Caved and bought myself a whole new bed setup. After spending time in various hotels for work over the summer I realized my mattress is just. Not my friend. And my current setup is a king, which is just way too big.

Did I have the money for this? No! But I'm tired of waking up with so much back pain so. Here we are.

really need to get myself a new mattress current one puts too much pressure on my hips when I'm contorting myself into shapes that relieve my back pain so my choices are extremely painful hips or extremely painful back and I end up spinning like a rotisserie chicken all night <- prev this is so beautiful you are a poet I am going to wake up in 10 years with this simile in my head and have no clue where on earth it came from and I think that's delightful
