First off, I really need to get this off my chest because it’s been bugging me for the longest time.
I really can’t believe that there are people who would accuse Rafa of retiring because “he is a sore loser and knew he would be demolished by Del Potro.”
I, personally, felt that there was definitely something wrong with him at the beginning of the match. It broke my heart more to see him call a medical time out and have his knee strapped once more. Yet, Rafa still continued to play to show respect to his opponent.
Look at what happened last year: after winning the US Open, he participated in Laver Cup less than 2 weeks later, and played the most matches for team Europe. Almost another 2 weeks later, he played and won in Beijing, then played in Shanghai and lost to Roger in the final. Almost another 2 weeks later (I think), he played in Paris, only to pull out in the second round I think and it was quite obvious that he was limping. Finally, the ATP World Tour Finals. Rafa lost in the 1st Round Robin, with his limp clearer than daylight.
I mean, don’t you think Rafa does not want to repeat his mistakes last year, especially when he has been talking more on wanting to play longer? I get it with Roger. It was difficult for him to move because the conditions were more difficult that anyone else expected (like Novak nearly suffering from a heatstroke again). With Rafa, he already played 2 grueling matches that everyone thought would be easy for him. Then the epic almost 5 hour match against Thiem. It definitely would take a massive toll on me as well.
Sorry for the long rant. I just REALLY had to get this off my chest. I’m just praying Rafa has a speedy and successful recovery 🙏🏻🙏🏻🙏🏻. If there’s anything Rafael Nadal does best, he bounces back no matter what 💪🏻. ¡VAMOS, MI CAMPEÓN! 🇪🇸🎾🔥
THANK YOU! 👏🏻 AND I’M NOT EVEN AMERICAN
Nothing’s funnier than seeing “hardcore” racing fans whining and seething on the opening ceremony and call it extra like what gets you so worked up… chill it’s just a ceremony. Also I know the music & racing sched placement is a bit jarring (I’ve heard that they decided to put Post Malone and qualifying at the same hour) but that doesn’t mean the whole thing is lame lol. As a a fan of both worlds I appreciate every effort to bring the best from two entirely different things
The entire time, I felt like I was gonna die of either a stroke or a heart attack 😂😂😂 Rafa proves time and time again that he is one of the greatest fighters in the tennis world 🎾. Props to Domi as well. Making more than 70 winners and even bagel a set from Rafa. These two are absolute warriors on court.
and only after a few minutes, this went downhill 😂
can someone explain how williams is now a mid field team?????????
31…actually don’t mind that 😂
the amount of letters in your full name is now your forever age. what is it?
Zhou honey, you should at the very least get some rest 🥺

SAY IT LOUDER!!!
For all people who say "poor aegon aemond is bitch how can he how dare he", do you remember how two years ago you said exactly the opposite thing?
Seriously, I don't understand all that hype and problem about what Aemond did cause...it was expected?
Seriously, I am the only one who really expected this from Aemond?
Did you people even watch the show? Aegon is an idiot who never took his brother seriously. He doesn't think before talking or doing something. He bullied Aemond, he thinks of him as a hound, which always will execute commands and never bite the hand that feeds. But Aegon forgot that he IS NOT the hand that feeds Aemond. He never was.
And Aemond? He is full of rage for what Aegon did to him and full of jealousy cause he thinks that he is better than Aegon and deserves the crown more than his brother. Aemond doesn’t forgive and doesn't forget. And when he is in rage, he can do really terrible things, he doesn't think about consequences.
I don't want to say that Aegon and Aemond didn't love each other at all, but...their brotherly bond is sick, traumatized, and toxic. After everything, what happened with them, with family, they just don't know what it's like to be a brothers and how they should do that. When Aegon needed a friend, Aemond ignored him. And when Aemond needed his older brother, Aegon hurt him.
There is a lot of pain and hatred between them.
The real question is, did Aemond plan all of this, or did he just seize the moment? Or maybe it was another rush like with Luke?
P.s. for people who say that in the books, Aemond was absolutely loyal to his brother.
No. There is a theory that exists since the book was published that Aemond wanted to kill Aegon in the battle of Rook's rest, and he was responsible for Aegons injuries. No one could prove or disprove that, but still, it looks like true.
So, this moment can be seen as one of the few things relevant to the books.
We say goodbye to another great tennis player and fighter, David Ferrer 🇪🇸😭. His speed made up for his height. Such a shame he had to end it by pulling out in the midst of the match. Clearly, he has a very dear friendship with Rafa and it makes me so happy that Rafa was his very last grand slam opponent. He plans to play one last time for Spain 🇪🇸 in the Davis Cup, which is around the next month. Hopefully, his calf injury does not affect him 🙏🏻. After that, he will hang up his racquet 😭. Wishing all the best for him and his family 🙏🏻❤️.
Also idk what makes me angrier: the way Lewis celebrated this win, or the way the fans disgustingly cheered louder as Max was hit and crashed
I am just full of mixed feelings:
- Happy for Lewis and just in awe of his race - kinda sad for Charles because he fully deserved to win as well considering how he drove with the motor issues - devastated for Max and just hoping he’s okay - ecstatic for Daniel for being able to hold P5 even when Carlos was within a second the entire race - wondering what could’ve been for Lando if the pitstop had been okay.
Had an incredibly rough and crappy day today, yet everything faded away as soon as I saw this photo of mi campeón. His incredibly beautiful smile brought out mine 💙❤️💛. Congratulations to both Rafa and Garbiñe! 👏🏻🇪🇸🎾
