I’m currently very scared for the future of Jeremy and Jean’s relationship. Because in TSC we learn that Jean has a very public reputation for “sleeping his way onto the Ravens starting line,” and exy fans and reporters alike would rip Jean to shreds if it came out that he was dating the captain of his new team. And even though he has feelings for Jean, Jeremy—knowing the truth behind the rumors—would rather cut off his own hand than contribute to Jean’s suffering.

i think there’s a bunch of different ways it could go but i honestly think it’s really likely that they don’t end up together in the books while jeremy is a trogan. i could see her establishing a future relationship that we don’t actually get to see. someone in the notes said they could see jeremy stepping down as captain and i think that’s interesting. jean has such an unhealthy way of viewing team captains that i think jeremy would have a hard time not feeling as if he’s taking advantage of jean. not that he would be! but i think the idea would be there in both of their heads. not saying this is how it needs to turn out. i’m rooting for them i think they’ll be good for each other. these are just my thoughts lol
