however bsd i am in eskew like neither of them can stop pushing on to live another day despite believing death is the better option I know it’s different cause atsushi doesn’t think he deserves to live and David doesn’t think life is worth living I think both characters are a lot about continuing to live even when you’re brain is telling you it’s not worth it and atsushi's arc is about how those thoughts can be overcome with love and support from others sorry I have bsd brain rot rn and I cannot stop thinking about them and none of this is even going into how all Dazais view on life/death would add to the conversation
