peter kept his promise of writing a letter to lara jean every once a week
they call every night before going to sleep
sometimes, without telling lara jean, he drives to UNC and surprise her
then they both drive back to surprise their adopted child (a.k.a. kitty)
lara jean forces peter to help her bake but somehow it always ends up with them throwing flour at each other
lara jean pretends to get mad at peter but is secretly enjoying it as much as he does
they spend their weekends going around the city trying all the famous bakeries to find the best macarons (something lara jean is into right now after she made the perfect chocolate chip cookies)
when peter has a big game lara jean would leave school early and surprise him and wears his jersey that she DIYed
for peter's birthday lara jean hosted a party (yes a party) because she knows peter enjoys parties
of course she had help from chris
peter is genuinely surprised when all his friends from highscool showed up
when he found out lara jean was behind all this he went up to hug her and kiss her in front of everyone
lara jean can't stop blushing

Oh mi gahd
While everybody is raving about their reluctance to let go of Percy, I silently took out my box set for a photo shoot. Then I made a date to finally make his acquaintance.
Okay I’m usually not one of those “ha I’ve been a fan the whole damn time” people but I can honestly say that being a Sansa fan since s1 has been so damn rewarding as the seasons go on.
Like obviously the writing isn’t great towards her (or any female really lbr) but what they give to her for successes are so satisfying. Sansa was criticized and hated for being too whiny, defenseless, too weak and ultimately too important. And yet, this “unimportant” character?
Sansa gets to say the long-awaited “winter is here” line. Sansa gets to kill off Ramsay, arguably the worst villain since Joffrey. Sansa gets to rule Winterfell in season 7. Sansa is the first Stark sibling to get the initial reunion scene with another Starkling - all three times.
It’s been years in the making and it sure as hell hasn’t been perfect but seeing Sansa get to do these iconic things after people have been calling her useless is the greatest payoff e v e r.

Okay but the importance of romanticising soft kind thoughtful boys who are open about their feelings and sweet in general cannot be overstated. More romantic leads who check in on their girls , who don’t care about being seen as “whipped” , who go out of their way to bond with little sisters and moms and dads , and who don’t try to change the girl they’re with at all. We need to romanticise soft kind boys, so that young girls see soft kind boys as the ideal romantic partner. Teach young girls through media that being with the asshole guy isn’t what they need, teach young girls to find kind boys who actually talk to them about real stuff, who watch the movies they like, who never tease them or mock them, who stand up for them and are never ever embarrassed of them, who notice their smarts and their personality, who understand their fears and their struggles, and actually care about them. If we make that the ideal Love Interest™️ character more young girls will see that as someone to strive for, and maybe less of them will settle for guys who treat them poorly because of it.
I can so see this!
