And then we still had some time to enjoy a little bit; we were going around the island a little bit, trying to enjoy the water, so just spending time like two regular guys it didn’t feel — the best thing it didn’t feel like any competing or anything like this, and I think this is so important, like a healthy I’d say rivalry but it’s not exactly the way it is. We compete against each other but in the same time we kind of could put everything aside, we didn’t have to talk about tennis all the time, we enjoyed other topics and just spent some time together. I was very frank with him, and very straight, I was like ‘listen, I want to ask you some things’ and he’s ‘yeah sure, ask me’ so I was just asking him right away without pulling back, and yeah, he was actually a little bit surprised sometimes which was pretty funny but I’m a pretty straight-up person so that’s cool.”

While I am absolutely happy that Checo got a podium today, it irks me seeing comments like this when an incident like what happened today happens and it’s out of Max’s hands. What did you guys think? That he himself caused his fuel to leak out, causing his car to catch fire? Either way, congrats to Checo for being able to get P2 and overtaking and defending against the Mercs so beautifully 👏🏻

Am I the only one ANNOYED and PISSED OFF about Marin Cilic's behavior after Rafa retired from their match?

First of all, this is my opinion so please don't start a flame war. Second, I can't believe Cilic acted like he ACTUALLY WON the entire 5th set. I get it, you win, it's okay to celebrate. But that match was NOT a real win for him. Do you see Rafa doing THAT whenever his opponents retire, I THINK NOT! He even has the courtesy to clap for them as they leave the court. Only then does he celebrate, but even after that, he STILL acknowledges that injured opponent during his own press conferences.

Now, I'm 100% a Nadal fan, but I'm willing to watch the men's singles final (since my mom LOVES Federer) just to see Roger pummel and destroy his ass on court.

For all people who say "poor aegon aemond is bitch how can he how dare he", do you remember how two years ago you said exactly the opposite thing?

Seriously, I don't understand all that hype and problem about what Aemond did cause...it was expected?

Seriously, I am the only one who really expected this from Aemond?

Did you people even watch the show? Aegon is an idiot who never took his brother seriously. He doesn't think before talking or doing something. He bullied Aemond, he thinks of him as a hound, which always will execute commands and never bite the hand that feeds. But Aegon forgot that he IS NOT the hand that feeds Aemond. He never was.

And Aemond? He is full of rage for what Aegon did to him and full of jealousy cause he thinks that he is better than Aegon and deserves the crown more than his brother. Aemond doesn’t forgive and doesn't forget. And when he is in rage, he can do really terrible things, he doesn't think about consequences.

I don't want to say that Aegon and Aemond didn't love each other at all, but...their brotherly bond is sick, traumatized, and toxic. After everything, what happened with them, with family, they just don't know what it's like to be a brothers and how they should do that. When Aegon needed a friend, Aemond ignored him. And when Aemond needed his older brother, Aegon hurt him.

There is a lot of pain and hatred between them.

The real question is, did Aemond plan all of this, or did he just seize the moment? Or maybe it was another rush like with Luke?

P.s. for people who say that in the books, Aemond was absolutely loyal to his brother.

No. There is a theory that exists since the book was published that Aemond wanted to kill Aegon in the battle of Rook's rest, and he was responsible for Aegons injuries. No one could prove or disprove that, but still, it looks like true.

So, this moment can be seen as one of the few things relevant to the books.

I cannot imagine the position the teams and drivers are in and would never want to be in. (This is just my take on it and apologies for the long rant) I don’t hate the drivers for them ultimately deciding to agree to race. I honestly don’t. This is a “damned if they do, damned if they don’t” situation. They run the massive risk of not being able to leave the country if they speak out. Yes, these are rich athletes, but think about their teams, their engineers, etc. It’s possible these people could have an even more difficult time trying to leave. They need to think about the teams as an entirety here and even if they did want to speak fight for their message, the risk greatly outweighs them. There aren’t going to be army forces rushing in to save them from god knows what they could be subjected to at the split second this happens. If recent events have taught us anything, there would be a great number of casualties before something even happens to try to get these people out. I just hope and pray for the utmost safety of the drivers and their teams and that this finally wakes up the FIA to do something and cancel this godforsaken Grand Prix and make sure it doesn’t see the light of day ever.

People should stop blaming the drivers for deciding to race. First, they didn't hold out for 4 fucking hours just for the funsies. Clearly they didn't want to race. And second, I too would drive around that dangerous as fuck circuit in the middle of a warzone if I was threatened with the possibility of never leaving the country if I didn't do as told.

We say goodbye to another great tennis player and fighter, David Ferrer 🇪🇸😭. His speed made up for his height. Such a shame he had to end it by pulling out in the midst of the match. Clearly, he has a very dear friendship with Rafa and it makes me so happy that Rafa was his very last grand slam opponent. He plans to play one last time for Spain 🇪🇸 in the Davis Cup, which is around the next month. Hopefully, his calf injury does not affect him 🙏🏻. After that, he will hang up his racquet 😭.
