Personally?

I hated Sky Breaker, that’s mainly because I legit don’t touch direhorses. Im pretty much ALWAYS on my Ikran.

So when secret of the spires came out? Eyo I played for hours and hours with no break. (Not good for me I know) but holy hell it was SUCH A GOOD FUCKING DLC.

100/10 recommend.

Also… Ubisoft?

CAN WE HAVE ROMANCE OPTIONS PLEASE.

The Sky Breaker DLC

My opinion and thoughts

This is my first post and I’m new to posting my thoughts and ideas. I hope I get to meet people and interact more.

⚠️Spoilers of the Sky Breaker DLC⚠️

(I’ve finished the DLC already. Took nine hours in the main Quest.)

The story was beautifully done but in my opinion it felt too short and rushed. The final battle to defeat Harding felt very dull. Like she was just dead? Didn’t check the body or anything? No cutscene?

In comparison to Mercers death we saw him get pinned to the wall by that claw machine thanks to Teylan. The Drill collapsed on him and exploded he was finally gone.

But in Hardings I feel like it was just not right. There wasn’t enough proof that she was dead. Maybe she will come back? Like Quaritch? That’s just a theory of course but I still wasn’t convinced she was dead. I really do wonder who would be the next villain in the next DLC.

The visuals of the game are amazing. In the beginning and trailer it felt more colorful. I expected the map to be more colorful just like it showed in the trailer. (I am still exploring the map so I cannot say much.)

I understand the hard work for the developers and I thank them for giving me this experience I do not want them to feel pressured for any of this. This is just my thoughts and what I’ve seen in the game. I do not want to offend anyone. If this bothers you I understand but we all have opinions. I do not want to cause trouble.

In part of Hardings death. Maybe, the developers wanted to change it? I am alright with their decisions and I am in awe on how much they work on this beautiful game. The final battle had me sweating bullets, running around the whole battle ground. It made me laugh and enjoy the game more.

I love how they added more personality to the characters and their growth. And the Sarentu that we played had more interactions and personality. You could see the bond grow between the characters. Same with So’lek that we where introduced to a new part of his personality he was more comfortable with exposing himself and it showed that he was not the revengeful warrior like he always is. Like in the Great games with him and Nesim, and Eetu with the loss of their bonded.

Loved how Teylan and Okul were. They’re like a duo I never knew that I needed! We saw more of Teylan trying to understand and bond with Eywa after his toxic relationship with Mercer and I loved that they added it. Same to Rinela the future Tsahìk of the Sarentu! We saw how she managed the problems in the camp after the crash and how she is following the guidance of Minang. Loved the relationship of Anufi and Nefika too. I was in slight shock when Mokasa came back out of nowhere I thought it would be Nor but maybe next DLC Secrets of The Spires which I am confident we find him there. And I kinda felt that Mokasa was going to die too.

And, I have to say it again I LOVE the characters interactions! It just makes me so happy. I was always grinning like an idiot as I explored through the Great Games Camp.

just managed to finish all of the barks!! doing the icons is quite easy once you get the lil' material indicator thing on the lower corner.... aside from that - i just updated the directory for the doc (made them more readable, and not as horribly sequenced...) time to go back to work! still got about... 200 more items to go :')

a lil sneak-peek of a google docs im working on! i've been a bit of a hard time trying to find materials in Avatar Frontiers, and the fact that all the maps are half fogged-up on every website kinda annoys me ^^' so i planned on making my own!

every single item will be on the docs, and right now i have almost 70 items on the list! (still gotta do full wiki pages like with the two images on top...)

anyhow! send over a message if you want early access to the docs! ♡

most of the pages look like the image on the right- but i think its plenty of info to locate materials! (the rest of the stuff is mostly descriptions/technical info from the hunter's guide)

mm okul my beloved ♡ along with relun, who grew on me, and a random kame'tire member who i met near meadow's edge field lab.. such a pretty lad in a pretty place (further screenshots below)

i absolutely adore the lush greenery of the Kinglor Forest - and flying around with your ikran, or finding the occasional direhorse is always a blast! plus, the surprising diversity and recognizability of the different biomes is so wonderfully executed ♡

oh man, the upper plains... the colors immediately struck me- especially around the crimson biomes, and the purple steppe! along with the environment, the zeswa have such a wonderful type of artistry to them! dancing, singing, painting! absolutely gorgeous ♡♡

and of course, who could forget the clouded forest ♡♡♡♡ man, such a different biome from what we've seen in the franchise so far -- and it did Not dissappoint! wonderful areas, gorgeous colors, and the atmosphere is so clear and recognisable! you can almost feel the humidness in the air ⊹

going for something a little different, but- we'll see who this reaches!
