nidvette-ing is so painful because there is (nearly) no way they could be in a relationship. nidvette is just wistful thinking, what would’ve happened during the time together. and honestly the rebellion nidhogg arc just makes it so much sadder but better. if it didn’t happen, there would be no character development, which means no toxic ex-lovers content (lol).
