being in a city that’s rich in punk history is kind of annoying when you also go to one of the most expensive schools on financial aid and scholarship because there’s so many rich kids that try to act “poor” for the “punk” aesthetic. like oh your family income is over half a million a year, but you’re stealing things from stores??? and you also hate it when people find out your family is fucking rich???

then there’s like joint activities with neighboring schools that are also fucking expensive, and it’s just like a bunch of rich kids wearing crust pants they bought off someone for $200 moshing to bands WHO ARE ALSO PRETENDING TO BE BROKE. Seriously a local band sings about working and doing anything for money, but then you get to know them and find out that they don’t have a job and are being completely supported by their parents who they see two times a year.

you do not have to be broke to be punk!! but you are not punk if you’re romanticizing inequality you capitalist pigs!!

photography professor opened my canister and exposed all of my film after i perfectly rolled it. wanted me to still develop it because it “might have something on it”. that shit was fully black when i put it in the dryer. that shit was fully black when i picked it up today. that shit was fully black when a professor who i actually care about their opinion of me walked in and saw THE FULLY BLACK REEL. WHY DID SHE MAKE ME DO THIS.

I got the opportunity to go to a premiere of Mickey 17. I highly recommend it. It’s so good and is stacked filled with social and political commentary. GO SEE IT!!
