The world is burning and exploding on itself so how abt some non-romantic DW Hcs
In my dandy’s world au, distractors are very respected (like in the actual game). Without a distraction, many toons would get hurt way worse than usual. Even so this role is still dangerous, twisteds are unpredictable and aggressive which can result in scars. Luckily with the toons being objects the scars are fixable most of the time but the trauma does still remain. Most distractors talk to toons like Rodger or Teagan about this troubles. Also sprout should be technically here, but I forgot to include him + I see him enjoying healing more.

Goob, while he was still kind of in training, and his team were doing a “energy run” and they made it to floor 15 with help of goob distracting. On that floor, they came across a twisted Pebble, Finn and Toddles. Goob still decided to distract while the others did the machines. Poppy, who was on the team, heard Goob screamed and ran over and concern. As the elevator opened and scraps and Boxten inside, poppy was screaming at them to tell Dandy to go back up while a disoriented, bleeding, and crying Goob was wrapped around her (not pictured here). Using fabric from an old teddy bear, Shelly was able to sew his face up.

Cosmo gets easily excited on topics related to baking

Cosmo loves catching up with Ginger when she's around and relies on her heavily for advice
Cosmo gets nervous doing things he doesn't understand

POPPY!!
Poppy still keeps her iconic bow but I have her a jacket and shorts because I thought it looked nice and a lot of other people design her this way too. Same with the buns! I changed her atrocious socks and the orange was blinding and ugly so it's more yellow now.
I was hesitant to give anyone other than Sprout and Cosmo a friendship bracelet because their trinkets are very important to their arc and story as well as overall themes of their friendship. Buuuuut I decided to just give it to her so as a starter she'd have a matching thing to Boxten. :P
Poppy is very energetic and a great friend, she's also very brave.
BOXTEN!!
He's just a silly little guy. Had his socks to match Poppy as well + Poppy bracelet. Boxten is slightly nervous and cautious around people as well as shy. He's nice though, and always willing to help out his fellow toons.
COSMO!!
Cosmo has four versions. 😭
Cosmo is a shy and cautious toon but very open once you get to know hin. He's usually always with his best friend, Sprout!
Cosmo is a very self-sacrificing and kind toon, making sure everyone is better before he is. Sprout HATES this.

SHRIMPO!!
Wanted elements of his emo skin cuz it matches. Shrimpo is in constant physical pain which is why he's so grouchy. Also because he's made to be a typical bully character. However, Shrimpo will get an actual character and development.
LOOEY!!
NEED to find a new suit color, clashes too much. I HATE his original colors so I tweaked them a bit. Gave him his little knot. :3

TISHA!!
Gave her gloves n full clothes cuz she's a clean freak. Also shoesies because I feel like her not having shoes would be a huge germ hazard for her!!

In this Au, the toons get a sickness that causes them to become twisteds. Due to circumstances of Gardenview the commons aren't around to catch the sickness. So the commons are going to help them—with the help of Dandy of course..!

Jobs:
Boxten does research as well as expeditions to find the twisteds. He builds things to aid in the fixing of Gardenview
Poppy does most of the hard labor—along with Shrimpo—and during expeditions gets hurt often as she's the one who fist fighting/restraining twisteds.
Shirmpo is bait as well as an instigator. He goes on expeditions with Team A and gets the Twisted, vulnerable enough to get caught. He constantly puts his life on the line to catch the toons. He also helps with stock and inventory.
Comso mainly helps with recovery. He gets hurt a lot during stage one as the twisteds don't know they're being helped.
Looey works mainly on the floor. He works on helping stage three twisteds, trying to help them be the toon they used to be. Think speech, physical and mental therapist. He cooks the meals as well, despite Cosmo being the better chef.
Tisha helps run things. She makes sure everyone is taking their medicines on time—prescribed by Dandy—and that everything is in order.
Character extras:
• Comso keeps medkits on him due to his clumsiness
• Tisha likes to keep a list of important things for her to do
• Boxten insomnia makes it hard for him to work sometimes
• Looey isn't allowed on expeditions after be almost was killed during a run
• Shrimpo takes his anger out on his beat up punching bags due to the stress
• Dandy runs the machines as well as expeditions! He helps with the supplies
• The Commons do NOT like the new protein shake Dandy is giving them :)
