it's only one sample because the sample taken is an Atomic Thing. you can't separate it into the samples it was made of and use each of those in different ways from the first sampler without failing to sample the first sampler.
(context for this one: I'm talking mostly about long medleys that sample or quote a couple dozen different songs, a genre where it's normal to indicate precisely how many songs have been sampled, and to assign a number to each sample used. see ryuupekosi for an example of this in my own work.)
final track I had the honour of working on for Vast Error Volume 5: Side B

So many people do not understand the relationship between climate change and cold weather.
unsung benefit i think a lot of ppl are sleeping on with using the public library is that i think its a great replacement for the dopamine hit some ppl get from online shopping. it kind of fills that niche of reserving something that you then get to anticipate the arrival of and enjoy when it arrives, but without like, the waste and the money.
really cool style :)
Turns out lineless works really well for bionicle :) this one is based on my own Chiara moc that I made for Visions, in which I made sure to give waist articulation to fit with the acrobatics she keeps pulling off in fights
The thing I hate most about transhumanism discourse are the appeals to "humanity". Like, "are you less human if you have cybernetics?" and "does it affect your humanity if you change your genes?"
And I just.. Look man, I'm trans, disabled, and autistic. Half the world already barely considers me human, on a good day.
So I don't think it makes sense to get mad at me for wanting fangs and a gender you can pick up on a Geiger counter.
You're yelling about this being a slippery slope, and meanwhile you pushed me down it. You can't justify annoyance at me deciding to go "weeee" all the way down.
frankly outside the moral reasons to be pro-shoplifting I'd rather folks just take something instead of attempting to haggle me to pay less on technicalities
I don't have the patience to explain why you can't add an expired coupon to a discount promotion that hasn't started yet please just steal them it'll be easier for both of us
Bionicle
This came across my youtube and I think it fits Secily, end of thought process.
My nook's cramps have worsened since the murder of my matesprit. Corporate is doing nothing, and my boss says that my detective skills, however brilliant, have no place near this investigation. I have always been a woman who puts her job before her personal life, but what about personal death? My obsession with my job nearly cost me my kismesissitude, and now my obsession with my matesprit's death may cost me my job. I failed my matesprit in life, I will do her justice in death. Who am I? I'm Secily Iopara, and this is my story...
It really was a pity the Velika As A Great Being arc wasn't finished, (or even properly started, arguably), because Bionicle never really got to explore its Matoran Universe characters as artificial beings having or acquiring personhood.
Almost every other story about robots, cyborgs or artificial beings plays with or explores what it is to be 'alive' or 'human'. But in the absence of organic sapient beings, it was never really a thing in Bionicle. The Matoran never questioned their status as being alive or being people, and even the Glatorian seemed to readily accept them as people upon first meeting them.
So it would have been fascinating to see them confronted with the possibility that they were not people, just convincing imitations of the real thing, according to Velika.
Neurotypicals: Think Autistic people are exceptionally literal.
Autistics: Describe their experiences using phrases like:
My brain feels like it’s filled with cotton laced with barbed wire, it’s not safe for me to make decisions right now.
I’m entering a Wait Mode until we leave.
Just looking at that rotten food makes my skin feel slimy.
Neurotypicals: Assume the Autistics are using metaphorical language to exaggerate common experiences.
