once upon a time, a friend of mine was writing a silly short horror story and she wrote this metaphor that went something like "its skin stretched over its bones like a balloon full of sticks" and that has stuck with me for years since. Almost every passing day I see something and think of the balloon full of sticks. The visuals, a silliness, the horror once you visualize past the silliness. Masterful. I work at a gas station at night. For whatever reason, generally, the store gets empty around 10 and then gets clusters of people at 11. So I, when I come back out from the back room and see people... I have not played Minecraft in MONTHS. For whatever reason, my first thought is
