They finnaly arrived I’m gonna be so happy wearing these around hopefully people won’t get the wrong idea
Anon asked:
Do you have any collars and dehumanization prompts?
I have a couple:
“Hello, pet.”
The whumper removes any instance of the whumpees names/nicknames. They are just ‘pet’ (or whatever else the owner wants to call them.) They’re not even called ‘blue eyes’ or ‘blondie’ etc.
The collar is one of those barbed ones, or a loop leash that tightens if the whumpee strays too far.
Maybe they’re kept at the whumpers side - forever forced to crawl by them/sit on their haunches.
It takes a long time for them to learn the behaviour… and it'll take even longer for them to unlearn it when they’re rescued.
The whumpee could eventually turn feral - taking on characteristics of a pet.
Maybe the whumper has a ‘pack’ of pets - I can imagine the new addition being unwelcome/being forced to fight for their food.
They’re fed in a bowl on the floor.
If they’re good they’re given treats (small biscuits, scraps of meat etc)
Over time, they feel anxious if they don’t have a collar around their neck. At first it’s claustrophobic, but then they feel too exposed without it.

As someone who wears a lot of collars and chokers, I thought I’d share what it’s really like for all you whump writers out there!
If you’ve been wearing a collar non-stop for multiple hours, your neck will get sweaty and itchy
Even if the collar isn’t actually tight, it might feel like it and create a constant sense of discomfort
Looking down with a collar will make it harder to breathe
If the collar is tight enough, you will constantly feel your heartbeat in your neck and it’s very annoying and disturbing
Taking deep breaths with a tight collar puts pressure on your throat and it’s very uncomfortable
Metal collars will be cold at first but quickly warm up against your skin
If your hands are free, you will likely put a finger between your collar and neck to get more breathing space
You often have to move your head around to find the most comfortable position where you don’t feel your collar pressing on your throat too much
Don’t be shy to add more!
