People will literally go “ooooh mark seibert is such a boring actor he makes all his characters aggressively heterosexual”. meanwhile mark seibert is out there like
like. mark as colloredo did NOT wear those kneehighs and stare at other men like that for you to call him boring and straight,,, the audacity,,,
and like, even if someone argues that it’s his tod that’s a problem, well.. just know that oliver arno rudolf disagrees with you
i keep thinking about how in the original 1992 production of the elisabeth musical "death" was implied to be genderfluid and even appeared in a ball gown in one scene and for some reason later productions turned him into some guy in a leather jacket and made what used to be a cool metaphor for depression and suicidal tendencies into just another heterosexual love story

Elisabeth, but burning schobrunn like mrs.danvers burning manderley??
Ultra-specific trope im thinking really hard about: When a character refuses to kill someone who asks them to, not out of righteousness or any care for the other person, but out of hostility or spite. No, I won’t give you what you want. I won’t let you escape this through death.
