"It's true”, Max says, tilting Oscar’s face until they're eye to eye. Oscar thinks about how easy it would be to join their lips. Almost, unconsciously, he runs his tongue along the seam of his lips. Is it his imagination or are Max's eyes following the movement of his tongue along his lips? Oscar presses a little closer until they can share the same breath. or Oscar's journey through his feelings for Max from admiration to friendship to something more.
