by his voice.Â
âWhy? Because you donât want to look at me or another problem?â Bucky questions as he walks over to you.Â
âBoth if you really want an answer, not that you deserve one.â You words are dripping with venom.Â
âYou are totally right, I donât.â He says softly.Â
You continue you search for the Advil not giving him any attention. He reaches over you and pull the bottle from one shelf above where you looking. Bucky hands you the bottle then turns to grab a water from the fridge. He hands you the bottle and watches as you take the pills.Â
âCan we talk?â Bucky asks.Â
You donât want to say yes, but you also want to ask him why. âSure.â
âCan I turn the lights on so we can talk?â He looks at you.Â
âWhy do we need the lights?â You groan.Â
âBecause I want to be able to see you clearly while we talk.â He flips the light switch. Bucky watches as you squeeze your eyes shut and grimace. After a few seconds, you open you eyes and let them adjust.Â
You look at him and your expression softens involuntarily. You havenât seen him in almost four days.Â
âY/N, let me just start with Iâm sorry.â Bucky says. You scoff. âI donât think I will ever be able to say that enough to make up for what all Iâve put you through.â He looks down at the ground. âI was a jerk to you because I was scared of my feelings.â He looks up at you and steps a little closer. âThe first day I walked in here, I was drawn to you. But, I thought I was too broken to love anyone, so I pushed you away. I tried to make you hate me.â Bucky explains. You listen to him intently, not wanting to miss a word.Â
âAnd I will never forgive myself for the other night. I went out to meet with my therapist and to come with a plan to tell you how I really feel.â Bucky reaches out to take your hand.Â
You want to pull away, but his hand wraps around yours, and it feels right.Â
âI love you, Y/N.â Your mouth falls open at his words, utterly shocked. âI didnât realize it until the other night when I carried you out of the dining room, that all the feelings I have when you are around are because I love you.âÂ
He said it again, and you feel like you want to cry. âBucky-â You try to find the words but you canât.Â
âI know you right now you probably canât forgive me for everything that I did, but maybe one day you can? Can we start over? Maybe this time we can be friends?â He looks at you with eyes filled with hope.Â
âBucky, I think Iâve loved you since you got here, and even after everything you did I still love you. I donât think I will ever stop.â You admit to him. âI can forgive you because I love you, but if you really mean it, that you love me. You have to promise me that you will never hurt me like that again.â You look up at him as tears slip down your cheeks.Â
He pulls you into him and places his hands on your cheeks to wipe away the tears. âI promise, doll, I will never hurt you again.âÂ
Bucky leans down, his lips just inches away from yours. You lean up and close the small gap. Your lips meet and if sparks could fly they would be flying. The kiss is slow and gentle.Â
Bucky pulls away smiling. He looks down at you as a smile crosses your lips.
âI love you, Y/N.â Bucky whisper before pecking your lips again.Â
âI love you too, Bucky.â Â

Summary: After college, you moved to L.A. to begin pursuing your dream in the movie industry. You started with an internship and worked your way into the position of stunt coordinator by the age of 25. Your life was finally working out, You were finishing the first week of training with the Marvel cast for "Avengers: Age of Ultron." You had it all put together until your younger sister took her life, left you full custody of her two-month-old daughter, and you found the love of your life. (Based off Chrisâs movie âGiftedâ)
Pairings: Chris Evans x Reader

{Part 1}Â {Part 2}
A/N: I told myself I was going to update once a week, but Iâve already written through part 6. So, I was getting impatient with myself. Iâm not sure how many parts this will have but it has 6 complete parts so far.Â
âWhat?â You looked at your mom in utter shock. Your mother dropped a bomb on you, well at least thatâs what it felt like.
âI know, itâs a shock, and with your career you donât need a baby.â Your mom said. You looked down at your niece as she cooed in your arms. She didnât deserve any of what was happening.Â
âNo, I-â You stopped. âI will take her. I know you and dad are capable, but I think it would be better for everyone if I took her.âÂ
âHoney, are you sure? Your career is taking off and you have such odd hours.â Your mother was just wanting to make sure you knew you had options.
