I hate what he has done to the show I once loved.

And he managed a thing I never thought possible: I stopped watching the show.

Same. My main investment in the show has always been the relationship between the brothers, but Carver and his merry band of misfits (I’m not giving the writers a free pass regardless of Robbie ‘fanservice’ Thompson’s recent attempts at damage control, sorry) won’t quit until that bond is destroyed for good. Hey, they’re halfway there already. Contrived conflict (and teenage melodrama) is what this show currently thrives on. I was wondering when the blame game would begin, they’ve been uncharacteristically cordial this season. Fratricide in the season final? Or the (temporary) demise of another ‘fan favourite’? We’ll just blame it on the Mark and bring them back next season.  

Maybe I’m wrong. Maybe they’ll come up with a plot twist that has everyone gasping in surprise. But it’s too late. Fuck you Carver, seriously. Who’d have thought that the guy responsible for one of my favorite eps in the show’s run would be the one to turn me against it? 

I hope season 11 will be the last, because I think the show has been damaged beyond repair. A change of showrunner/writers won’t erase that.

Carver needs to be fired. I really really hate that guy.

Upon the release of “Return of the King” in 2003, Viggo made a spontaneous and unannounced visit to Colosseum, the biggest movie theatre in Oslo, on the day of the premiere. He entered the stage, sang and read elvish poetry to the audience. Genuinely cool guy.

I hate what this campaign is doing to fandom. And I’m one of the people who have expressed critical opinions on Jensen’s FB and basically been told to grow a sense of humour.  The GOOD thing is that a lot of people ARE critical and are (finally) speaking out, consequences be damned. I wish I understood Jensen’s motivations for taking part in this. 

Just want to say how much I love you all before I leave. I couldn’t take it anymore and posted my opinion of this creepy, stalkery yana campaign on twitter. Even my best friend turned on me. So, I’m out.

I’ll keep my hat polished, but I won’t be part of the #SPNFamily anymore. I don’t need an adopted family that hurts me more than my RL family does.

We will be so sorry not to have you here but I can’t even blame you at this point. There is nothing funny about stalking. It’s horrifying. I saw someone suggest that someone should tell Misha and Jensen politely that this is triggering and a bad idea, but every time someone tries to do just that, they get attacked. I just went on FB and saw one lady very politely suggest this very thing and she got called a bibro, a hater, and a bitch with a stick up her ass. This is of course coming from fans who are pretending to be so supportive of mental health issues. The truth is that they do not give a rat’s ass about mental health or this charity. They only care about it from a shipping perspective and it’s gross.

I feel sick. If something like this happened in Norway, the public outcry would be so loud your eardrums ruptured. And people still have the nerve to say that rape culture and male privilege doesn’t exist in so-called “civilized” nations? 

This “principal” would embrace and encourage hijabs and niqabs.

What was so bad about Stephanie’s outfit that she was being punished for it? Her exposed collarbone. Her mother was called to the school but even after giving her daughter a scarf, the outfit was still deemed inappropriate.

This may have been the last straw though, as the Kentucky students’ latest effort to fight back may actually get the dress code changed.

While I loved the Genesis mention, I was aware of the not-so-subtle double reference. He's pandering to every corner of fandom. His "Where's the bro-hug"-tweet made me see red, it was such an obvious bait.

I heard that robbie thom. actually knows his way pretty well around the destihell fandom, i think he chose those names BECAUSE of their double meaning to the shippers. This makes me so mad bc he's enabling them and even encouraging their obnoxious behavior. I think he's teasing them and it's really fucking annoying bc WE Have to deal with the aftermath, not him. I'm so mad right now and I can't even find it in me to pissed at the shippers. I am so upset about this. Sorry.

Never apologize darling for ranting. But the more I think about it and the more I see posts on the subject, the more I wonder just what was thompson up to. Was it just about Genesis, OR was it a nod to the minions. 

But you are right, THEY think it is and until they get tired of their own bullshit, WE are going to listen to their cries of canon bullshit. 

I never want to see Jensen (or Jared) pander to the Destiel/Cockles shippers again. It's not a legitimate selling point for the show, as the ratings regarding the most recent episode has demonstrated. Most regular viewers aren't shippers at all. They just want action/adventure, which SOAPernatural was once able to deliver, but no more.

I read it somewhat differently. It could be about shipping, but the whole “own personal stories” made me think about Jared’s AKF campaign. He started a good thing, and now fans think dumping their emotional baggage on him during cons is perfectly reasonable.

Creation changed their policy about questions. This is on the screen at Vancon right now.

Do you suppose this is why they deleted it?
