okay this thought has been rattling around in my brain for like. two days now

so like, killing elias kills all the institute employees, right? heart of the institute whatever, we been knew. hard and fast rule, excluding ppl powerful in their own rights who could maybe weather the connection being severed

and the only way to quit the institute is to stab out your eyes, and sever the connection to the beholding that way.

so like. what happens if you stab out elias's eyes? if you steal jonah's eyes out of his skull after taking a knife to them? would that free all the employees? would that sever jonah's connection to the beholding, perhaps give og!elias his body back?

personally i think melanie should have gotten to at least TRY that. as a treat.

I had another idea for the Rich Old Man Squad roadtrip au

its not much but yk how on most roadtrips you rotate between drivers so one person isnt driving the whole time? yeah well tgat doesnt happen here, peter drives the whole time. its not just that though; all pf them have their own little spot and theres an unspoken agreement that everyone stays in their spot. so example elias rides shotgun the whole time, simon rides in the back on the drivers side, etc.

oh also simon is that little bitch who annoys everyone (mostly peter though) by going “are we there yet” every five seconds 💀

ok bc I saw someone ask this yes simon absolutely makes the road go on forever, much to the chagrin of everyone else, when peter annoys him.

at one point salesa did actually notice and asked about it. elias and peter both gave him the “if looks could kill” glare while simon just grinned at him. rayner continued to glare out the window and regret every life choice that brought him here.

peter is very much considering closing the window.

and yes, of course elias is riding shotgun bc it was either him or simon (rayner and salesa claimed their spots in the back pretty quickly and leitner is…. somewhere (hes in the trunk but its fine shhh)) and peter wouldve driven them off the road by now if he had to have simon next to him the whole time. as much as they annoy each other, peter would very much rather have his husband next to him than simon fucking fairchild. (I love simon with all my heart hes so me core)

(this is definitely not inspired by that one piece of fanart that I cant find the creator of where jon is doing a statement while martin listens to the macarena)

jon is doing a statement from like probably a spiral domain, though it doesnt really matter which fear it is, and martin decides he wants to try and make jon laugh while doing a statement so while jon is sitting like kinda on the floor against the wall martin is halfway across the room(with headphones on) and makes direct eye contact with jon the whole time while doing the macarena but bc of weird eye magic jon cant really see him until he finishes the statement, so he finishes up and kinda does that thing where you like blink and shake yourself out of a stupor, sees martin and cracks up laughing