âIâm sure.â You said. âIf thatâs what she wanted then thatâs what I will do.â You kissed your niece on her chubby cheeks and she giggled.
Your mom nodded. âAlright hun.â She squeezed your hand again.
You ate breakfast, and felt like your haze was getting thicker. Most of the day was spent sitting around and talking. Your parents went and made arrangements for your sisterâs funeral.
You texted Chris throughout the day, but you never told him about your niece. As the day progressed, you needed to tell someone. Finally, you messaged Chris and asked if you could call him. He, of course, said yes.
You tapped the phone icon under his name and it began ringing. You were sitting on the back patio as Olivia napped in her swing.
âHey Y/N! How are you doing?â He asked.
âUmm, well I was doing better until my mom informed me of something.â You told Chris.
âWhat was the news? Iâm guessing it was something big.â Chris asked, genuinely wanting to know what was bothering you.
âMy sister has appointed me to become the legal guardian of my niece. She never told me she was doing that.â You admitted to Chris. âSheâs two months old.âÂ
âOh.â Chris was unsure of what to say.Â
âI know I just unloaded that on you, but I needed to tell someone. And you were the only person who knows whatâs going on.â You sighed.
âWell, umm-â Chris stuttered. You could tell Chris was struggling. âIâll help you figure things out.âÂ
âChris, you donât have to do that. I also wouldnât even know where to start.â You told him.
âY/N, you are going to need help. Let me help you.â Chris said.
You sighed. âAlright, alright. I will accept your help.â
âGood because you were going to get it any way.âÂ
Your niece began to cry. You stuck the phone between your shoulder and your ear and went to pick her up. âShh, itâs ok, itâs ok. Aunt Sissy is here.â You sat down in your chair.Â
âAunt Sissy?â Chris questioned. You forgot he could hear you.
âYes, when my sister and I were little kids she couldnât say my name, so she called me sissy. So, we figured why not be Aunt sissy.â You explained to him.Â
âI like it.â He said. âIâm just plain ole Uncle Chris.â He laughed.Â
âThereâs nothing wrong with that.â You told him.
You and Chris talked for a few more minutes then you ended the call. Your parents came home after a while. You and your niece were both asleep on the couch.Â
The next few days were a blur. You attended the funeral of your sister and finalized documents to become the legal guardian of your niece.
It had been a week. You knew you had to get back to L.A. and back to work. It was Friday morning and you were able to book a flight back to L.A. for the next morning, but this time you had to mark that you were flying with a baby. You were slightly dreading the flight home. Five hours on a plane with a two month old, that was definitely uncharted waters for you.Â
That night, you packed your suitcase and Oliviaâs things. You told your parents to keep everything your sister had bought at there house. You would just have to buy new things after you were back in L.A.Â
That night, you couldnât sleep. Your mind just wouldnât shut down. Every scenario, good and bad, were going through your head. You checked the clock and it was almost 3 a.m. You groaned and just stared at the ceiling. You werenât sure when, but eventually you fell asleep.Â
7 a.m. rolled around much quicker than you wanted it too. You groaned as you turned your alarm off. You got up, got dressed, and finished off both yours and your nieces packing.
You woke Olivia up, fed her, and got her dressed for the flight. Your nerves were still on end wondering how the flight was going to go. Your dad helped bring your things to the car as you loaded everything.
âAre you going to be ok?â Your dad asked.
âI think I will be fine.â You told him. âI have a friend who is already offering to help me.â
He nodded as he closed the back of the car. You both walked inside to get Olivia.
Your parents drove you to the airport. They kissed Olivia goodbye then you.
âCall us, no matter what time, if you need anything.â Your mom said. You nodded and hugged her. You were grateful that your sister had purchased one of the infant carriers that you wear, so your hands were free. It was an odd feeling, walking around with a baby. People looked at you when normally no one would look your way.
