Israeli forces (backed by Joe Biden) invaded al-Shia hospital last night because they where convinced Hamas is using medical complexes for military purposes. For over 10 hours patients, staff and refugees were interrogated and over 200 civilians were blindfolded, stripped naked and detained in the hospital yard. They shot at anyone moving in the hospital trying to leave and the power, oxygen and water was cut off. There was no evidence found that the hospital was used by Hamas in any way, but Israel has not addressed that yet. Israel also made a statement that they brought baby food and incubators into the hospital, but all sources from inside the hospital say no aid was given- which besides being a false claim, what al-Shifa needs is electricity (which Israel cut off) not incubators.

Because of lack of fuel and reliance on batteries, Gaza is currently hours away from a complete communications blackout and I am afraid of what other lies and propaganda Israel will try to spread while Palestine is forced to be silent.

"Matchless Under Moonlight, The Crimson Pomegranate" or how to make akatsuki pomegranate hibiscus tea ^-^

ingredience:

- 4 cups water

- 1/3 cup loose hibiscus tea

- 1 cup pomegranate nectar

- serve with ice, lemon and fresh rosemary

bring water to a boil and steep your loose tea in it for around 4 minutes. strain the tea. pour in pomegranate juice, remove from the stove and let it cool until, well, cooled (and remember, never put hot things right away in the fridge!! let it sit and reach room temperature first).

fill a glass (previously refrigerated) with ice, pour in your tea, add a lemon wedge and rosemary on top 👍

notes: it is also very nice when consumed hot (tho in that case use a cup/mug instead. glass does not do well with rapid changes in temperature. for that same reason really make sure to chill your tea before adding it to a glass full of ice, suddenly pouring in hot drink will make your glass explode everywhere)

rei’s monologue in the second to last chapter is everything to me. maybe I’m reading into it too much, but this feels like foreshadowing for deeper adonis development… “adonis’ love is a wonderful thing. sweet, pure, and warm. and that’s why it’s so poisonous.”

ive always believed the reason why rei and adonis developed so differently despite being so similar deep down was because rei grew up shouldering the burdens of an adult and seeing love as indistinguishable from obligation, while adonis grew up in a truly loving family, so he has a healthier conception of love. but adonis is also just as self-sacrificing. maybe that changed between saqr faith in !-era and burning body in !!, where adonis goes from singing about not caring if his body is burned up by the sun to singing about wanting this fire in him to drive him… but maybe it hasn’t changed. will rei have to stand by and watch as adonis is devoured by his own love? as his mother’s love “becomes a chain that binds him”?

The last days of the petition against conversion therapy are FASCINATING to watch. I have been following it pretty closely for almost a year now, and the progress was, above all, steady. There was this jump when some algorithm in Finland picked it up, but even that was local.

And now, everyone is panicking.

Which really shows.

These past three or four days, multiple countries have reached the threshold. Even more notably, the number of signatures in total, the ones that we need to get one million of, are growing rapidly. There are only 400'000 signatures missing. Two days ago, it was closer to 600'000.
