“I’m Hero. I’m the reason your parents are in jail.”
“I knew it.”
“Wait, you knew? And you’re not mad at me?”
“No, geez, you’re my best friend! Look, I wish you had told me sooner, and I do need time to process all of…this. But no, I’m not angry.”
“Wait, seriously?”
“Yes, seriously! How on Earth did you think I was going to react?”
“I thought you’d blame me for getting your parents in jail, and vow revenge for you know, ruining your life. Then you’d turn evil and break them out so you can destroy the city together as a family, so we’d have to fight each other and stuff.”
“Wow. You’ve been reading way too many comic books.”

if you want to support, take a look at my story - Thoraway villain
It's called being average and middle bench thing
And it's such a indian thing that..........
feel free to use :)
one character trying to hold the others hand and failing miserably
so then they make a fool proof plan they think will work just to hold their love interests hand
the talk with their best friend like “should i just give up? at this point you’d have to be pretending not to know”
character b going in for a kiss and when they both accidentally bump heads character b can’t stop laughing at the insanity and character a is just confused because they genuinely didn’t know b was going in for a kiss
the stomach drop when your main character has to see their love interest w someone else or simply hear about them liking someone else
the spider-man meme where they’re all pointing at each other but it’s a conversation like “i said i didn’t like you like that because you said you didn’t like me” “but i said i didn’t like you because you were literally in love with someone else” then “i only said i was in love with them because you didn’t want me!”
one character being like “yeah im soooooo bored this weekend. when you are free. You know. i have NOTHING to do. oh what ever will i entertain myself with!!! WHOOeverrr should i entertain myself with.” and the other is just like “huh. yeah that’s pretty sad”
“i changed my schedule for you, you idiot.” “wait i don’t get it. why?”
one character going in to touch the other characters face and the other character freaking out like “WHAT????? IS THERE A BUG??? WAIT GET IT OFF”
^ but twist if they’re enemies and the other character thought they were gonna like throw a punch
your character being convinced they like everyone BUT them
“i can’t believe you didn’t know.” “YOU WANTED ME TO READ YOUR MIND??!!??!”
“marry me.” “what?” “what?”
OH OH BUT ALSO one character is asleep and the other whispers “i like you.” and they wake up like “what” and the response is, once again, “what”
“can i love you?”
“i told you i liked you!” “i thought you were joking!”
“but i don’t know how to love.” “me neither.” “okay. shall we figure it out together?”
“i like you.” “wait what? but i like you.” “HUH?????”
“i just don’t want you to hurt me. i don’t know how to do this, /name/.”
“be honest. do you know?” “know what?” “that i like you!” “you like me?” “OH MY GOD.”
I didn't know you wore glasses and I'm thinking normal and platonic thoughts about you right now I swear

I have never been this sick before I'm sorry did I, haha this is so weird, but did I confess my love for you? f- four times? yeah? haha oh
every time you taste my cooking you just say it's amazing does it need more salt or not I swan to John
oh it's nothing it's just. you sing when you're happy and the place has been so quiet for so long, and I heard you- nevermind,
you frost cookies like you're neither left or right handed but a third other hand that you don't actually possess and I can't stand it (affectionate)
I don't think you understand how much your good morning texts legitimately keep me from rotting in bed all day
you must be pretty down if me juggling your oranges doesn't even get a laugh out of you :( should I light them on fire?

I'm a spy. i can do unspeakable crimes under the morally bankrupt cover of night but I'm not sure I can pretend to look at real estate as a couple with you
my love is your arm stuck in the claw machine. you were going to steal that prize for me?? oh my gosh. let me rescue you and also show you how to actually do this

Anger
Anger is one expression of fight-or-flight mode — an automatic, instinctive reaction to a threat. In many cases, there is an underlying fear of being harmed. Thanks to autonomic nervous system arousal, the heart rate increases, pupils dilate, and the face may flush. Other signs of anger
Balling the fists
Crossing the arms tightly
Clenching the fists once arms are crossed
Tight-lipped smile
Clenched teeth
Shaking a finger like a club
Stabbing a finger at someone
Attraction
Pupils dilate
Women will cross and uncross legs to draw attention to them
Mirroring – (usually unconsciously) mimicking the other person’s body language
Closed to Conversation
Keeping the hands in the pockets (esp. men)
Arms and legs crossed
Sitting back
Folding the hands together on a table (creates a barrier)
The “figure-four” leg cross (setting the ankle of one leg on the knee of the other) and then grabbing the lower half of the top leg with both hands.
Openness and Honesty
Exposure of the palms
Arms and legs unfolded
Leaning forward
Submissive Signals
Smiling – that’s why some people smile when they’re upset or afraid
Slumping the shoulders
Doing anything to appear smaller
Distress
Men in particular have a tendency to stroke or rub the nape of the neck when they’re upset. It acts as a self-soothing gesture to deal with a “pain in the neck.”
Crossed arms – arms act like a protective barrier
Self-hugging – arms are crossed, hands gripping upper arms
One-arm cross – one arm crosses the body to hold or touch the other arm – women keep a hand on a purse or bag strap to make this look more natural
Clutching a purse, briefcase, or bag with both arms
Adjusting cuffs or cuff-links (men’s version of the purse-strap grab)
Folding the hands together in front of the crotch (men)
Lying
Lying causes a subtle tingling in the face and neck, so the gestures below are attempts to eliminate that feeling
Covering the mouth – can be like a shh gesture, or they may cover the mouth completely – some people try to cover it by coughing
Touching or rubbing the nose or just below the nose – often a quick, small gesture, not a scratch
Rubbing the eyes (especially men)
Scratching the neck with the index finger
Superiority, Confidence, Power, Dominance
Steepling the fingers (aka setting the tips of the fingers together)
Folding the hands behind the back
Thumbs sticking out from pockets when hands are in pockets (can be front or back pockets)
Hands on hips
Straddling a chair
Hands folded behind the head while sitting up (in men)

"I'm not sure what to do with all these feelings for you."
"you're blind- you're so blind! why would i even do half the things that i do for you for anybody if i wasn't head over heels for them!"
"you really can't tell, can you?" A says. "I'm embarrassed by my feelings for you. I'm so dumb for keeping them alive. i love you. there. you heard it. happy now?"
"i wish i could spell your name with the stars."
"i think we both need a therapist to figure out whatever the hell this is." A mumbles against B's lips. "It's getting to my head."
"Me?" A asks. "Are you sure? Out of the billions of people out there, I'm the one you chose to love?"
"I'm not sure how long i can go on for without driving myself insane with all this love for you. Please just... just do with this confession what you will and set me free."
"I like how obsessed with me you are," A smiles. "Makes me feel like the most important person in the whole world."
"Stop smiling. It does things to me I'd rather not talk about."
So with the Percy Jackson series coming out I want to talk about obsessive gatekeeping in fandom. The Harry Potter fandom was obsessed with if you didn't read the book you weren't a real fan. This is a show with a ton of input from the author, it will be plenty accurate and I'm sure if you wanted even more content the books would give you that, but this is about kids with ADHD and dyslexia. This was the story that told me it was okay that I couldn't get through a book a day, when all the other fandoms around me turned me off to their stories. I am so excited for the kids who just can't enjoy reading to get to experience this story. And I hope some of them decide to give reading a try, or to see if audiobooks are a better fit. Welcoming these kids into the fandom with open arms will do a lot more for bringing out an interest in reading in them than shaming them for not reading the books.
These are so useful
