massacres in a refugee camp do not count as a rescue mission.
media day and they are already asking weird questions to checo about his contract. as he has said, he hasn't ever shared his contract details publicly and he isn't ever going to do that (he doesn't have to). it's so weird that everybody is so quick to blame checo, and to say that he is doing awfully and that he should be removed etc, but there is absolute silence on the racism he faces, the weird comments made by his team, the rumours spread about him, the team ignoring him and his issues with the car (and apologising to him), so many things.
it's so irritating to see these repeated questions of "is your contract still there" or whatever they ask. don't want to imagine how annoying it must be for him to repeatedly answer the same question without cursing or being "rude" or sounding like he doesn't want to be there or reaching whatever standards they have for him.
IN MY BAGGY BAGGY JEANS
Max going into a season without Checo and realizing he’s going to be stuck with a whiny kid who makes the cars movie and acting like ken his whole personality
Young and cheap is so 😭😭😭
damn they called him a jailbait AND a cheap hooker in the same sentence😭😭
I hoped for a Checo podium so now im sad but in all seriousness I hope both Checo and Carlos are okay
I’ve never been more embarrassed of my nationality until seeing this interaction between Trump, Vance and Zelenskyy.
These are the men that represent the United States of America. A felon for a president and his little side piece that I forgot was even Vice President because of Elon Musk.
A man that praises a oligarch, saying how amazing Russia is and that they listen to him, in front of a man whose country is getting bombed, invaded, and attacked by Russia/Putin, and that Zelenskyy is an ungrateful dictator for the AID we’ve been giving them when it’s been the very opposite. A man that portrays himself as a KING in the land that fought against a king for independence and freedom of the people. A man that seeks Gaza as sight for future PROFIT rather than seeing it as a genocide that should be taken seriously for all those who died and are still getting murdered as we speak.
As a American, it’s important to speak for our opinions that will shape our country. But it is even more important to criticize this government that refuses to acknowledge the determination that it’s not only caused to itself, but it’s allies and it’s very own people who are turning into brain dead zombies.
Wake the fuck up America. This is a man who’s a lap dog for Putin and seeking to set up a system to be just like Russia as long as he’s in office, and hoping to stay in office as long as he can.
This isn’t a president. This is a man who wants to be a dictator just like his master.
The people of the United States of America need to take a stand and take affirmative action. We the people must see this and do what our founding fathers did before us against the British, and reinforce our rights of the Declaration of Independence.
The United States has to wake up and realize that what we aren’t going to be a democracy/republic for much longer as long as Trump is in office.
Today was the first day of school and I already have a quiz Friday. I hate ap classes
So, when Checo was on the seat, he was horrible and all of you wished him and his family (including the kids) the worst, but now all of you are saying that second seat is cursed
It all goes back to racism and xenophobia
I feel a bit disgusted(?), infuriated(?) about how some people still complained about how China celebrated Zhou during Chinese GP and made a special spot for his car after the race?
First of all, the ceremony isn't that big that it overshadows the winner. The race still happens as it is. The crowd still hype the drivers and the winners/podium seaters. No spotlight was taken. It is still a normal GP and throughout the week, they didn't make it like a "ZHOU GUANYU GP"
Second of all, it is NOT about Zhou's achievement in F1. It is about how China WANTS to appreciate Zhou as the first Chinese citizen to make it into Formula One. It is not about him finishing P1 or P100. It is about him MAKING IT IN. "Oh but Zhou used sponsors to get in-" so did 102738373 drivers before him, in which some of them still stayed several seasons without scoring a point. Why is a "sponsor-backed" driver now only becoming a problem once it's Zhou? Stop acting like F1 is not a money motivated sport. Zhou can get whatever sponsor he wants but he also WORKED HARD and on behalf of his country, he made it in. Regardless of where he placed in the race, he fucking made it and that's whats matter.
The people in China and the young aspiring kids from China have their FULL RIGHTS to celebrate their home hero in their home race. You don't have to win 100 trophies to deserve appreciation. Zhou Guanyu may not be your hero. But he is someone's hero out there because he made it. Because he proved to those kids that SOMEONE from China can also be an F1 driver.
Lastly, if you think it's still weird for a country to do all that, i'm sorry that your country is so shit at respecting and appreciating its citizens' achievements.
well 🧍♀️ as a reminder this blog is NOT a safe space for trump supporters but it IS a safe place for women, queers, trans ppl, people of color, undocumented people, and any marginalized group.
