we need to make a new rule that unless you're doing a "top favorites" kind of list you can't put fics with 1k+ kudos on a fic rec bc whenever I look up fic recs in a fandom it's the same 5-10 popular ones over and over so a lot of well written (and often Better written) fics with less kudos continue to go unnoticed
