a/n: this is for @betterthangetawaycar love you girly. also sorry if this wasn't good! i just wanted to release something for valentines day!

it's cute, the details and trinkets that gavi keeps because of me. i didn't even know he would collect these memories, only realising when i spotted the pebble that we had decorated many months ago.

i nearly forgot about that and it warms my heart that he hasn't.

they all say the end is coming and all of them are up to something, yet i can only find myself running home to him.

and the world outside, they're all pushing and shoving but he, being the angel he is just humming along to some tune that i couldn't recognise and i'm so happy because he doesn't ask for anything but for me to be happy.

as i walk past all the shining lights of the shops on the way home, i write all my thoughts down and make it into a poem and when i perform my piece to you all you can do is smile and say "what a mind"

and all i can think is how did i get this lucky?

everyone else is making time go faster, all of them rushing around and pushing and shouting. i don't have to deal with that because i have him and he makes time slow down for me.

i find peace in gavi.

all he wants from me is nothing, even when the voices that surround us and say "that we should be doing more" i can't because i'm too soft and in love for all of it.

i'm in love with him and his humming and his voice and his laugh and his face and his compliments and just everything about him.

and maybe it's because all he wants from me is sweet nothing.