You got your boarding pass and headed to your gate. After grabbing a coffee and a muffin, you sat down at your gate. You audibly sighed when you sat down. You looked down at Olivia, she was fast asleep. You ate your muffin and drank your coffee before your boarded your flight.
While you were waiting at the gate, your phone rang. You looked down and it was Chris. You slide over on the screen to answer and put the phone to your ear.
âHello?â You asnwered.
âGood morning Y/N! What are you up too?â Chris asked.
âIâm at the airport waiting on my flight.â You said. âChris isnât it like 6 a.m. in L.A.?â You questioned.
He glanced at his alarm clock. âOh yeah, it is. I just woke up and I thought since we didnât talk much yesterday, Iâd give you a call.â
You smiled. âWhy are you up at 6 on a Saturday? Iâd be sleeping until noon.â You laughed softly.
âI donât even know why myself.â He laughed. âI went to bed pretty early last night, so maybe thatâs why.â
âWell, I was the opposite. I didnât go to sleep until 3 then I woke up at 7 and was at the airport by 9.â
âWow! You made it to the airport in an that amount of time with a baby? Thatâs impressive.â Chris commended you.
âYeah, I guess I did. It wasnât that bad. I got up, got dressed, dressed Olivia and my dad drove us to the airport. Itâs a 45 minute drive from my parents house to the airport.â You told Chris.
âHow is Olivia doing?â He asked. You smiled to yourself. Most people probably wouldnât ask.
âSheâs doing well, I think. I can ask, but I donât know if I would get a response.â You laughed softly as did Chris. âIâm worried about the time change though. For an adult, you just take a nap and all will be fine. I donât know how it affects a baby.â You admitted to Chris.
Over the week, you realized you felt something towards him. You didnât want to admit to yourself what that was, but you would admit it was something.
âI donât really know.â He said with a sigh.
âChris, Iâm worried. I donât know anything about babies. I know they are cute and you have to change their diapers, but thatâs it!â You said to him.
âWell, my sisters have a few kids and I know a little bit about babies. I will be glad to help you out.â Chris assured you.
âThank you.â You smiled. Your conversation continued for another twenty minutes. You talked about work and how you were doing.
Your flight was being announced so you had to say goodbye. âIâll be back in L.A. around lunch.â You told Chris before ending the call.
You grabbed your backpack and stood. It was different now that you had Olivia with you. People were more careful around you, they seemed to take notice of your prescense.
Your parents paid for your flight home and they booked using Delta so your seat was classified as Comfort plus. You had a bit more room than a normal seat, which was nice considering you were traveling with a baby. You got comfortable and removed the carrier, it was kind of a relief.
The flight attendants were super helpful and even offered you some tips after you admitted you had never flown with a baby. Right as the flight began to take off, Olivia began crying.
You started panicking. You knew it was probably the pressure in her ears from the takeoff because you felt it in your own ears. You reached into the diaper bag and grabbed a bottle.
You clicked the button on the bottle to drop the powder into the water. You shook the bottle then held it for Olivia. She immediately calmed down and started eating. You sighed in relief. After her bottle, you burped her and she fell asleep almost instantly.
The rest of the flight was calm. You changed her diaper, fed her again, and she slept. Finally, you landed in L.A.
You made your way into the airport to grab your luggage and Oliviaâs car seat. Once you had everything, you made it to your car. You loaded Oliviaâs car seat then her, then your luggage.
You finally got into your car and took a deep breath. âWe made it Livie.â You grabbed your phone and texted Chris that you had landed and were headed home.
Thirty minutes later, you were pulling into your apartment. You somehow manage to get everything into your apartment in one trip. You took Olivia out of her car seat and she stretched and yawn. âGirly, you must like to sleep.â You laughed as you laid her down the couch cushion beside you.
You checked your phone and saw a message from Chris.
