The Gear VR has become available today for purchase online via Samsung’s and AT&T’s websites as well as the Oculus store. Anyone with a Galaxy Note 4 can take a dive deeper than Dev Kit 2 into virtual reality. Speaking about it we know that the screen of Galaxy Note 4 provides a better resolution (1440p) than Oculus Rift Dev Kit 2 has (1080p) in its present version. Samsung Galaxy Note 4 will ship in the end of the month with a new S Pen
This week Samsung has proclaimed about new reincarnation of the most popular smartphone from the Galaxy Note series - Galaxy Note 4. Brand new device takes on board the new upgraded S Pen, which has become even lighter than before.
You could easily get the S Pen from the device's tunnel-groove to use it, but the Samsung engineers have decided that the way it used to be is still not perfect. And to be frankly, they are right, as the process of removal and placing it back is too complicated comparing to a simple notebook and pen usage, therefore this sophisticated process was improved had to be improved first of all.
Other smartphone specs were not changed. There is still a Samsung Exynos 5433 processor, Adreno 420 GPU, 3GB of RAM and 32/64GB of internal memory. There are two cameras: one are 16-megapixel and 3.7-megapixel, which can be used as a Selfie sensor together with IP67 waterproof casing resistance status. All kinds of wireless connectivity, which you may need are also supported in this device.
The new Galaxy Note 4 is equipped with S Pen stylus from Samsung making it much more easier to make the notes and drawings on the 5.7-inch Quad HD Super AMOLED display.
New development from Samsung is already released in South Korea and China and is expected it will set sail to West Coast in the end of this month. Estimated date of arrival is 17th of October 2014.

Samsung strikes Oculus Rift back
Actually it can be called a blow below the belt because it is not a classic virtual reality helmet in a common sense. This is a simple trick that can be considered as genius.
Practically it seems to be a classic VR but in fact it is a bandage with a phone that works exclusively together with the new Samsung Galaxy Note 4 smartphone. Gear VR is just an assembly of a separate parts to be paired together. To use the handset as a basis is truly a genius decision, isn't it? Especially if the screen resolution of the device allows you to use it at its full potential.
Speaking about the screen of Galaxy Note 4, it provides a better resolution than Oculus Rift Dev Kit 2 in its present version. Oculus certainly holds a number of benefits, such as elimination of motion blur and pesky nausea problems. Note 4 having a large number of pixels can not effectively do it. Maybe it was the key to a successful deal between Samsung with Oculus. But to having the phone separated from headset is also worth something.
Gear VR also has a volume rocker, a small touchpad, and a back button. But Oculus Rift provides powerful graphics card for the same money amount. Therefore we can conclude that Samsung Gear VR will be great for videos and Oculus Rift for games. The price of helm only is $199, together with phablet which will cost less than $800 or $290 on-contract in U.S. it will cost $1000 lump sum.

The Samsung Galaxy Note 4 is now official
It seems like Samsung has completely revealed all details. In earlier known specifications there were some changes and they are waving in front of us with new details about Galaxy Note 4 right now.
The Galaxy Note 4 will come with a 5.7-inch Quad HD Super AMOLED display at a demented resolution of 2560x1440 pixels (515 ppi). Inside of the body itself the quad core 2.7GHz Qualcomm Snapdragon 805 or eight core Samsung Exynos 5433 processors by choice, Adreno 420 GPU, 3GB of RAM and 32/64GB of internal memory for both models will be located. This device also got an excellent 16-megapixel back camera with Optical Image Stabilization system, 3.7-megapixel module for Selfies and a fingerprint sensor. The body of Note 4 is a dust and waterproof and conforms to the IP67 standard, that indeed corresponds to the established tradition. The handset also comes with a new Samsung S pen.
The fourth generation of Galaxy Note will be launched globally in October, so it will go on sale in the US with Android 4.4.4 KitKat on board. It costs $299 on-contract and $799 off-contract. The Note 4 is available on AT&T, Sprint, T-Mobile and certainly Verizon.
