Even if he idolized the Jedi...he still has Yoda, Anakin and Kenobi to tell him what went wrong. Besides Luke proved them wrong in ROTJ by redeeming Anakin anyway so not only has he already learned the lesson. Luke already made this mistake in Jedi. He already went through all of this in his head. He was violent with his father because he threatened his sister. He realized what he was doing, and tossed his saber aside, denouncing violence. He quite literally did exactly what you said he did in TLJ, he saved the day through sacrifice and non-violence, the way a true Jedi should. He already learned this lesson. And you’re saying he would make the same mistake again, after 20+ years, and that him learning from it all over again and going through the same motions isn’t a bastardization of his character? Sure.

Listen. Luke fans aren’t stupid. Insinuating that you’re smarter than us because you like this story just makes you look bad. If you like it, that’s fine. But I’m kind of sick of being told I’m not smart enough to understand shit.

Finn & POE MORE THOUGHTS

RJ took everything wrong with the Finn Arc from TFA and instead of fixing, he double down on it. More Comic Relief, More of Finn being less capable then a female except this time it isnt Rey the supposed lead instead he gets shown up my a new character, RJ invented just to try to kill FinnRey. Heck she even goes one step further teaches him life lessons like he is fucking child. The only positive is he gets to beat Phasma through Phasma making a mistake. Heck about the only thing Finn had going for him was plot relevance and RJ decides to say fuck that as well. Nothing Finn does matter.

RJ then decides you know fuck TFA showing Poe as a trusted competent resistance leader that Leia trust. Oh and fuck the Poe Comics as well that is not Poe you get here. Now you got Poe the gladstanding showoff carelessly risking lifes who hates taking orders from women. Leia doesnt keep him around because he is competent and trusted and she worked with his parents. No he is kept around because hey he is dumb and sexist but at least he looks hot. Also a reoccurring issue nothing he does matters.

Finn and Poe are bonded by getting fucking tasered for no reason. And being utterly irrelevant. Its like RJ got his ideas about Black People, Latinos and Asians from fucking Stormfront. Blacks are dumb only good for jokes. Latinos are also dumb only good if they are hot. Asians are smart. And they all should be plot irrelevant.

Good work although I am pretty forgiving of Volume 1 since they were small and indie. It reminds me of OOTS a webcomic where it was more DnD Parody for around the first 100 issues but after that it became less about jokes and 4th wall breaking and more an actual story. Except in RWBY’s case the transition never occurred and everything from the fights, to the plotting, to the dialogue has on average gotten worse in my book of late.

Fixing RWBY - Part 1

RWBY is a great and very promising show. Sadly in a lot of cases, it does not quite live up on it’s set-up or squanders it completely. Everybody knows there’s quite a few flaws in each Volume and a lot of things that could have been done better.

So I have been in progress of rewriting and working on each Volume and after a few very annoying data, losses, the Volume 1 fix-up is finally complete. Volume 1 got quite a lot of flack due to overtly padded out Jaune’s story arc and certain other issues, so hopefully this can fix some of that.

Oh god if the latest spoilers are true. I am beyond disgusted. I simply do not see how RJ got a trilogy off this shit. Well I do KK only ever gave a fuck about Kylo Ren and Adam Driver. So Fuck Feminism and Fuck Diversity.

1) Luke sees the Darkness in Kylo caused by Snoke and tries to kill him with a lightsaber. Luke Skywalker the man who tried to save his father. Who threw down his own lightsaber to try to save his Evil Father from the Dark Side rather then strike him down. Decides to attempt to murder a defenseless child to save the Galaxy. How the fuck is this not character assassination of the highest order? No wonder Mark hated shit. George Lucas should sue.

2) Shirtless Kylo scene where Rey blushes and tells Kylo to put his shirt on you heard that right the supposed main lead and heroine getting wet over then man who killed her supposed Mentor/his father, maimed her best friend, tried to break into her mind and tossed her into a tree along with being a high ranking fascist regime member who aided genocide and civilian slaughter....this is truly a nightmare and a Reylo and Alt Righters wet dream.