Chris- âGood. If you donât mind, I wanted to stop by later. Only if itâs ok with you.â
You- âOf course! I would really like that.â
Olivia started cooing and gurgling. âWhat are you saying Livie? Are you excited to meet Chris?â You laughed. She continued to gurgle.
Chris- âIâll be there in about an hour.â
You- âAlrighty! See you soon!â
As you were waiting on Chris, you started smelling something, and you knew exactly where it was coming from. You look over at Olivia. She had this grin on her face looking back at you.
âYou are something else.â You laughed and went to grab the diaper bag. You laid the changing mat down on the floor then Olivia. You unbuttoned the onesie and started holding your breath. There was a knock at the door right as you undid the diaper.
You knew it had to be Chris. âCome in!â You called out. The door opened and Chris smiled at you.
âAm I interrupting something?â He laughed.
You shook your head and laughed. âNo, youâre not interrupting.â You finished changing Oliviaâs diaper without any sort of disaster. So, you patted yourself on the back for that.
You picked her up off the floor and disposed of the diaper. You went back to the living room where Chris was standing.
âChris, Iâd like you to meet Olivia.â You said smiling as you held her. âI call her Livie.â Chris smile down at her.
âMay I?â He reached for her.
âOf course!â You gently passed her to Chris.
âHello Olivia!â He cooed at the baby as she giggled.
You smiled at him and sat down. As you watched him hold Olivia, your buried feelings started to surface. You looked at his arms and how much smaller Olivia seemed in them.
She gurgled and cooed as she looked Chris. âShe must like you.â You teased him.
âYou think?â He raised his eyebrow and smiled at you. âSheâs beautiful like her aunt.â
You blushed. âI bet her mom was beautiful too.â Chris said sitting down on the couch.
âShe was.â
He looked at you then down at Olivia who was yawning. âI think someone is sleepy.â He chuckled.
âI bet.â After you said that, you began thinking you didnât have anything you needed for Olivia. No crib, no changing table, no diapers, no nothing. Chris noticed your expression changed in a matter seconds.
âWhatâs wrong?â He asked.
âI donât have anything she needs, Chris. I have a car seat and a diaper bag.â You said putting your face in your hands.
âWell then letâs go. Letâs get Olivia everything she needs.â Chris smiled at you.
âWhat? Now?â You looked up at him.
âYeah. We can go to Target, Walmart. I donât know, we will find somewhere.â
You sighed and nodded. âOk.â
Olivia was asleep in Chrisâs arms. You walked over and grabbed the car seat. You sat it on the coffee table in front of Chris. He gently placed Olivia into the car seat and strapped her in.
You smiled watching him do it. He was gentle with her. The way he smiled at Olivia as he buckled her in made your heart melt.
âAlright, lets go.â He said as he stood up. âYou can just get a few of the essential things. A crib, diapers, wipes, formula, bottles.â He listed them off.
You nodded. You went to grab the handle of the car seat but Chris stopped you. âLet me.â He said.
He grabbed the handle and carried the car seat to your car. He locked the car seat into place then shut the door quietly. You were sitting in the driverâs seat waiting. He leaned down.
âI know youâre tired, so Iâll be driving.â You gave him a soft smile and willingly went around to the passenger side.
Over the next couple of hours, you, Chris and Olivia shopped for the essentials. You decided on a simple, white crib, nothing extravagant at the moment. You picked up several sets of pink sheets for the crib.
As you shopped, people were giving you odd looks. Who wouldnât? Two people with a baby shopping for baby things now, thatâs technically backwards. But, you paid no mind to the people in the stores.
The shopping ended and you three headed back to your apartment. Itâs was around five in the afternoon when you got all the boxes and bags inside.
While shopping, you saw a swing and you knew how much Olivia loved her swing at your parents. You told your self you wouldnât get it right now, but you looked down at Olivia and caved. That was the first thing put together.
Everything was inside the apartment. Chris was setting down the last bag as you held Olivia on the couch.
