Okay This is going to be really dark now so TW for self harm.
Severus was bullied badly and when you receive that kind of abuse your whole life it’s very hard to like yourself. That spell wasn’t probably meant to cut someone into ribbons because we saw it used by Harry who was angry and unfamiliar with the spell. It was probably used for Severus to self harm with. That’s why there was an antidote-spell so he could hide it better. And it was probably labelled “for enemies”because he was his own enemy
