I know this sounds like the deranged ramblings of a senile old man but I swear it used to be possible to look up information on the internet

I’ve seen a lot of videos going around of urban-dwelling critters coming to humans for help with various problems, ranging from boxes stuck on their heads to young trapped down a storm drain, and it’s gotten me to thinking:
On the one hand, it’s kind of fascinating that they know to do that.
On the other hand, setting any questions of how this sort of behaviour must have arisen aside for the nonce, does it ever strike you how weird it is that we’ve got a whole collection of prey species whose basic problem-solving script ends with the step “if all else fails, go bother one of the local apex predators and maybe they’ll fix the problem for no reason”?
Absolutely my vibes. Man, I need to get back into making Little Guys ™ (gender neutral) because they really bring such joy to life ☺️

just read “to be loved is to be worth the inconvenience” it blew my mind away
Murderbot, when interacting with anything: thinks in a string of biting asides and sardonic observations in between pondering death, mayhem and carnage. Also Murderbot, when confronted with an even more sarcastic transport ship's snark: You SNARK Miette? You SNARK MIETTE LIKE I'M A VULNERABLE EMOTIONAL BEING THAT WANTS TO FEEL SAFE? Oh OH! Jail for giant hyperintelligent transport ship! etc.
Love this so much

I just wanted to say I LOVE your Locked Tomb art, but specifically the one where you drew the house necromancers and their cavaliers bc it really helped me differentiate the characters when I was reading the first book!!! I convinced my dad to read it too, and he was having the same problem so I got to be like “hang on I know a guy”. I love your art!!
Glad you liked it!
I actually made all those headshots in order to have them for a YouTube video I was making that would make reading the first book easier, because it's such a huge thing to navigate as a first time reader. So I'm glad they're serving their purpose!
one of the most challenging skills i've had to learn as an adult is the art of figuring out whether i'm proportionally annoyed with someone or just tired and overstimulated and looking for reasons to be pissed off