âChris, I canât thank you enough.â You smiled at him as he walked over and sat beside you. âI donât know how Iâm going to repay you for everything youâve done for me and now Olivia.â
âY/N, you donât have to repay me.â He said looking down at you. âEverything Iâve done, I did because I wanted to.â
A tear slid down your cheek. âNo, no, no! Donât cry.â He said wiping the tear. âIâm sorry. I didnât mean to make you cry.â
âI know you didnât. I donât even know why Iâm crying.â You said with a small laugh. âYou have been so nice to me through out all of this, Iâm also sleep deprived and still pretty emotional.â
Chris smiled at you. Before either of you could say anything, Olivia started to cry. You looked down at her and tried to figure out what she wanted. You checked her diaper and it was clean.
âWant me to make a bottle?â Chris asked standing up to reach for the diaper bag.
You nodded as you held Oliviaâs pacifier in her mouth. She continued to cry. Chris mixed the bottle and warmed it.
âHere you go pretty girl!â He said replacing the pacifier with the bottle. She started sucking down the bottle. You laughed softly at how quickly she was eating.
As she ate, Chris sat down beside you. Your mind couldnât help but wonder to the future. What if this was your future? You, Chris and a another baby. Maybe you did want something with Chris, but just not right at the moment. You need some time to adjust with Olivia. And if you were reading Chris right, he would wait until you were ready.
You glanced over at him. He was looking down at Olivia in your arms. She was almost done with the bottle. Her eyes were wide open and she was looking back at Chris.
âOh yeah, I think she really likes you.â You laughed. âShe canât take her eyes off you. I donât blame her though.â You smiled at him.
Chris blushed. âYou donât?â He raised his eyebrow.
âNot one bit.â You smiled.
Chris chuckled unsure of what to say. You quickly realized how forward you were.
âIâm sorry, that was very out of line.â You apologized.
âNo, donât apologize. Itâs totally ok.â He said. âHow I about I start putting together that crib?â Chris smiled. You nodded as your cheeks burned with embarrassment. Chris stood up and went to work.
Olivia finished her bottle, and your burped her. You heard her burp then felt something warm running down your shoulder. âOh Livie! Why?â You groaned.
Chris turned his head and saw the problem. He walked over and took Olivia. He couldnât help but laugh, just a little. âOlivia, why would you do that?â He wiped her face.
âIâm going to change shirts.â You turned and went to your room to find a clean shirt. When you returned, you found Chris with Olivia pressed to his chest as he swayed. You smiled watching the scene.
âYou know Olivia, I really like your aunt. Sheâs so kind and loving and caring, but you already know that. And sheâs absolutely beautiful.â Chris spoke to your niece.
Your cheeks flushed red as you listened to him go on. You cleared your throat and he quickly turned towards you.
âHow much did you hear?âÂ

It was the night before your wedding day. You always thought you would be nervous and stressed the night before your wedding, but you were the complete opposite. You felt happy and relaxed. You trusted that Jessica had everything done for the big day. You, Scarlett, Rose and Olivia were having a relaxing night at Lisaâs.Â
You asked Scarlett to be your only bridesmaid and Rose to be a flower girl with Olivia. Chris asked Scott to be his best man and his nephew, Miles, to be the ring bearer.Â
You chose to spend the night at Lisaâs and let Chris and Scott have your house. You were just hoping it was in one piece when you got back.
Olivia was nearing two years old, and you couldnât believe it. She talked non-stop, it didnât always make since but that didnât stop her. Olivia had started calling Chris, dada.Â

Three weeks had passed and you were packing your bags for filming. You ended up not getting someone to keep Olivia. She was three months old and in three months she had been through enough. You decided that it was just better to bring her with you. Everyone was used to her, so it wasnât a problem.
It was around four in the morning and you were getting dressed to head to the airport. The first location of filming was New York. You were trying not to wake Olivia as you got ready.
Over the last three week, your routine became more natural. You figured out different cries from Olivia and what she wanted. She even began to recognize things. It was an amazing thing to watch her reach different milestones.Â
