Always feel bad when I see someone say something like "I don't have a disability but I have [something that is a disability but society doesn't treat like one]"
Migraines. Food allergies. GERD. Vision problems. Skin problems. For people that menstruate, conditions that cause irregular and painful cycles. Those are all disabling. Anything that impairs you from functioning or completing a basic life task without accommodation is a disability. Anything that makes you spend days in bed during a flare up is a disability! Not everyone experiences your symptoms and you're not being weak or whiny.
Mental illnesses that people treat as "mainstream" these days like anxiety, depression, or ADHD are still disabilities. Overcoming a massive struggle just to get out of bed, slow down your thoughts, or focus on what you need/want to do is disabling. Starting the day with less mental energy than most people is disabling.
For the migraine people: yes, everyone gets headaches, but no not everyone gets migraines. It's a condition that can be inherited in which our nerves are literally wired differently and more sensitive than someone who doesn't get migraines.
For the food allergy and digestive disorder people: if you eat something your body can't tolerate, you become sick. Doesn't matter if it's a trip to the ER or skin irritation for a few hours, that's a negative response in your body. Going hungry at social events because you can't eat anything, that's not something you just have to grin and bear. Prohibitively expensive or hard-to-find accessible food. Most people have the privilege of not worrying about eating.
For people with abnormal menstrual cycles: you don't have to suck it up because "lots of people get periods, no one likes them, but they all deal with it." Majority of people who get periods don't spend days in bed with debilitating pain or nausea. Your heightened struggle is real. Going months between cycles can increase your risk of health conditions down the line, and it's good to speak to a gynecologist if you have access to one.
If you are feeling discomfort on a regular basis in any part of your body, or if you usually feel unwell after eating, that isn't normal and you deserve medical attention and support
This is for people of Israel/anyone who supports Israel/anyone who wants to stay "neutral" about this genocide, remember that this is how your fav "defenders/heroes/government servants are supposed to be responsible" are talking about innocent Palestinians civilians:
If you choose not to speak on this matter, if you choose to not speak up for Palestinians, then be well assured, 100% guaranteed that what's happening in Palestine can (and will if you let Israel get away with MASS MURDER) also just as easily happen to you, and then there will be other people who would stay "neutral" and silent on this matter.
If you think that the reason you're not taking sides is because you don't really know the situation that well, then EDUCATE yourself. It is your responsibility, as a fucking human, to do your research to stop and prevent such atrocities from being committed.
(I know, I FUCKING KNOW I have at least a few dozen followers from Israel/support Israel/ZIONISTS who are reading this and I know that your eyes may be blind, but your hearts aren't. Don't be a hypocrite, and don't be ignorant)
Dennis keeping binders about his friends always makes me so sad cuz it appears controlling while it's actually just out of pure love. To Dennis, being known by someone else is what he desperately seeks and he offers that freely to the rest of the gang.
100% certain this scene is the reason Jeff went to therapy.
And honestly, Jeff wouldn't have listened to anyone else. Especially s1 Jeff who has a line telling Abed "why are we the only sane ones here". Because yeh, the other characters aren't necessarily better than him. To Jeff, someone else telling him that advice would have sounded condescending. But Abed doesn't pity him and doesn't shy away from saying it as it is. Abed is like hey Jeff that's alarming behavior and I care about you so you should seek a professional for that. And Jeff gets it. And actually follows through. He meant it when he said that Abed in this episode was his wake up call.
They're two sides of the same coin and Jeff finally sees that other side of the coin and goes oh I have the potential to be a good person...yeh I want that.

I'm currently rewatching the Rose Tyler era of Doctor Who and all my timepetals feelings are back
Fools fight over who's better between ninerose and tenrose when you can't have one without the other!!
Ninerose was the era of falling in love, it was banter and teasing, and it was mostly focused on the two of them, so it really made it so intimate and special. You see firsthand the impact both had on each other, with Nine's character development. How he doesn't do family but alters the universe to keep Rose's father alive. How he says he doesn't care about idiot Rickey Mickey but he'd invite him on the TARDIS so he can look after her.
You see how they hold each other close to their heart, how they lose themselves in each other's presence. Holding each other's gaze.
Tenrose is an already established love but now with a totally new face, so both of them pulled back a little for the sake of the other. You get such a shyer love, with a lot of physical touch but unfinished sentences. You get promises. Stolen glances.
The way Ten says "and it is gonna be...fantastic" on the first day of his regeneration because he wanted to reassure Rose that nothing much changed.
The way on that same day, she invites him over for a family Christmas dinner, fully accepting him.
The way he asks her on where to go next and gets lost in her expression, still processing the pure joy she has to be traveling with him, that she truly doesn't mind. That he didn't lose her.
And this dynamic works so well because we had ninerose before.
"Just tell her... tell her... oh she knows."
"Pick one reference Abed"

YES. YES YES YES YES. YES. A MILLION TIMES YES.
Woahh does Glenn know he's credited alongside Mike Patton how didn't he cream his pants
one of my favorite things is how hard Glenn always laughs, with his full body and volume out of control, and in my mind it ties really well with how Dennis feels things so much deeper than others. It's nice to think that laughter is also smth that would be amplified for him and not just angst, u know?
do you guys feel shiv's total trust in tom, but manifesting not as love but in how she picked him over nate because nate broke when she tried playing with him but she said that line to tom with absolute certainty that he's better, that he's stronger than that
people will be quick to say shiv underestimates tom and while that's true for his business experience, she overestimates his toughness as seen by her frequent pleas of "i need you"
to shiv, tom is her rock, tom is the guy she met when she was at the lowest point in her life, tom is strong and he can take being played with and she can "build a home thinking she's strong there" but she also undermines the implications of how a marriage is a teamwork and so nothing important can be build if she doesn't put in her own share of the work