Plus the difference is Teferi seems like the main character or at least main non gatewatch character. He has got the packs, the big poster and the planeswalker deck. He has gotten resparked, the Weatherlight is owned by Tolaria, and he has got the family now? That is alot of ground to cover in Dominaria as opposed to Chandra who is only tied to Jaya. Plus WOTC knows fans will riot if they bring Jaya back and dont give her a planeswalker card at all.

Why do you think Teferi gets a planeswalker deck as well as a card in the set proper, whilst Jaya doesn't? Is it because Jace just got a planeswalker deck in Ixalan (and would have got one otherwise)?

I think it’s more a matter of them wanted to have balanced decks and they probably picked he planeswalkers last. White Blue screams Teferi, and then Chandra is probably in the story and they wanted to fit her in.

Why the fuck do they think this is a positive. These are trilogies not solo movies. Trilogies, how do you not make sure the movies properly connect. Wtf do KK and her merry band of “Story Group” actually fucking do.

I brought it up for TFA but its funny when we get the first Black Male Lead in Star Wars suddenly the standard rules for how you treat a male lead no longer apply. I mean Finn is similar to Luke ignoring (Luke being the overall main lead and having the Force) difference is Luke never got beat up by his friends and while he did have some embarrassing stuff happen to him he still got to end ANH strong. Landing the final shots on the Deathstar. Finn meanwhile ends in a coma at RJ request and lost every fight including one to a stomtrooper (a first in Star Wars) and to Rey of course despite being top of his class in tie ins in comabt.

He then enters TLJ and opens worrying about Rey (who is making googly eyes at Kylo if the rumors are too be trusted) and getting tazered by Rose. Before getting demoted to the B-Plot which incidentally includes all the POC with no Force Powers in Finn, Poe, Rose, DJ and Paige Tico with less screen time then Kylo. And apparently the B-Plot wasn't all that interesting since everyone is gushing about Kylo, Luke and Rey. I mean sure it looks like he beats Phasma but there was no development between Finn and Phasma in TFA...there was between Finn and Kylo but does anyone really thing FInn will even the socre against Kylo like a real Male Lead? I dont. 

Absolutely sickening this window dressing Diversity and the wide scale acceptance of it in the fandom and the press. Disney is lucky Black Panther is coming so soon or I be boycotting their products.

In none of the other 8 Star Wars films were any of the villains given more screentime and importance than the heroes, in none. Not even Darth Vader. So I am sorry, but I am going to call bullshit that when two of the three major heroes are men of color, suddenly the only other young-ish white dude who happens to be the villain needs to have more screentime than the actual male hero. 

And before any of you Kyle fans comes at me “but he is the Skywalker of the trilogy!!!”, first of all, there are two other Skywalkers actually in the good side. Half of you are the same people who bend backwards saying how Rey should be a random because the trilogy doesn’t have to focus on a Skywalker.

But then suddenly it needs to focus on Kylo because he is one? 

Yeah, you can’t have it both fucking ways. 

They are making Rey pathetic. Oh he feels so bad did she forget what happens after he kills his father? Instead of curling up into a ball or going to find medical treatment after Chewie shoots him or going to stop the Starkiller from killing his mother. He decides to try to drag Rey  before Snoke causing a scuffle that results in her supposed BFF going into a fucking coma and also includes throwing her into a tree.

But because Luke tried to kill him for being evil (ignore the character assassination)? That justifies killing Han. Killing Lor San Tekka, Slaughtering a bunch of villages and joining a fascist regime that loves child soldiers and destroying solar system, and killing all the resistance.

I am sorry wanting to bang a girl cause you think she is hot and you can make super babies does not make someone good or conflicted. Plenty of serial killers have had families and been upstanding members of their communities.
