“I’m that bitch” - Ella Dawson while schooling an ignorant troll

Ella Dawson has genital herpes, and she wants to tell you about it. 

She’s not speaking up for the shock value — she’s telling you because she wants all of us to be able to talk about STIs without shame or stigma. When we make it okay to talk about, she says, people are more likely to get tested and less likely to be afraid to share their status. 

In her badass talk at TEDxConnecticut College, Ella tells the story of her diagnosis, how she overcame feeling like “human trash,” and why we need to end the stigma — now. It’s packed with information (and a shot of humor), and if you didn’t already agree with her, you will by the time she’s done.

Простой герпес (известен также как герпес на губах) является очень неприятной болезнью, которая ставит больного в неловкое положение.

Виновником этого раздражения является вирус Herpes simplex 1 типа. По данным учёных, в некоторых регионах, более чем 80 % населения является носителями этого вируса.

Проявлению этого заболевания способствуют многие факторы:

   стресс;    солнечный свет;    усталость;    менструация.

Главными признаками простого герпеса являются:

   появление болезненного пузырька на губе, наполненного жидкостью, или появление болезненных ощущений в горле или в полости рта;    зуд вокруг рта может быть симптомом указывающий на появление герпеса (как правило, через 1-2 дня появляется пузырёк на губе);    через некоторое время пузырёк может треснуть, а внутренняя жидкость выходит наружу, после чего на месте герпеса появляется корка, которая исчезает через 1-1,5 недель.

Лечение герпеса зависит от многих факторов. Было замечено, что очень эффективными для исцеления данного расстройства являются:

   продукты питания богатые лизином;    мелисса лекарственная;    настойка мирры;    масло зеленого чая;    йогурты;    уксус.

В случае герпеса на губах, очень важным фактором является профилактика данного заболевания. При подозрении на появление данной болезни, следует избегать продуктов питания богатые аргинином, а также потреблять больше лизина.

Было установлено, что важную роль в патологии простого герпеса играет цинк, который блокирует размножение вируса.
