manifesting california by chappell roan to be featured in 8b during eddie’s crisis moving to tx/leaving buck
the only endings that I will accept, perfectly written 🫶
Eloise should either:
End up alone as a successful novelist who travels the world
Be a lesbian and a successful novelist who travels the world and gets with beautiful women from the countries she visits
Be a lesbian and a successful novelist who travels the world with a committed lesbian lover
Be married to Theo Sharpe and a successful novelist who travels the world with him
I’ll take anything as long as it’s not her book ending
If Jemily and Buddie both go canon in 2024 it will heal every bit of trauma the CW queerbaits left on my soul.

i have a dissenting opinion.
i have been seeing some variation of the "jemily won't happen because x" posts for a couple of weeks now and many of them are something along the lines how it wouldn't be realistic because jj has been married for 12 years/been with will for 17 years, they have kids, will just had a cancer scare, etc. etc.
and listen, i don't think it's going to happen either. i'm 95% sure it isn't going to happen. but not because it wouldn't be realistic for jj to hop into a relationship within a year after losing or divorcing will??? y'all. humans are fucking messy.
it's one thing to not want jj to jump into emily's arms in this situation. that's totally valid. but to say it WOULDN'T happen is simply naive. long term relationships end and people move on quickly all the time. i hate to be the bearer of bad news, but sometimes people even move on before leaving their current long term relationships. do i think jj would do that? no.
do i think she and will could separate (even after his cancer scare, especially after his cancer scare), and she could move on at a speed that is potentially unhealthy for her and everyone else involved? absolutely. jj is troubled. she always has been. she has never consistently made great decisions. and that is part of what makes her character rich and intriguing and relatable and wonderful. that's part of what makes all the characters on this show so great. they're all fucked up, guys.
the reason i don't think it's going to happen is because that would require cbs to approve 3 out of the 4 female leads being queer. and not just a casual mention of this-woman-who-is-married-to-a-man-happens-to-be-bisexual queer, but actively-engaging-in-wlw-behavior queer. and while paramount plus is the premium cable equivalent of cbs (dating myself with that...), it's still cbs. getting gay tara, while wonderful and thrilling, was the nail in the jemily coffin imo.
THAT BEING SAID. can y'all chill with calling the people who are excited about the teased possibility crazy and delusional take a breath? it's okay for fans to be excited about the possibility. it doesn't make them dumb. this is what fandom is about. i'm excited about the possibility because it's fucking fun. it gives me something to hope for. it's like talking about santa claus at christmas. do i expect a fat man to squeeze down my chimney? no. but i'm going to pretend because it's fun. leave them alone. let them hope and play and make headcanons for how it might happen.
especially because, from a true-to-life storytelling perspective, it's not crazy at all.
so apparently 911 is just fanfic now? okk, here's my submission/theory:
Eddie has left and Buck is now officially moved in. Buck feels weird about sleeping in Eddie’s room, so he sleeps on the couch (cause why not? he loves that couch!) and he kinda realizes he has more feelings about living in Eddie’s house without Eddie than he originally thought but that makes him sad so he shoves them down. Cue the return of s1 slut era buck!! Buck starts sleeping around again, hookups but he obviously doesn’t bring them back to Eddie’s (now his) house. And during like a montage of hookups someone suggests going his (buck’s) place but Buck shoots him/her down. So Buck is crashing out, he hooks up, he comes back to Eddie’s house, Eddie is gone, he sleeps on the couch, he is sad kicked puppy in burning animal shelter. Now at some point someone (likely a member of the 118, my guess would be Hen) notices the return of s1 buck tendencies and tries to talk to him about it but he probably just insists he’s fine, its not a problem, & he runs when they try and connect it to Eddie leaving. That night, Buck goes out again, he and someone (probably a guy, possibly even physically reminiscent of Eddie cause why not?) they almost hook up, Buck stops it, not being able to stop hearing what Hen said to him. So he goes home alone and like the sad kicked puppy he is, and he falls on the couch. BUT he can’t fall asleep, he’s uncomfortable (he’s been sleeping on a couch for weeks now), and he can’t stop thinking about Eddie (he's like right on the cusp of realizing his feelings might not totally platonic but he cannot get there). So he gets up, he goes into Eddie’s room and he falls asleep in Eddie’s bed (also that uhaul looks tiny so I get to say it’s the same bed)
soooo.... do i write this or just wait for the show to do it for me???
im actually thinking so much about masc lesbian nick miller
WAIT HOLD ON you’re telling me that sleeping warrior paralleled snowing with “you’re…a girl.” “woman.” AND THEY STILL WEREN’T CANON?!
People saying Eddie would be abusive towards Buck?
I’m putting y’all in time out until you behave also if I were to knock on your head it would echo how stupid are you
